Luc is found heavily wounded. He's rushed to hospital. The operation is successful, but he's not out of danger yet. Lowie is scared he will end up alone, but Julia will be there for him. Frank admits to Simonne he and Eddy scared him a bit, but he was alive when they left him. Femke wants to talk to Tim, but he doesn't want to talk to her. He packs all her things and wants her out of the house. Peggy is disappointed now her wedding party is falling apart, but Peter tries to make something out of it.

There is a full investigation after Luc's attack. Frank and Eddy are picked up by the police and remain in jail. They have violated their bail. Everyone is questioned by the police. Many have reasons to hurt Luc, but everyone seems to have an alibi. Tibo has a wound on his hand. He tells everyone he just fell. Femke apologizes to Tim and wants to go on with him, but he doesn't want her anymore. Femke is stopped in her car by Tim for an alcohol test. It's not good.

Lowie feels strange when he saw Luc wake up, stare for a few minutes into nothing and then just fell asleep again. Luc has brain damage and it's not sure what he remembers, but he does recognize Lowie. Nancy tries to talk to Tim about Femke, but he's done with her. Judith, Ann and Geert agree about a new schedule, so they all have more time. Nancy takes over Femke's job at the Frens. When Simonne hears about Femke, she gets angry. Not even a year ago she hurt Simonne when she was drunk.

Peter gives Peggy hints for their honeymoon by wearing Wellington boots. Tibo is fired after what he did to Luc.

Luc calls Julia. He misses her. She still doesn't want to tell Lowie where the wrench with which he hit Luc with is. The police slowly eliminate suspects. Stoop questions Julia. She tells him Lowie is not the type to hurt his father. Tim asks Luc if he remembers anything, but he still can't. When Lowie and Luc are alone, Luc says he remembers every detail. How angry Lowie was and how he hit him with a wrench outside Sanitechniek. He will never tell anyone, because he loves his son. Stan has bad grades on Latin. Judith wants him to put more effort into it although he hates it.

Julia tells Luc Lowie is arrested, because Lowie isn't a coward like his father. He wants to be a better man than Luc. Stan told Kurt he wants to give up Latin. Kurt has no problems with that, but Judith does. Peggy can't figure out where her honeymoon will go to. Waldek helps them. At last Peggy knows and is very excited. Thomas is back to see Franky. Nancy helps Jens at the Frens.

Luc tells Julia he'll keep saying to the police he doesn't remember anything and asks her to provide Lowie with an alibi. She's not sure if this is what Lowie wants and she doesn't want to lie for Luc anymore. On the wrench is only blood from Luc and nothing else. Lowie tells Stoop Luc destroys everybody's life and he's faking his amnesia. Franky can hardly believe what happened between him and Thomas. He asks Jens to keep quiet about it. Franky feels bad towards Tibo about it. It's very busy at the B&B. Simonne can't spare anyone to help them in the cafe, because they're very busy themselves. Rosa thinks she just doesn't want to help them.

Julia tells Simonne everything that happened and how Luc feigns his amnesia. She doesn't know what to do anymore. Stoop informs Luc that Lowie called him a cheat and a liar. Luc finally admits he remembers everything, but he didn't want to tell it was Lowie, because he's his son. He says he provoked Lowie, he almost asked him to hit him. Simonne proposes Rosa to hire Julia to help them in the B&B. It seems to go better between Tibo and Franky, but Simonne senses there is something. When Franky reads the note Thomas left for at the Frens and thinks he gave him false hope. Tim gets a letter from Femke, but doesn't want to read it. Kurt goes to Mayra for a gold ring for his mother. She will make a design for him.

Julia tells Stoop about Luc and Lowie. How Luc had to miss his son for many years and that their renewed contact was very difficult. After a while they found each other, but after Leontien's letter it all went bad. Stoop asks her if Luc could have provoked Lowie into hitting him. Julia confirms this. The judge tells Lowie he can go home under certain conditions, but he's not allowed to see his father. When Marianne and Geert drop off Sandrine at the B&B. Waldek persuades Geert to have a small drink. Marianne doesn't like it at all they have to be there longer than necessary. At the Frens it's karaoke night and Ann and Mayra have a fun time.

Lowie learns it's due to Luc he's allowed to go home early. He's angry, because this way he will never get rid of Luc. Julia tells Luc Lowie is not allowed to see him, but he also absolutely doesn't want it. This hurts Luc very much, because he doesn't want to loose his son again. Julia tells him he's a bad father, because he screwed up badly and lost both her and Lowie in the process. This hurts him even more. Simonne is bad tempered, because they're losing customers due to Peggy's lack of duty. Peggy sees it differently. She thinks Simonne is busy trying to get the money together for Frank, while she and the rest of drivers have a life besides work. Thomas tries it on with Franky again who says he just can't. Julia has to say no to Rosa and Jenny's offer. Britney has a fever.

Luc can go home today, but Julia won't help him. He still loves her and wants to change for her and Lowie with her help. She can't take his lies and cheating anymore. She can't live with someone who has the death of an unborn child on his conscience. Lowie has to do community service. The judge says he should be very glad with a father like Luc, because not many fathers would forgive him for an act like that. He also has to reconcile with his father. Lowie is boiling inside, but has to stay calm. Kurt chooses a design for the gold ring for his mother. Stan wants to drop Latin. Judith wants him to continue until Christmas before making a decision, but Kurt already signed the necessary papers at school. When Tibo wants to tell Franky he has a new job, he just catches him at the Frens when he's saying goodbye to Thomas with a kiss.

Lowie absolutely refuses to live with his father. Luc doesn't want to push him. He pleads with Julia to help him change. She tells him she helped Lowie after he hit Luc. She hid the wrench to protect Lowie and to get rid of Luc. He thanks her for helping Lowie and knows he lost her. Later that day Lowie brings him the box Luc gave him for his birthday. Luc realizes he lost everything now and breaks. It's very busy at the B&B and the taxis. Rosa asks Waldek to help her at the B&B. He'll only do this once. Frank will probably be held responsible for Jack's death, because he signed all the papers, although Luc gave the order to place the boiler.

When the winter comes, they'll have more time. Judith catches Emma with some friends at the Frens and commands her home. Tim and Jens have fun at a concert in Amsterdam.

At the trial Luc finally confesses everything. The judge asks him why he's so late with his statement. Luc explains he loses more when he keeps quiet then when he tells the truth. Although he confessed everything now, nobody forgives him. Lowie is angry, because he thinks Luc just wants to play the hero. Julia is impressed he told the truth in open court, because he probably finally wants to take responsibility. Eddy and Nancy think this is a moment to celebrate. Geert and Waldek end up playing cards, while Waldek promised Rosa to watch the bar. She's far from happy with him. Judith and Emma have a big quarrel over the fact Emma didn't study but went to the Frens instead. Tim is angry Femke send him a letter. He certainly doesn't want to read it.

She enjoys working at the B&B and they'll have time when it slows down again. Julia decides to work for Jenny and Rosa after all. They're very happy with her decision. Peggy is not happy with Simonne at all. She took a lot of time off, while they had to cancel rides and had a lot more work. Tibo wants to divorce Franky.

Judith is not happy with Luc as a patient who has heavy headaches. She can see he has genuine regrets when he tells her the headaches aren't as bad as the fact he has to live with what he has done for the rest of his life. Nancy doesn't hold back when she sees him. It touches him very deep. Jenny and Rosa are very satisfied with Julia on their team. Lowie asks if he can cook with Julia more, because he did that a lot with his mother. Franky tries to make amends with Tibo, but he doesn't want to listen. Simonne understands she asked too much of everyone and excuses herself. She comes home tired, while Frank hasn't done anything all day. He didn't even cook.

Luc is also found guilty of wrongful death and gets six month suspended, a fine of 2750 Euro and he has to pay 12.500 Euro to Jack's parents. Lowie thinks Luc only confessed to get him and Julia back. Luc tells him it isn't so, but Lowie can't see him as his father anymore. Luc is devastated. Jenny tries to proof they can do without Julia. Beata, Waldek's sister, calls him. She wants to sell their parents home in Poland. Waldek thinks about buying it. Kurt wants to help Mayra by advertising for her for a small percentage.

The customers are very satisfied with the service they get from Julia, but Jenny tells her they don't crawl for their customers. Julia thinks her attitude towards her is completely ridiculous.

This totally doesn't go well with Rosa after everything she went through with Marianne and they get into a heavy quarrel. Jenny now takes it out on Julia. Jenny tells her she won't leave because of her and she's not to take Leo from her. Julia and Leo are stunned by her words. Geert and Marianne leave for a little holiday. Mayra enjoys being with Sandrine more and more. Ann is very happy with her little family.

Julia decides to go back to work. The potential buyer is very enthusiastic about the place, but if he buys it, he wants to run it himself. Jens is prepared to give Emma guitar lessons.

Marianne discusses her plans to buy the grounds and buildings to help Jenny, but Geert is very much against it. Nancy doesn't like it at all that Julia is back at work. Franky and Tibo leave for their honeymoon to America.

Mayra thinks Ann is very selfish when she doesn't think it's good idea to have a baby. Ann just thinks she's realistic.

There are flowers on Jack's grave without a card. At Florke's grave Frank tells Simonne he's glad he will never see Luc again. When they're gone, Luc turns up and puts flowers on Florke's grave. Jenny is proud of her team. Julia, Nancy and she can finally work good together. Judith takes Emma's mobile away when she's provocative dressed, keeps texting and won't listen to her. Emma tells Jens she's already thirteen and doesn't need a protective mother. Jens can calm her down. When she's not back for diner, Judith is frantic. Tim still feels very guilty about what happened to Peggy. Doctor Verbruggen did some further tests on Peggy's eyes. The cornea of both eyes have been badly damaged as a result of the accident. The only way is a transplant, but that is very risky. She might stay blind for ever. Stan has a very good report, but Judith punishes Emma for her behavior of last week. She's not allowed TV, computer and guitar lessons for a week. Nancy gets scared when a motorcyclist asks for directions. Julia thinks she should ask professional help for her fear.

Peggy is in shock after the doctor tells her it's possible she will never see again. Tim wants to visit Peggy, but she gets frantic when he enters her room. Tim reads another letter from Femke in which she tells him she's still pregnant. He feels angry, frustrated and helpless. He has to take his mind of things and takes some girl from the Frens home. Marianne and Geert are back from holiday. Emma secretly goes on Facebook while Judith forbade her. Jenny finally tells Rosa that Marianne will be the new owner. Rosa is angry because Jenny decided this behind her back.

Tim doesn't care about Marily. He has too much to think about now. He still feels responsible for Peggy and he can't let go that Femke is still pregnant. Marianne tells Jenny and Rosa she made an offer last week, but someone else offered more for the buildings and grounds. Waldek doesn't like the trip to Poland is off, because of Peggy's accident. Peter can't concentrate on work and stays with Peggy. The doctor gives them information about a blind institute, but Peggy doesn't want to know about it. Emma makes breakfast and is very cooperative with Judith. Judith tells her she can take guitar lessons with Jens again tomorrow. Paulien gets a job at the Frens.

Lowie feels he's too much between Julia and Paulien. He misses his mother. Ann proposes to Peter she goes by Peggy with Sandrine. When they're at the hospital, Sandrine gets scared when she sees the patches on Peggy's eyes. She wants to leave immediately. Peggy blames Peter for this fiasco and pushes everyone away who tries to help her. Personally Marianne is relieved the new owner of the B&B outbid her. It would only mean more tensions.

Everyone is very anxious to meet the new owner of the buildings and grounds of the B&B. They are all stunned when it seems to be Luc. Julia asks Paulien to be a bit more friendly towards Lowie because of all he had to go through. She understands and gives Lowie a big picture of him and his mother, so to excuse herself. He's very moved by this. Peggy calls Ann to apologize for yesterday and asks if they can bring Sandrine around again. This time they're a bit more prepared and it goes well. Tim finally wrote a letter to Femke and asks Nancy to take it to her. Toon and Frank differ in opinion about the problems with the plumbing at the B&B. Sam will take a personal look at it coming Monday.
