On leave for the death of Camille, Adèle enjoys at Parc de la Villette with Jess, Hyppolite and their children, when Hugo Fournier, 10, disappears in front of his parents. For the Fourniers, it's a nightmare that begins again for, twenty-five years ago, their eldest daughter, Laura, disappeared without a trace at 6. Adèle is disturbed when the police officer in charge of Laura's investigation confesses that he always considered Argos the kidnapper.

When Comisaire adjointe Baranski takes the team to a rural seminar to build up relationships, they find Émeline Belattar, pregnant, unconscious and seriously injured, by the side of the road. Adèle and Rocher notice her body is marked with a symbol, but Cavaroc, the gendarme in charge of the investigation, will not let them cooperate. The same symbol is in the vines of the chateau and winery they are staying in, owned by the Corbins, who become main suspects, but claim not knowing Émeline. As for them, they are the victims of relentless harassment for months: someone wants revenge.

When attending a party at the chateau they are staying in for a seminar, the team finds themselves in the midst of a hostage situation: Claire Chassaigne, armed with a gun, seeks revenge against Cyril Corbin, the owner, apparently for a long-standing trauma. Adèle manages the situation in the best possible way to avoid having casualties and makes Claire tell her story, while she waits for Rocher to release them.

Roland Nolas, the owner of a boxing club calls his old friend Commandant Rocher because Paul Gardères, 28, one of his trainers, has been found dead, in the middle of the ring. Clément, the boxer he coached, was on his way to winning the Ile-de-France championship, but he was also the victim's little brother. The two brothers might have attracted too much envy with their success. At the same time, Adèle investigates who left flowers in Camille's grave.

Adèle and Rocher arrive to the crime scene of a triple murder: Monique and Jean-Christophe Sérail, 60, retired, and their son Vincent, 31, have been attacked on their sleep and mutilated; their left hands cut off. The DPJ finds that Vincent is miraculously alive; his older sister lived abroad. The MO of the crime leads Courtène to the case of a student murdered in 2002 by David Webber, her philosophy teacher. He has been in prison for fifteen years, but he is a disturbing and charismatic man. The new director of the prison is Baranski.

One month after the previous investigation, la BC is called to the scene of the suicide of Stéphanie Pleskof, 53, who hanged herself in her living room, and the murder of Léa, 20, her daugther, who had been missing since 2014. Apparently, Nicole Marceau was the judge investigating her disappearance. The team investigates while Jess and Hyppo are happy expecting, Emma is ready to leave for her new job and Aurélie, his sister-in-law, is still living at Rocher's, making him and Adèle distance.

Dr Patrick Grandet, 65, retired, is found charred in his home, where illegal medicines are found. The PJ finds out that even though removed from the College of Physicians for organ trafficking, he had also saved several teenagers from a burning bus fifteen years ago, which makes Adèle think the means of the murder necessarily refer to this episode. While Argos's lawyer menaces her, Adèle watches the video her captor left her thanks to Rocher's sister in-law and discovers that her parents had another daughter in 2001, a year before they died; Hyppolite will help her to find her. Lieutenant Prevost substitutes temporarily Emma.

Rocher visits the office of Guillaume Garnier, Argos's lawyer, and finds Adèle with a knife, covered in blood, by his lifeless body. Although all presume her innocence, evidences and facts accuse her, but she is sure that Argos is after the murder. She and Rocher discover some new clues about Argos when visiting his piano teacher: his real name was Alexandre Gorse, born in 1949.
