Half a year after the murder on Thomas Reitmann, his brother Walter is skull-smashed in the Reitmann farm with a bottle. Surviving sister Johanna Reitmann-Schwarz reports Cape-specialized wine dealer Harry Norden's delivery van leaving the estate. The victim was holding a flask of poison. Harry Norden's wife Cordula was jailed for Thomas's murder, which she never confessed. Cororner Dr. Kern finds her interim misjudged the case: Thomas Reitmann was poisoned before falling to his death. Did Harry kill Walter to reopen the early case? Johanna's husband Eberhard Schwarz plans a divorce. Harry Norden's friend Ferdinand Reischl is possibly innocent Cordula's ex and may have covered for Harry.

The co-owner of a small toy factory is found skull-smashed on site by his partner and employees. He was moved, Hofer and Lind must find motive and opportunity among the staff, which proves a cesspit of jealousy and conflicts. Mohr however finds their produce fit for gifts.

Genealogist Hubertus Schober is found murdered in his Rosenheim hotel room, having traveled through Leipzig to meet a kinsman, hand injury-retired concert pianist Albrecht Kuhn and city archivist Udo Postel, his fellow genealogist correspondent, whom he didn't meet either. Hofer and Lind find Schober called Udo Postel and the police to file a fraud complaint, which may concern rather uncooperative Albrecht Kuhn, whose alibi, house maid Marlies Oberhuber, and 'female company' still may fall through. Postel's Internet aristocratic ancestors research website delights Stockl, till it proves a cheap fraud.

Ein Mordsjahrgang
Leading local wine merchant Maximilian Kreuzeder was murdered in his prestigious shop, skull smashed with a magnum bottle. Otherwise only one thing was touched: the missing super-exclusive ancient bottle of a rare French chateau that wasn't wiped out by the great vines plague, a collectors prize estimated near 100,000 Euros. He recently won a hotel contract his local rival Paul Wetterstein desperately wanted. Other prime suspect is his heir, playboy nephew without any business sense Ferdl Kreuzeder, who argues he could wait as max was terminal, a matter of weeks. However developer Valerie Dobler was after the derelict family estate which Max refused to sell, contacting Ferdl secretly. While Hofer and Lind investigate, the precinct prepares a royal welcome for a high level inspection.

Tobias Hartl, from the Rosenheim PD burglary section, is suspected of theft, and part of evidence loot is found in his home. Chief Achziger, believing him innocent, has Korbinian and Lind search for the truth, while Hartl hides, all too clumsily, at the Hofer farm. The accusing detectives are suspected themselves, even more when a probably related murder occurs. Finally a trap cracks the case.

A car mechanic's skull-smashed corpse is found at home by mailman Josef Pfistermeier, he must have known the killer. As Korbinian is delegated to a Brussels conference, Lindt must investigate the case with guest detective Florian Prantl, who doesn't like staying with Marie Hofer again, as she expects rent in handyman kind and plans a bar renovation, so he pretends lumbago. The must look into the victim's love life, his sanctimonious lover Janine Ertl, his boss Wolfgang Stangler, his adulterous wife Diana, .other mechanic Sigi Posch, who lives well above his means, and fraud with car parts, incurring blackmail with a twist.

Owner Maria Wittenberg is found murdered in her multi-store house. Hofer, Prantl and Lindt start with prime suspect Thomas Wolf, her ex-con tenant, soon extending to the fat inheritance, and stumble upon more possible motives. Jo cues Prantl how to avoid labor at the Hofer farm by faking a bad back, but gets caught.

Hobby-beekeeper Peter von Geis's murder was recorded on his security video for the bees, but the killer wore the full suit with mask. Sven Hansen finds his foxy housekeeper Astrid, who found Peter, was his lover nd that he sued his brother Xaver's much younger ex-stripper widow Hannah for the fat inheritance. The lawyer costs nearly ruined Hannah, who fired staff except gardener Stefan Markwart, who is also much more. Peter's attorney, Christian Kastner, fell for Hannah von Geis (and the fortune?) during the trial. Korbinian Hofer concentrates on his family farm, with chief Achtziger's permission, otherwise strict controller Ortmann's collusion puzzles newcomer Sven Hansen, who learns the Bavarian way of life.

Mit Schwung in den Tod
Two early cyclist bump in the forest onto the naked corpse of local Karl Unger, who apparently made a fatal fall on a rock, caused by a rope blocking the path. Sven Hansen and Korbinian Hofer learn he -like some other locals- regularly cycled backpack-only, greatly annoying grumpy neighbor, and keep digging for motives and opportunity. Sven realizes the rock was manipulated by the killer. Korbinian is distracted, as precinct controller Ortmann, who was instructed to restrain his unaccounted absences, came up with a draconian 'sanction contract', which his sister Marie Hofer craftily counters, nudging chief Achzinger via networking.

Strong man competition sponsor Ferdinand Reischl is appalled to find competitor Karl Haberl, whom he used in a publicity campaign, skull smashed by a deliberately toppled concrete ball taking unusual force to lift. Haberl was employed, like his girl friend Josepha Krailling, by Rainer Brandl's security firm Zerberus, where also had a short, candid liaison with further colleague Hans Wanninger. Mohr finds in his locker, before the others can, and brings Hansen and Hofer his collection of paper clippings concerning a never solved robbery of one of Zerberus's armored money vans where employee Achim Knittel got away with cash loot after chaining of partner Brandl, never to be found. The detectives involve robbery squad colleague Tobias Hartl, who never cracked the case, and do better. Chief Achziger meanwhile tries to mediate between all too strict controller Ortmann and the detectives, who enter disputable expenses, like Hansens's new GPS, Stockle beats Patricia at her own procedural game.

Police chief Gert Achtziger faces a grim meeting about false accusations against his management of the music academy, but entering the office of his accuser and once rival for the director's post, city official Elmar Kranz, Achtzigerfinds him skull-smashed and sees a masked man hurry out. Achtziger must be formally investigated as (implausible) prime suspect by Sven and Korbinian. City official Dr. Henning-Spaeth handed Kranz incriminating accounts, without formal authority, which Sven gets Ortmann to look through and find doctored, albeit his 'bribe' marina breakfast backfires. Kranz was murdered wit the precious meteorite the astrologer kept locked in a showcase in his office, now missing, estimated at 500,000 Euros. Nearly bankrupted bookshop-keeper and astrology club fellow Herbert Glaser, whose girlfriend Rosl Grandauer is academy employee, had access, no alibi. Achtziger semi-identifies from a tick young academy student Alfi Stutzner as probably the masked man, statute fitting, who gets linked to another person of interest.

Korbinian Hofer would be late again due to a marten-bitten starting cable, but accidentally discovers by the road Markus Lorenz skull-smashed inside his milk collection truck. His low prices were wrecking competitor Hans Stetter, but his alibi checks out. Client Robert Thomas's separated wife Sissi is his alibi, while he knows about her adultery with neighbor Benno Kohlhuber, whom Lorenz caught and photographically recorded cheating against his bio label terms. Forensics show there were two blows to the head, with at least half an hour interval. Meanwhile Stockl frantically tries to recover the plastic dummy crossover she sold at stock auction, but chief Achziger wants to reuse at the impending public information day.

The environmental specialist who has been travelling around Bavaria to counsel farms about reducing their carbon footprint, including the Hofers, has been skull-smashed. Sven and Korbinian firstly investigate loud old-fashioned farmer Leonhard Heidler, who publicly threatened him, and turns out to be married to the sister of the municipal environmental officer, Markus Erbacher, in charge of the local bio-label. However, the victim was about the leave at least a year to New Zealand, taking along one of his student intern, lover Bettina Bohn, while the other, Fabian Kruege, is likely to succeed, at least interim. Meanwhile the precinct is unusually dirty, as Ortmann contracted a cheaper cleaning firm.

*Waitress Maja Birnbach was found neck-smashed with an ore in the boathouse at the lake near Ochsenwirt, where she worked. Chef Georg Falkenstein accuses waiter Tobias Hoelzl, who was nearly fired for bothering shy other waitress Rosi Wimmer, but fails to mention his own former affair with Maja. Just this restaurant was picked for the music academy's 25th jubilee. Owner Leo Gerlach actually manages it for his wife, who lives and works elsewhere, but allegedly had an affair with Maja. Detectives Hansen and Hofer investigate, and both are flashed speeding privately, that same camera proves Georg's alibi. A valuable missing necklace, which she probably held, may be the key when found in Gerlach's car.

Entrepreneur Oliver Neumann was fatally shot by a helmet-masked motor-biker, witnessed by trucker Gernot Wagner. The motorcycle belongs to Karsten Wiesheu, who bought it for his late girlfriend and claims to ignore who stole it weeks earlier, but was convicted for violence against Neumann, whom he blames for Veronika's fatal crash after a trial ended in acquittal. Stockl eagerly checks fresh widow and squander-bug heiress Barbara's alibi, chic shopping in Munich. Former foreman Peter Lausen owes Neumann 30.000 Euros, his girl Lisa Görlitz is his alibi, but turns when warned for perjury, yet there's another twist.
