The Boskis go on holiday to Gdynia. Because of a broken dishwasher and arguments about restaurants, they only order pizza. They go crazy in the education center and surf. The boys' antics prevent Natalia from fully relaxing.
Tomek wants to borrow a car from his parents for two weeks. Ludwik agrees, but makes a condition. Boska decides to repaint the house. Ludwik gets down to business. It's not going well, though. Meanwhile, a painter shows up at the house.
Natalia and Ludwik are still alone. They connect with Kuba and Kacper via the Internet and it turns out that the boys have already had some interesting adventures at the camp. Maria and Marek take the Boskis to the horse races.
Natalia and Magda try to tear Tomek away from the phone, but they don't succeed very well. Zosia wants to make Kacper jealous. Bolo tells Tomek that Natalia is very pretty. Boska hears this, and moments later she is left alone with Bolo.
Kacper tells his parents about his new super teacher who taught them about the Longobards. Tomek moves out, and Ludwik plans to furnish the room after him.
Tomek is moving out of the house. However, he comes to leave his laundry for Natalia. Kacper has braces on his teeth and because of that he doesn't want to talk to anyone.
Ludwik buys Natalia an unusual gift for winter - an antidepressant lamp. Unfortunately, instead of calming down, the gift only raises Natalia's nerves. In addition, she gets under the skin of Kuba, who devours the last chocolate croissant.
Kuba becomes the president of the school council, but at the same time he has several threats. Tomek in turn removes the threat of Magda moving into his student flat.
The parents and Marek help Tomek to paint the apartment. A boy invites his family over for a disgusting dinner and argues with his roommates about the rules in the apartment.
Tomek's been maneuvering so that he doesn't have to worry about food. He drops by to visit his parents, or invites them to his house with some food. Old junk from the grandparents still blocks the garage and the renovation of Kacper's room, although the boys can find interesting things out of it.
Tomek excuses himself from shopping for Natalia, but surreptitiously eats the supplies from the fridge. The boys pretend they don't know how to wax Ludwik's car, then upload a video of it collapsing to YouTube.
Tomek misses his family home full of food. Ludwik and Natalia have a free house just for themselves, but until then. The boys successfully outsmart their parents and achieve their goals.
Natalia is getting ready for six months of college. Suddenly, she finds that everyone in the house needs her help. Janina cleans Tomek's apartment. Kacper and Zosia believe in the American conspiracy of 9/11.
Marek and Ludwik advise Kacper when to ask a girl "about walking". Natalia tries to be up-to-date and shows off in front of her sons. Tomek comes in hungry from dinner with Magda, who ordered the most expensive dishes on the menu.
Kacper is preparing for his First Holy Communion. He and Zosia talk about costumes and wonder what a sin is. Kuba is happy that his pre-Communion exams and preparations are behind him.
Natalia finds an erotic magazine in Kacper's room. She tries to talk to him. She does a better job of explaining what family is for, though. Tomek goes to his grandmother's name day, and Bolo leads a lush erotic life.
At the last minute, Natalia and Ludwik's work prevents them from going on holiday with their children. They are replaced by Marek and Maria. All five go to Grudziadz, to a hotel by the lake.
Natalia is working on a project with her college friends, which results in bending the house rules. Tomek wriggles away from cooking at home and from his job at the sandwich bar. All at the expense of Natalia.
Boskis' family has their hands full. Tomek, on the other hand, does not shirk from either work or helping his grandfather. Kacper dreams of getting out of the rut at home and asks his parents for permission to go on a class trip to Paris.
Natalia brags about getting an A in college. Ludwik is inconsolable with his new responsibilities. Antek encourages Kacper to play Lacrosse. Tomek has perpetual problems with his family.
Kuba scares his mum with an erotic poem to a girl, he can't get the money for a new bike, and his cutting retort to Mark hits a snag in Natalia. Tomek uses his parents as much as he can.
Kuba is a clever boy who can talk his way out of giving up his hat and understands the complexities of his friends' allergies, but he won't be able to outsmart either his mum or dad. Tomek is fooled by a high-interest credit card trick.
Kacper is going through a difficult time. He has moods, he loses homeworks, he gets poor grades. The only thing that makes him feel better is a big serving of pasta. Ludwik sometimes loses his head in the clouds.
Janina and Zenon argue about the idea of moving to the countryside. Ludwik himself begins to consider selling the house. Natalia and Maria use wine and the effects of its consumption as a way to get the children out of the house.
The Boskis' house is a mess before Christmas. Ludwik struggles with Christmas lights, and Tomek with Christmas expenses and superstitions. In the evening, they all meet at the same table.
Natalia and Ludwik want to sell their house and move to an apartment. Janina helps clean up to encourage potential buyers. The only problem is Kacper's sabotage actions. Will Boskis give up their idyllic suburban life for the urban jungle?
