S18.E1 ∙ Episode #18.1

When Kasper wants to hand over the money to Roy, he sees Simonne lying on the ground. He gives the money to Roy and stays with Simonne until Luc comes by, while he was searching for her. He stays with Simonne and sends Kasper inside to fetch Franky and Frank. There goes Kasper's plans to flee. Tibo takes a hit on Bram when he finds him together with Jana. He even gets more angry when he finds out Franky also knew about it. But when Simonne is rushed to hospital, they have something else to focus on. Luc takes a distraught Julia home after her best friend was victim of the hit and run. She would like him to stay and he loves to stay. Jana can't approve her father's reaction towards Bram, but they both want to continue there relationship. Rosa discovers the money from the wedding has gone and Waldek figures out it was Kasper. He doesn't deny it. Femke learns from Leo what happened to Simonne. Now she knows what the bump was she felt in the car earlier that night. David is also rushed to hospital after Marianne phoned Ann and the emergency services. He had a heart attack and is operated on at once. Ann asks Marianne if there is something she should know about David and her. Marianne says there is nothing.

Luc explains to Guy what happened to Simonne. Luc admits he was with Julia that night, because she didn't want to be alone. But all they did was talk. Julia is alone in the kitchen at the Noorderzon and it's very busy. Luc supposes he helps her. Peggy is impressed when the midday rush is done. When Luc has a quiet word with Julia, Guy steps in the Noorderzon and sees them together. He leaves immediately. David tells Mayra he wants to leave the hospital as soon as possible, because he found the love of his life. When Mayra hears it's Marianne, she can't believe it. Mayra is absolutely against it, but David won't listen to reason. When Ann pushes a little, Marianne confesses she went to bed with David last night. Ann thinks she went to far. Marianne says it was a one off and she doesn't want to be unfaithful to Geert. When Geert tells Marianne they should visit David in hospital, Marianne doesn't say much. Rosa wants to go to the police after Kasper has told them everything. Waldek thinks that's a bad idea and tries to trust Kasper again, but Rosa is past that point. Bram comes to get his installation back. When he also wants to take the money from the wedding with him, Rosa and Waldek are startled. Simonne is kept in a coma to relieve her pain. She's stable and they all hope for the best.

When Luc tells Guy he just helps Julia as a friend, because she has it difficult at the moment, Guy isn't convinced. After Luc and Julia clean up the Noorderzon just before closing, he makes advances toward her. They end up in a passionate kiss. Paulien and Julia look through the wedding photo's she took. They get a fright when they discover a photo where Guy is looking in through the window. David tells Mayra he's very sure Marianne chose him over Geert and he feels reborn knowing this. Geert and Marianne visit David in hospital, but she doesn't say much. The swelling in Simonne's head has gone down. But when Frank is with her, suddenly all the machines surrounding her start to beep and he's ordered out of the room. Femke confesses to Nancy she accidentally ran Simonne down, but she didn't know it at the time. Tim tells Ann the police found out Femke used the prescription book which was stolen. Ann needs to talk to Femke before she makes a decision. Bram wants to take the money from the wedding with him, but Waldek tells him he took it to the bank and they will collect it later.

When Luc visits Julia in the morning, he sees the picture with Guy, which frightened Julia and Paulien so much. Luc thinks Guy might have been the one who ran down Simonne. Tim gets a call. There might be a breakthrough in the hit and run of Simonne. He goes to Guy and demands to inspect his car. Simonne had an emergency operation on her pelvis, but it all went very well. Franky, Frank en Tibo are very relieved. Waldek and Rosa differ in opinion about Kasper. Rosa wants to go to the police, but Waldek doesn't. Rosa tells Peggy about Kasper stealing the money. Frank collects the money from the wedding, but he doesn't know Peggy lend Kasper the money. Kasper promises Peggy he will pay her back with honest earned money. There is a lot of tension at the breakfast table with Marianne, Ann, Mayra and Geert. But Geert is the only one who doesn't notice it. Ann demands from Femke she takes a prescription to kick her habit and see a psychologist or she will file an official complaint against her. Nancy admits she took the prescription book. For Geert this is a very serious matter and to everyones surprise he fires her.

Guy tells Luc he knows Luc called the police and he wants him to acknowledge he has something with Julia. Luc tells him Julia chose him over Guy and he should accept that. Luc also wants the keys to his apartment back. Simonne finally wakes up and when Frank asks her who ran her down, she whispers Guy's name. Tim takes Guy with him for further questioning. The doctor tells Frank, Simonne might not be able to walk normal again. Nancy is depressed now she lost her job. Eddy thinks she doesn't need to clean anymore, because his beer will sell very well anyway and their money problems will be over. Ann and Mayra think Geert was far too harsh on Nancy, but Geert says Nancy betrayed their trust and this situation is too serious to keep her on. David leaves the hospital, but Mayra doesn't want to leave him on his own and takes him to Marianne's house where she can keep an eye on him. Tibo wants Bram to finish his relationship with Jana. But Jana and Bram feel too much for each other to give it up.

Tim inspects the van of Sanitechniek to see if Guy might have driven it the night Simonne was hit. Luc thinks Tim is very driven to get Guy. Tim tells him he had to let Guy go once. There won't be a second time. Guy's lawyer also thinks Tim is far too focused on Guy while there is no evidence. There is only Simonne's testimony, but she can't remember exactly what happened. Franky and Frank can't find the courage to tell Simonne there is a possibility she might never walk again. Franky tells Femke the situation with Simonne. Femke feels guilty and can't keep quiet anymore. She tells Tim she drove into Simonne. Now Frank can't help Waldek, he has to cancel a job. Kasper says he will help him, so he can earn money to pay back Peggy. Rosa still finds it hard to trust Kasper again, but Waldek gives him a chance. David finds it hard to keep his diet and Ann thinks it might be better for him to rehabilitate in a clinic down by the sea. She also doesn't like it he is so close to Marianne, although she says there is nothing between them anymore. Mayra agrees with Ann, but now they have to tell David.

Tim takes Femke to the police station to make an official statement she ran Simonne down. So Guy is free again. Tim tells him he will keep his eyes on him. Guy is not impressed. He goes to the B&B and asks Jenny and Rosa for a room. In the mean it goes around very quickly Femke ran down Simonne. Nancy asks Marianne to arrange a lawyer for Femke, because she has no idea how to arrange that. David absolutely doesn't want to go to a rehabilitation center. Ann asks Geert to talk to him. He doesn't see why his friend has to go away when they have a perfect eye on him when he's in their house. Marianne tells David that what they had was beautiful, but it has to stop now. David doesn't see why it has to stop. Tibo is angry with Bram and threatens to make an official complaint against him for having sex with a minor. Jana gets angry with Tibo and runs away.

Although Guy is a model guest at the B&B, he's not treated like the other guests. Mayra also doesn't like it he stays there. Luc is very surprised when Guy turns up at work. They argue about Julia. Guy thinks that if Luc wouldn't have come between them, he and Julia would still be a couple. Luc tells him Julia doesn't have any feelings for Guy anymore, otherwise Luc would never have started anything with her. He also tells Guy they're officially a couple now and Guy has to accept that. Paulien has plans to study in America. She needs EUR 10.000 for it, but Julia doesn't have that kind of money. Franky tries to stay neutral in the conflict between Tibo and Bram, but it's not easy. Even Ellen thinks Tibo has gone too far when she learns he's thinking about making an official complaint against Bram. Marianne tells Ann she doesn't need to worry about her and David. It's over. Ann wants to know why she cheated on Geert. She had feelings she hasn't felt for years. Just a lust for life again. Ann wants David out of the house as soon as possible, but Marianne says there is no need. When David is alone with Marianne in the kitchen, he tries to kiss her just as Ann walks in. Ann has enough and talks to Mayra. This way they find out they both knew already what happened between Marianne and David. Femke is out on bail.

Julia tells Luc Paulien wants to study in America, but she doesn't have the money. Luc proposes he lends the money to Paulien, but Julia has her doubts. Katrien tells Julia Paulien is a free spirit and she probably would be very unhappy staying in Belgium. Julia sees her point and allows Paulien to go. Ann and Mayra have a quarrel about Marianne and David. Geert still doesn't know anything. Mayra tells David she won't risk her own relationship for him. He must take a decision. Marianne catches David eating cheese, which is not on his diet. She almost lost him last time, she doesn't want to go through that again. David thinks she made a choice and kisses her. She doesn't stop him. They want to start a meeting about the brewery, but Frank isn't there. Then David and Waldek are called away, which only leaves Geert and Eddy. This way they can't have a meeting at all. An old client of Kasper wants to buy coke of him, but he says he quit and doesn't have anything. Ellen and Tibo forbid Jana to see Bram again. Jana wants to elope with Bram to France, but Bram doesn't see this as a solution. Frank can't handle the situation anymore. Franky and Yvette try to help him. Leo fires Femke.

Jana is missing. Bram tells Tibo and Ellen Jana wanted to flee to France with him, but he didn't want to. When Bram sees Guy, he attacks him, because he thinks Guy has something to do with Jana's disappearance. Guy gets angry. He's not responsible for everything wrong that happens. In the end Bram tracks Jana down and talks her out of leaving and takes her back home. Marianne doesn't feel right about cheating on Geert. David wants to be honest with everyone about their relationship, but Marianne doesn't want to hurt Geert. David wants Marianne to take a decision on their relationship. He wants to move back into the B&B until she makes a decision. Kasper gives Peggy back a part of the loan from his first salary. Steurs calls Kasper, but he doesn't want to talk to him. Frank finally tells Simonne she has a tough rehabilitation to go through. This scares her. Geert arranges a lawyer for Simonne and Frank.

Guy tells David Luc was the only one who believed in him after he was arrested and helped him after he was released. But now Luc stole Julia from him, who was the only one who kept him going. Luc tells Franky Guy realizes he and Julia are a couple now and accepts it. Franky and Yvette try to help Frank who just can't think straight at the moment. There is a lot of tension between Tibo and Bram about Jana, which also causes tension between Franky and Tibo. Julia goes to Simonne to cheer her up. Finally Simonne can show her real feelings, because she didn't want to let herself go with Frank at her side. She's scared she will never walk again. Femke goes to Peggy to ask for her old job back at the Noorderzon. When Julia hears this, she tells Peggy if she hires Femke, she will resign. Geert asks why David has gone. Mayra comes up with an excuse. Marianne tells Ann and Mayra it's definitely over between her and David. Leo wants to install security camera's in the B&B. Waldek only agrees when Kasper can work for him.

Peggy doesn't want to lose Julia, so she doesn't hire Femke. Luc comes back from the Noorderzon with a wrap he got from Julia and boasts with it. Guy can't stand it and leaves. Guy goes to Julia and tells her she will never be happy with Luc or have what they had together in the past. Julia is scared and doesn't contradict him. That evening Julia tells Luc about Guy. He immediately wants to go to him, but Julia doesn't let him. Geert wants to go to the sea with Marianne and Sandrine, but she seems busier with a new cleaner. They argue about Nancy. Geert doesn't want her back, because she broke their trust. Ann gets angry with Marianne, because she knows there is more to it than just Nancy, but Marianne doesn't want to admit it. Roy looks up Kasper and tells him his boss wants Kasper to work for him, but Kasper doesn't want to do it anymore. Simonne is out of bed for the first time since the accident, but it's very tiring. Franky is glad he and Tibo finally have an evening alone together in the house. Tim comforts Femke after she feels very down for not getting the job at the Noorderzon.

As soon as Guy comes in to work, Luc hands over his discharge papers. Guy is totally surprised when Luc tells him he should leave Julia alone and he shouldn't have hired Guy back, because he's not to be trusted. Guy doesn't take this and punches Luc. David still hasn't given Rosa his diet instructions which he must follow. There is a cold war going on between Geert and Marianne. Marianne goes to Nancy at the B&B and asks her to come back and work for her. Nancy needs to think about it. She doesn't show it to Marianne, but she's very glad she's asked back. When Marianne wants to go, she bumps into David. He kisses her hand in what they think an empty B&B. They don't know they're observed by the newly installed security cameras. And so Rosa and Jenny accidentally see it. Katrien and Tim prepare a surprise party for Paulien. Eddy is not happy with the way things go with the brewery. Everyone seems to be busier with other things and they can't make decisions this way. Tim stays with Femke, who wants him to leave at first. But at the end of the day she finally calms down.

Guy tells David it's very unfair of Luc to fire him. He was just over Julia and tried to pick up his life again. Tim comes by and tells Guy very friendly he'd better stay away from the Noorderzon and Sanitechniek. Rosa sees this and warns Guy. If the police comes by once more for him, he has to leave. Julia tells Luc she asked Tim to give Guy an official warning, so he would leave them finally alone. At Paulien's farewell party she gets an extra surprise. Jens is back. Rosa thinks David and Marianne are having a fling, but Jenny can't believe it and wants to ask her first. Ann gets to know Marianne asked Nancy back. She thinks it's not about Nancy at all. Marianne gets angry with her and tells her it's her love life and not Ann's. Nancy tells Eddy Marianne wants her back, but Eddy says she doesn't have to work at all, because his brewery will make a lot of money anyway. Kasper gets a text from the gang. They ask him if he wants to join again. Kasper tells them no. Ellen tells Tibo, Jana is sick with heartache over Bram. Franky also tells Tibo he shouldn't be too harsh on them.

Julia visits Simonne in hospital together with Luc. Simonne and Frank warn her not to get involved with Luc, because of past experiences. Julia says she takes it one step at the time, but she feels good with him. Luc swears he means it serious with Julia and will prove it he's changed. Paulien is leaving today for America. Julia finds it very hard to let her go. Their goodbye is hard on the both of them. Luc comforts Julia after Paulien is finally gone. Simonne gets good news. She can go home Monday. Roy pays Kasper a personal visit and asks him again to join their gang. Kasper keeps telling him no. Later that day Kasper's cat is found dead in the courtyard and he gets a text saying the next time it's him. Tibo finally gives in and allows Bram and Jana to see each other on certain conditions. Marianne admits to Jenny she's in love with David, but she doesn't want to hurt Geert either. Jenny warns her about the security cameras, but she doesn't say Rosa also knows about her and David. Femke gets a new job. Cleaner at Marianne's house. It seems Geert phoned the employment agency again. Tim finds out from a police report, Femke had cocaine in her blood when she turned herself in.

Kasper tells Rosa and Waldek his cat was poisoned by the gang. Then he tells them everything about them wanting him back. Rosa phones the police right away. Kasper tells everything he's been doing since he's back to the police. And he tells them everything he knows about Roy and Benny. He even has the number plate of Roy's car and they have a picture of him thanks to the security camera's. Roy and Benny want to make another visit to the B&B, but see the police car and turn round. Jens wants to start his life back again and to him Guy is a closed chapter. Simonne is back home and although everyone is happy she's back, it feels very strange to her. Tim asks Femke about the cocaine. She says she's not addicted, but just used it when things got a bit too much. And she doesn't use it anymore. Marianne and Geert are still arguing about who should clean the house. Nancy or Femke.

Katrien goes with Jens and some friends on a pub-crawl, which gives Luc the idea of asking Julia out for a night on the town. When they come home late that evening, it seems Katrien isn't home yet. Luc wants to be gallant and wants to go, but to Julia he doesn't need to be so gallant. This says enough to him and he stays the night. The police ask Kasper to help them catch Roy and Benny. He has to tell them he's interested in their gang after all and make an appointment to meet them. Kasper wants to help and sends a text to the gang. Peter and Peggy enjoy a day with Sandrine. Nancy offers her place to Femke, which makes a temporary stop to the fight between Marianne and Geert, but not to Marianne's satisfaction. David and Marianne go out and have a great time. When she comes home she tells Geert she went out with Jenny. He needs to get away from everything and since she clearly doesn't want to get away with him, he decides to go on his own with the B-Fast team to Spa.

Julia tells Simonne she went to bed with Luc for the first time that night. Simonne tells her she deserves so much better than him and warns her again. But Julia never had a more gallant lover than Luc. He's very good to her and she feels good with him. As long as Julia doesn't want to tell Katrien about their relationship, Luc won't tell her either. When Kasper phones the gang, because he hasn't heard from them since he send them the text, their phone is disconnected. Now he's really stressed out. During the brewery meeting at the B&B a beautiful woman enters. She takes all the men's attention. In the mean time Roy sneaks into the kitchen and puts a small box in a drawer in the kitchen. Bram reports sick to Franky and so does Jana at school. They have a nice day out. Marianne asks Jenny if she wants to lie for her against Geert. When Geert asks Jenny about her day out with Marianne, she confirms it. Guy tells Mayra he put his child wish aside for her, because he'd rather live with her without a child than without her.

Katrien notices Julia is a lot happier nowadays, but she still doesn't know about her and Luc. The police think the gang already hired someone else instead of Kasper and he doesn't need to worry anymore. When Ann comes to collect Sandrine, she finds her in the kitchen tasting some cocaine from a box she found in a drawer. They all get a big scare. Geert tells David he's going away for a few days, because of the situation with Marianne. Ann thinks Marianne needs to learn to appreciate Geert again. She still thinks it's over between David and Marianne, but Mayra discovers the opposite and is angry with her father about it. Ann thinks Guy just wants attention from Mayra and that's why he said what he said. Guy wants to find a new job. As a plumber he won't find anything because of Luc, so he has to try something else. Simonne finds the rehabilitation very hard and painful and doesn't want to do it anymore. Eddy gets his first commission from the brewery.

Ann thinks Kasper is still dealing cocaine and phones the police, but someone unknown was first. Kasper swears to everyone the drugs aren't his and he certainly wouldn't hide it in the kitchen in the first place. The police search the B&B and don't find anymore. They think the beautiful woman acted as a decoy and the gang tried to put Kasper in a bad light. Ann doesn't trust it anymore and revokes Peggy's visiting rights. This comes as a total blow to her. Ellen finds out Jana skipped school to be with Bram. She's grounded. Ellen also tells Tibo and he's very angry with Bram about it. David and Marianne meet somewhere out. She can't handle the whole situation anymore and decides to talk to Geert when he comes back. Guy can't find a new job and asks David if he can help at the brewery, but there is not enough work for two. Julia tries to cheer up Simonne when she's at her lowest. Her whole body hurts. Jens thinks of a new project. His parents will finance him.

They don't have enough manpower at Sanitechniek and Julia proposes Luc hires Frank and Waldek again. Not only to solve Sanitechniek's problems, but also for Luc to show some goodwill towards Simonne and Frank. Luc can't refuse Julia anything and he will think about it. David hopes he will have Marianne in his arms soon when she tells Geert about them. When Geert comes back, he tells Marianne he came to a conclusion. He still loves her very much and he doesn't want any more fights and start doing things together again. This surprises her and she doesn't tell him about David which she intended to do. Peggy is still devastated she's not allowed to see Sandrine. She blames Kasper and wants him out. Rosa and Waldek say he was framed. Peggy doesn't care. Nancy overhears a conversation between Tim and Rosa and Waldek and shoots her mouth off by saying Kasper sold Femke cocaine. Guy doesn't see much future for himself. He tells Mayra it hurts him seeing her together with Sandrine. She tells him not to bother her again and walks away.

Mayra tells Ann, David and Marianne are still seeing each other. David gives Marianne a poem which describes his feelings for her. When she wants to read it at home, Geert suddenly comes in. She tells him it's from Walter, her late husband. She just found it when she was clearing out a drawer. Geert would like to keep it a little, so he can understand better what Walter was like. Later that day Geert asks Ann if she recognizes the poem. She says it was her father's favorite poem. Ann is very angry with Marianne for making her lie to Geert. Peggy thinks it's very unfair she gets punished for something she could do nothing about. Peter has more bad news for her. Axel, the one who stalked and raped her, is out on bail. Rosa and Waldek have problems trusting Kasper again when they find out he sold cocaine to Femke under their roof. Femke is sentenced for driving into Simonne: her driver's license is revoked for six months, 100 hours community service, a fine of 2500 Euro and a suspended sentence of six months.

Geert apologizes to Marianne for thinking she had someone at the side after reading the poem. Marianne doesn't know what to say after his confession. Marianne tells Jenny she has no idea what to do anymore. Jenny thinks deep down Marianne already knows what she should do. In the end Marianne tells David she chooses Geert after all, because he's a part of her and her family. And her family comes first. Always. Peggy doesn't feel safe anymore and secretly buys pepper spray on the Internet. Peggy pleads to Ann to think again about her visiting rights. But Ann has made her mind up and she doesn't allow Peggy to see Sandrine anymore. Rosa tells Peggy they might have something to change Ann's mind. They still have the tapes with David and Marianne on it. Jens helps Julia out at the Noorderzon when it gets a bit busy. Bram doesn't like it at all he can only see Jana under Ellen's supervision.

Guy is frustrated when Waldek tells him he can't work for him. Marianne excuses herself to Geert for the way she acted lately. He understands. David tells Mayra it's over between him and Marianne. He respects her decision and will focus on the brewery from now on. When Ann hears about this, she finally starts to believe it's over between David and Marianne. Peggy goes to Marianne and tells her to plead with Ann for her visiting rights or she will show Geert the pictures of her and David at the B&B. Marianne talks about it with Ann, but she won't budge. Kasper notices the images of David and Marianne are overwritten by the security camera's. Peggy blames Kasper for this, but it's just how the system works. Kasper feels he's too much. He pinches the keys of the safe of the Noorderzon and steals money. When he's ready to leave the B&B for good, Waldek pleads with him not to run away. He will be there for him always. Eddy has bought a lot of electronic equipment with the money he just got.

Mayra tells Guy she sometimes forget he also has a good side. She hopes for him people will give him a second chance, because he deserves it. She also hopes Guy will leave her alone from now on. Guy feels a lot better now and tells David old love never dies. Eddy asks David for another advance on the sales he made, but they have to sell the beer first. Eddy decides to buy more electronic equipment on account. The exercises still hurt Simonne a lot. Rosa and Peggy don't intend to tell Marianne the tapes are erased of her and David and put more pressure on her. Peggy receives the pepper spray she ordered. At the Noorderzon they discover the safe is empty. Peggy thinks Axel did it and gets really scared. Waldek and Kasper get good news. The gang is caught and they confessed to everything. Kasper decides to stay and wants to return the money to the safe at the Noorderzon secretly after working hours. He doesn't know Peggy is still there. When she hears footsteps coming down the stairs, she uses the pepper spray. Kasper falls badly down the last few steps and is bleeding heavily.

Kasper has a hemorrhage, his brain stem is badly damaged and he doesn't respond at external stimulants. Waldek and Rosa have to prepare for the worst. Peggy tells the police she thought it was Axel who came to the Noorderzon. She was very surprised it was Kasper and she never meant for him to fall down the stairs. When Waldek talks to Kasper and holds his hand, Kasper suddenly squeezes Waldek's hand a little. Guy and Mayra reminisce about the time they were married. David interrupts and asks Mayra if he can help her for a moment. When they're alone, he tells her she should be aware of Guy, because last week he said to him: old love never dies. He might think after all he has lost and not getting a second chance, there is still a change Mayra might come back to him. Geert and Marianne find each other again and think of going away for a few days together. Eddy wants to organize the money a little better and asks Nancy to marry him, because it's deductible. Nancy absolutely doesn't want to marry him if he only considers her to be deductible.

The reflexes from Kasper were only coming from an unaware level in his brain. Specialists test him and have to conclude there is no brain-activity anymore. Kasper is officially brain dead. Waldek and Rosa are devastated. Guy has a job interview and asks Mayra to tie his necktie, because she always used to do it. She tells him again it's over between them and he should accept it. Leo needs a new driver for his taxi's. Guy hears this and tells Leo he could start immediately. During the brewers meeting Eddy asks how to be romantic in connection with asking Nancy to marry him. Geert thinks he should be poetic and recites Marianne's poem. To David it's a bit too much and he leaves. Geert thinks this is a bit strange. He asks Marianne to talk to him to see what's wrong with him. Mayra tells Marianne to think about what she caused by first falling in love with David and now going back to Geert. David is dying inside. Femke is going to work at Winterlicht and Geert proposes Nancy comes back to clean with them. Nancy is delighted.

Belgian law states: everyone is a donor unless the family is against it. Geert asks Waldek and Rosa if they have objections. Rosa absolutely doesn't want anyone cutting into her son. Waldek meets Max in the hospital lobby. A young boy who is getting a new kidney. Without one, he would have died within six months. When Rosa hears about this, she changes her mind. Peggy is too upset to go to work. To Julia and Katrien's surprise, Jens takes the lead at the Noorderzon. Leo wants to hire Guy although Mayra is very much against it. Guy is exited when he hears it and wants to celebrate with Mayra they're becoming colleagues. Mayra absolutely doesn't want that. Guy needs a medical test first and goes to Ann. She'd rather he would go to Geert, but he wants it done now. While Jana is doing her homework, Bram is bored. He can't take her out, because she's still grounded. He starts to think about their age difference, but Franky thinks that's just all in his head. The difference between him and Tibo is even greater, but they're very happy together.

Julia and Luc visit Simonne. Luc sees Frank ironing and gives him some friendly advise. Frank finally seems to start accepting Luc again. Simonne bought some trousers for Frank on the Internet, but they look a bit too small. She thinks she's no good for anything anymore. The rest all try to cheer her up with joking around Frank's new trousers. Rosa pleads with Waldek to let Peggy say goodbye to Kasper. Otherwise she can never give her brother's death a place inside herself. He lets Peggy say goodbye, but he doesn't want to see her. Peggy is in a flood of tears when she says her final goodbye to Kasper. When the hour is finally there, it's very hard on everyone seeing Kasper for the last time. Guy threatens Ann. He knows she will never make Mayra happy and she will never come between him and Mayra. Ann and Mayra tell Leo what happened. Later Leo tells Guy, he can't hire him. Guy knows Mayra and Ann talked to him. When he sees Mayra, he tells her they will become a couple again. Mayra tells him once and for all, he should leave them alone.

David advises Guy to start somewhere else anew. Guy is angry, because he thinks David also wants him to leave. Later Jenny finds out Guy's room is empty. When Rosa delivers the mourning-cards in the neighborhood, she sees Geert, Marianne and Sandrine. This is too much for her. While her family is falling apart, Marianne's seems to be perfect. When she sees Geert, Rosa tells him he should be careful of people who take advantage of his good nature. When Geert toasts on forbidden love with David and Marianne, their reactions tell him enough. In spite of Marianne telling him it's over between her and David and begging him to stay, Geert packs a suitcase and leaves. Jens is feeling good running the Noorderzon in Peggy's absence. Katrien asks Tim to find out if Jens has a love. Jens tells Tim he has no-one, but he's not interested in Katrien in the way she thinks. When Eddy asks Nancy, in the middle of a heart of candles he made on the lawn, to marry him, she finally says yes. Tibo and Franky are on holiday to Lissabon.

Marianne tells Ann, Geert knows about her and David and left. She blames Ann, because if she let Peggy see Sandrine, this wouldn't have happened. Ann gets angry. Marianne was in the wrong, not her. Marianne understands she went too far. When Geert comes in for his consulting-hours, he's also angry with Ann. Everyone knew about the relationship between David and Marianne. He was the only one who didn't. He feels very insulted. Rosa confesses to Jenny she told Geert, but to Rosa this isn't enough. Marianne should feel how she feels right now. Although Peter thinks she's not ready for it, Peggy wants to go to work. When she starts working at the Noorderzon, it suddenly gets too much and she runs away. Guy has gone. Nobody knows where he is, but they're all glad he's gone. Yvette is busy in the kitchen with the soup until Simonne hears a big crash and a shout.

Yvette accidentally drops a pan with boiling soup and burns her hands. At the first aid they determine it's a second-degree burn and for the time being she can't do much with her hands. Peggy comes back to the Noorderzon and explains to Julia she still has it hard when she sees the stairs on which Kasper fell. Julia advises her to go home and rest. Marianne tells Ann she's very sorry for what happened, but it's all Peggy's fault. Ann is still angry with her and says it's her own fault. When Marianne sees Peggy she says she will never see Sandrine again. Rosa confesses to Peggy she told Geert. Now Peggy is angry with Rosa, because she probably won't see Sandrine ever again. At the brewery-meeting it's a cold war between David and Geert. Katrien accidentally spills some food on Jens when he helps at the Noorderzon. That evening she brings him a new t-shirt. Eddy and Nancy set a date for their wedding.

Julia comes to Sanitechniek, because she misses Luc. He has to make up arrears at the office, but as soon as he can he wants to take her another date. Franky and Tibo are back from Lisbon and Bram has news for them. He found a house for himself. Tibo is delighted, but Franky will miss him. Bram also tells Jana the good news. When he's out of the room for a minute his mobile goes and she reads the text. Apparently Bram has been at the party he promised her he wouldn't go to. Marianne tries to talk to Geert, but he absolutely doesn't want to talk to her. According to him everything is said. Katrien admits to Julia she loves Jens, but she has no idea what to do next. Jens is absentminded at the Noorderzon. Katrien hears Tim say, he's probably still busy in his head with his love from his holidays. Katrien is surprised to hears this. It's Kasper's funeral today. Waldek still can't believe his son is gone forever and when Peggy says she wants to be a donor like Kasper was, he really gets angry with her.

Femke still wants to get on Simonne's good side and prepares some food for her. Nancy brings it to Simonne, but she absolutely doesn't want it and sends Nancy out the door. Simonne then is so angry, gets out of bed and tries to walk on her crutches. She falls and can't get up. Yvette can't get her up and gets Luc and Tibo from across the road. When Frank comes home, Simonne has gone with Tibo to the hospital. Luc tries to calm Frank down. Waldek blames Peggy totally for Kasper's death. She says she couldn't have known Kasper wanted to bring the money back. If he hadn't stolen it in the first place, nothing would have happened. To Peter she says she can't blame Waldek. She probably would have the same reaction. Marianne learns from Jenny it was Rosa who told Geert. Bram and Jana have a row about a party he went to, which Jana specifically asked him not to go. Katrien finally has the courage to tell Jens she's in love with him. He tells her, he thinks of her as a very good friend, but he's not in love with her. Embarrassed she quickly leaves his apartment.

Simonne is back home. Frank thinks Yvette can't be trusted to look after Simonne at the moment when he's not at home. He proposes Yvette goes to a nursing home for a little while. Katrien feels depressed. She still feels embarrassed over the fact she told Jens she loves him. Jens also doesn't feel too good about the situation and Julia advises him to talk to Katrien as soon as possible. Geert has calmed down a bit and talks to Ann again. She says she felt very badly about the fact she lied to him, but at that moment Marianne's relationship with David was over and she didn't want to hurt anybody. Rosa tells Waldek and Peggy to sort themselves out, because she doesn't want to choose between them. Rosa isn't sleeping well lately and goes to Geert. Marianne thinks she's come to ruin her marriage again and gives her a piece of her mind. To Geert this is over the top and he wants a divorce. When Marianne leaves the house, she doesn't see Guy lurking in the bushes nearby. Jana's house arrest is finally lifted.

Katrien starts at Winterlicht today and she's a bit nervous. Julia and Luc try to put her at ease and even Paulien calls from America. Katrien meets an old friend at Winterlicht. Madeleine. They get on right away. Julia misses Paulien and she thinks Katrien also might leave soon. Luc suggests she might take somebody in if she feels alone. Julia pretends she doesn't know what he means. Simonne doesn't like Frank's idea of moving Yvette to a home at all. Tibo thinks Frank might be right, but Franky doesn't agree at all. Simonne finds out from Julia, Frank asked Katrien if there was room for Yvette at Winterlicht and is furious. Marianne doesn't want to divorce at all and thinks about how to get Geert back. When Ann just went inside the house for a minute, someone broke into her car and stole her doctor's bag. Marianne wants to alert the police immediately. Geert doesn't trust David anymore and he wants him out with the brewers. Either David goes or he goes.

Simonne is still angry with Frank, but she has to admit the situation can't stay the way it is. Franky has made a rota of how he and Tibo can take care of Yvette and Simonne, but Tibo can't just take time off work. They all see this doesn't work anymore. But when they ask Yvette what she thinks about going to a home for just a while, she gets upset and tells them she absolutely doesn't want to go to a mental institution. Leo has problems with his stomach. He has to go to hospital to do some tests. Waldek is taking over the dispatch and Jenny asks him if he wants to do it a little longer now Leo is sick. He promises to do so. Guy calls Taxi Leo with a disguised voice and under a false name and asks for a taxi. Mayra drives to the house and walks up to the door. She doesn't see Guy hiding behind a tree with a knife in his hands. Bram wants to organize a party for Jana at the Noorderzon and Jens enjoys himself squeezing Bram for the money. At the brewery meeting David is voted out with two to one votes and he has to go.

Mayra is scared Guy stabbed the tires of her taxi and talks to David. He calls Guy. Guy says he works at a sawmill in Wallonia and is happy there. They don't see Guy tearing up photo's of him and Mayra. Ann tells Marianne, David had to leave the brewers, but he left his money in. Geert wouldn't have done that. Ann thinks Geert plays it very hard, almost cruel. Geert decides he will be leader of the brewers. Rosa wants to tidy up Kasper's room, but Waldek wants it left in the state it was. Geert tells Rosa it's a normal mourning process. He just needs time. Yvette notices how Simonne and Frank are struggling to run things, while she can't do anything with her hands still in bandages. She decides to go to the home after all. She has to share a room with Madeleine who isn't very keen on her. Yvette feels very alone. At the surprise party for Jana, Bram gets a phone-call from his landlord. The apartment he did up, will go to his son and since Bram didn't sign any contract, he can't claim anything. Tibo calls him a complete moron. Bram doesn't take this and hits him hard.

Franky is worried about Bram. He hasn't seem him since Jana's party where he left after he punched Tibo. Tibo thinks Franky is sticking up for Bram too much. Bram turns up at Sanitechniek and tells Luc what happened and that he's out of an apartment. Luc invites him to his home for the time being. Yesterday Jana took Tibo's side, but now she wants to make up with Bram, but he doesn't want to hear it anymore. Yvette has problems adjusting and she can't get along with Madeleine very well. They keep squabbling about everything. André, Madeleine's friend, welcomes Yvette and wants to get her a desert, which she missed at diner, much to Madeleine's dislike. Geert tells Rosa he wants a divorce. Rosa can't help smiling. Femke works at Marianne's, because Nancy is preparing her wedding. Guy has Ann's doctor's bag and puts a gun and a roll of tape in it. He watches Marianne's house from his car and sees Mayra and Tim going in. He thinks he's being seen by someone and moves the car to a more secure place and waits.

Guy waits until Ann goes into the house and follows her. There he threatens her with the gun. Tim and Femke hear noises, check it out and come face to face with Guy. Guy handcuffs Tim to a railing and takes Ann and Femke to the kitchen where Marianne, Mayra and Sandrine are. He locks up Marianne, Sandrine and Femke in the cellar. Mayra tries to calm him down and says despite all that happened, which was partly her fault, she still feels for him. When he kisses her, he notices she has no feelings for him at all. He gets very angry and hits her hard. Suddenly he hears a window crashing from the cellar. Ann and Mayra try to distract him. David finds out Guy doesn't work at the sawmill as he said and since Peter saw Guy in the street, they don't trust it and call the police. In the mean time Tim frees himself with a lot of effort and enters the kitchen where Guy is holding his gun on Ann and Mayra. Tim overpowers Guy and brings him outside where the police is waiting. Geert rushes to Ann and comforts her. He totally ignores Marianne who is also distraught.

Tibo apologizes to Bram about what he said at the party, but Bram doesn't want to talk about it. Luc wants Bram sorting things out, because the firm is suffering from his problems. Bram isn't impressed until Luc really gets very angry. He worked too hard to let the firm go down by a bunch of amateurs. Ann sends Sandrine to school, because it's better to get her back into routine. Peggy hears about what happened and tells Ann she doesn't like it at all Sandrine was put in danger. She wants to see her again or else. Marianne suddenly steps in. Tim is still a bit subdued. He has never shot at someone he knew before. Femke tries to comfort him. Leo's tests went well, but he needs to go on a diet and he needs to take it easy. He asks Waldek if he wants to drive for him again. Waldek has to talk to Frank first. Yvette gives Femke a lot of stick. Simonne tries a bit too hard to get well again, so Yvette can come back home again. Nancy booked a castle for their marriage and already payed an advance. Eddy is not happy with this.

Waldek explains to Frank he needs to be occupied and thinks about accepting Leo's offer to drive his taxi's. Frank thinks the beer will give them enough money in time. Simonne doesn't have faith in this, because it's difficult for him to get a job at his age. Julia hears of this and talks about it with Luc. This starts him thinking. Bram can't take it anymore. He can't think and he can't do his own thing. He tells Franky he wants to leave. Peggy tells Ann, like Ann didn't know Guy was going to be there, she didn't knew they put drugs in their house. She wants the visiting rights back. Marianne pushes Ann not to give in. Nancy is preparing a big wedding, but Eddy would rather have a small one. Katrien notices Madeleine has a high blood sugar level. Madeleine says she got a lot of fruit from Femke, which was not allowed. Katrien gives Femke a dressing down. Katrien thinks Tim will invite her for the police ball and is very cheerful, but Tim asks Femke. Marianne tells Geert he's punishing the whole family by acting like this. He tells her, she should have thought of that before.

Franky tells Luc, Bram doesn't say a word during work and since Waldek has gone back to driving taxis, his father will probably out of work and money soon. Luc also sees Jana breaking off with Bram and talks to him about his future. Bram thinks of leaving, but he has no money. Luc proposes he takes over his shares, so he will have money to start somewhere else. Peggy can't come to terms with the fact she won't see Sandrine again. Waldek tells Rosa he's driving for Leo again, so she will have more time to concentrate on her daughter. Rosa is angry with him for saying this. He's not the only one who suffers. He doesn't care. Waldek tells Peter he should move out with Peggy, because he can't stand her around him. Nancy wants a wedding planner to help her with the wedding. To Eddy this seems very expensive. Geert tells Marianne he's too busy with the brewery to arrange their divorce, but he certainly won't give up his divorce plans. Andre tells Yvette Madeleine has Alzheimer.

Tibo is making it hard on Bram again. At the end of the day Bram makes a decision. He's selling his shares to Luc, who is ecstatic. When Bram is gone, he immediately calls Frank. Luc asks him to work for Sanitechniek. Eddy can't get malt for the brewery. Something went wrong with the order. David gives him the address of another firm. Geert wants an explanation from Eddy why the production is so low. Eddy tells him what he just heard from David, but doesn't mention his name. Rosa and Waldek have a quarrel about Peggy again. Waldek and Geert understand each other feelings. They went through the same. They realize they need to learn to forgive. Mayra has to disappoint David, because they can't have there outing. She already made arrangements with Ann. David understands and doesn't blame her. Madeleine wants to go shopping and asks Femke to get her some money out of an envelope out of her closet. Femke goes to the police ball with Tim with a dress arranged by Marianne.

Simonne pushes Frank a bit to take on Luc's offer to work for him again. She would feel better if Frank had a good job again. Franky has a new game and invites Bram to play it with him. Bram consents. Bram asks Luc not to say anything to Franky he's leaving. Bram says goodbye to Simonne, who tries to stop him, but his mind is made up. Franky finds a farewell letter from Bram. Mayra thinks there is something behind David's words from yesterday. It sounded a bit like a goodbye. It's all getting too much for Peggy and to Jens and Julia's surprise, she wants to quit with the Noorderzon. She wants to sell it. Madeleine searches her money, but can't find it at the usual place in the cupboard. They search the whole room, but can't find anything. Madeleine remembers Femke knew about her money in the cupboard.

Julia and Jens try to talk Peggy out of selling the Noorderzon, but to her it's a closed chapter. Every time she's there, she sees Kasper lying on the stairs. It's like a film in her head. Franky just doesn't understand why Bram suddenly left. Waldek thinks nobody understands his grief for Kasper. Marianne shows the police the receipt of Femke's dress. This means Femke had no reason to steal Madeleine's money which is still missing. Marianne and Sandrine go to the sea. Geert says goodbye to Sandrine, but still ignores Marianne completely. Eddy tastes the beer which is meant for the new clients in Germany, but it tastes like vinegar. Nancy tells him just to bottle it and send it to Germany and cash in. But Geert and Frank come by and taste the new batch.

Geert quickly concludes David must have sabotaged their last batch. When Geert sits with David in the B&B, he accuses him of sabotaging their beer. Nancy has a new credit card and thinks she can buy everything now. Jenny accidentally walked in on a guest who was on the toilet and Rosa can't help but laughing. When Waldek sees this, he thinks everybody has forgotten Kasper. He doesn't realize Rosa deals different with her grief than he does. Jens thinks about buying the Noorderzon with money from his parents. Yvette accuses Femke in front of everyone. Later that morning Andre brings back Madeleine's money she hid in his closet, but forgot. Yvette proposes to Katrien they keep quiet about it, so Femke will still be accused with stealing the money.

Simonne still thinks it's a bit strange Luc asked Frank to work for him, but Julia tells her Luc has changed. He has been extremely lonely since Leontien and Lowie left and he learned from that. Franky asks Luc whose idea it was about Bram selling his shares. Luc tells him it was completely Bram's idea, because he needed money. Luc tells Frank his eyes opened when Simonne had her accident. Life is just too short to keep on the fight between them. Franky is very happy now his father has signed. David discovers Eddy didn't check the yeast before using it and it has contaminated the beer. David has an announcement for the rest of the brewers. He's taking his money out. Katrien doesn't want to go with Yvette's proposal and tells Madeleine and the police the money has been found. Femke is in the clear again. Waldek thinks Rosa doesn't think about Kasper at all anymore, because she hasn't been to the cemetery in three weeks. Rosa shows him how she remembers Kasper and that he's never out of her heart. Waldek sees it completely different. Peggy her asking price for the Noorderzon is too high for Jens.

The whole Bomans family went to Florke's grave. Luc and Julia are invited to stay afterward. When they bring up memories, Luc suddenly misses Lowie, his son, very much. They all understand his grief and try to cheer him up. Peggy feels very down. She accidentally hears Jenny talking to Marianne over the phone and learns Sandrine is at the coast. She decides to go there. Ann sees her there watching Sandrine. Peggy explains Sandrine is all she has left and begs Ann to see her once in a while, but Ann says no. David advises Geert they better sell the brewery before it goes bust. Because Geert is a doctor and doesn't know the business and Eddy is not a very good brewer. Geert decides otherwise. He wants to buy David's shares to continue the brewery. Rosa waits for Waldek to go together to Kasper's grave, but he's already went without her. Rosa goes to the cemetery alone. At the grave they grief together. They meet Geert there. He knows what they're going through and tries to give them some courage for the future.

Frank starts with Sanitechniek today and Luc lined up some simple jobs to do together with Franky in the neighborhood. This way he can look in on Simonne from time to time. Frank is impressed by his son's qualities and also begins to think Luc has really changed. Peggy thinks she can't do anything right anymore these days and she misses Sandrine terribly. Waldek understands her. He also misses Kasper. Peggy sells the Noorderzon to Jens, although it's far below the asking price. Madeleine blames André for stealing her money. It hurts him to see her decline so rapid lately. He's afraid she won't even recognize him in time anymore. Madeleine has headaches. Katrien thinks it might be her sugar levels. Geert buys David's shares from the brewery. David tells Mayra he's going back to Cape Verde. No-one needs him here anymore. Mayra tries to persuade him to stay, but his mind is made up. Geert has an announcement for Ann and Marianne. He will quit his job and find another practice. They're stunned.
