Conan and the kids meet an elderly detective team which consists of their older counterparts. This team reports a murder and helps the police solve it but Conan has his own suspicions.
A kindergarten teacher is found injured near the stairs in a park. She is a good friend of the FBI investigator, Jodie Starling, who also starts helping the police. Problems arise when Bourbon, of the Black Organisation, also gets involved in the investigation.
Bourbon and Conan go toe to toe in the investigation of the wounded teacher. They figure who the culprit is but Conan feels that Bourbon has a bigger agenda at play.
