When someone beats a Muslim man to death, von Meuffels questions the motives of intelligence operatives, but gets half-truths and outright lies.

A young woman is run over on the streets of Magdeburg at night and dies at the scene of the accident. The driver commits a hit and run. He was traveling at extremely high speed. Brasch and Köhler quickly suspect that it may have been an illegal car race. But how do you find the racing drivers and the guilty party? And how do you prove in retrospect that a race has taken place? There are no witnesses, no one has seen the death car. The father of Sara, the victim, is questioned, but he reveals very little about his daughter. Car repair shops are visited and the internet is scoured for illegal races. Finally the commissioners find a group called "Le Magdeburg". To her surprise, two drivers connect with the dead woman. Tommy and Henry loved Sara. The autopsy reveals another secret: the dead woman was two months pregnant. Was the motive jealousy? Brasch and Köhler attach themselves to the racing drivers, and a new trail leads them to the Czech border. Did someone want to silence Sara? The new case demands strategy and speed from the commissioners before they uncover all the drama behind the young woman's death.

An old unsolved murder that Inspector Röder had been handling at the time is being reopened. The perpetrator was acquitted at the time. Bukow and König throw themselves into the investigation. After a new DNA test, it is clear: Guido Wachs, who was not convicted at the time, is actually the murderer of the young girl. But once someone has been accused and acquitted, they cannot simply go to court again for the same crime. Bukow and König desperately try to establish the connection between further murders and Guido Wachs in order to put the perpetrator behind bars after all.

19-year-old Paula Borchert is found dead in the Oder near Frankfurt. Inspector Olga Lenski and her colleague Adam Raczek take over the investigation. Paula had only recently been employed by Leo Heise as an au pair. Leo is a single father and lives with his two young children in the house of his parents Katarzyna Heise and Gerd Heise. Paula, who didn't take her au pair job very seriously, was very outgoing and had become friends with Milena and her boyfriend Marcin. During their research, the investigators came across an old case involving the Heise family: Julia Sikorska, Katarzyna's daughter and Gerd Heise's stepdaughter, disappeared 15 years ago. To this day there is no sign of life from her. Pawel Sikorski, Julia's biological father, has since suspected Gerd Heise of sexually assaulting Julia. Olga and Adam have to clarify whether Julia Sikorska's disappearance is related to the death of Paula Borchert.

A woman is executed in front of her daughter in a remote parking lot. For Nadja, the detective chief inspector Hanns von Meuffels as a dedicated assistant, the case seems obvious. A family drama about sex, blackmail and custody. But von Meuffels is not a fan of hasty theories. Too many inconsistencies that don't make sense.
