Norbert has killed his wife and has been sentenced to two years of prison for negligent homicide.Now he has been released, a taxi driver carries him to his house.There Norbert meets Frank Wend,his former cellmate who wants to live him in that house.Leo Kress arrives at the house and when he asks Norbert if he has visit, Norbert says a lie.Later Kirsten Gallo appears at the house, speaks a little with her father, Frank Wend presents himself saying that he will take care for Norbert.Then Kirsten goes to the office of Kress and tells that she has seen Frank Wend in the house of his father.In the night the police receives a phone call from the neighbors of Norbert who have listened to shots.Norbert Gallo is found dead in his house.

Arno Brandes , a commercial representative for postal cards and Lilo Arnes, his wife have a very tense relationship.After the supper they were speaking together when suddenly the door bell rings.Lilo opens the door and three masked persons menace her and say her to turn her back.They shot and killed Arno Brandes.The neighbor who saw the three masked persons going away in a car has noticed the car registration.Lilo Brandes says Leo Kress that they were three women.Some minutes later Kress knows the the car has been stolen and found in the town.

Irene Kugan, spouse of Wolfgang Kugan has a love affair: today her husband invites her for dinner.She answers that she will call him to confirm that she will come.Then Irene speaks with her daughter Sophie and proposes her to travel with her to Florida.But Sophie doesn't accept.Irene Kugan goes to a cafe where she meets her lover , Christian Harloh and tells him that she will travel to Florida and that her relationship is now finished.A man is observing them.They go for their last date to a park with a lake.The same man was observing.At the office of the criminal squad a man arrives: his name is Robert Wels.He tells Leo Kress that he had to kill a woman, but that he can't do it.The woman is Irene Kugan and her husband Wolfgang gave him 20.000 DM for the contract.He tells that he has a record tape with his conversation with Wolfgang Kugan.Leo Kress arrives at the house of family Kugan, the door is open and there is a corpse in the living room.Irene Kugan has been killed by two shots.Wolfgang Kugan arrives at his house and is put under police custody.But Leo Kress says that the case may be more complicated.

Ira Bernhard has gone to the doctor's office of Dr. Wolfgang Kuri, her lover: they agree to meet in the night near the lake.When Ira enters into her car, her daughter , Leonie, surprised her and asked her why she went to the psychiatrist.A man is following Ira and calls Kurt Bernhard , the husband of Ira to inform him about his wife.A little later Dr. Wolfgang Kuri receives an letter with a menace signed Thomas Parkon.Dr. Kuri calls Leo Kress to inform about it, but he refuses the police protection.Leo Kress and his team are looking for Thomas Parkon at his house, but Vera Parkon, his wife says that he went out.Ira and the Dr.Kuri meet together at the lake, he tells her that Thomas Parkon was released from prison and wants to kill him.Suddenly Dr.Kuri is killed by two shots and Ira Bernhard is injured by a shot and sent to a hospital.
