Anna and her boyfriend Florian celebrate their recent high school graduation with a trip in their rubber dinghy. A speeding motorboat puts an abrupt end to their happiness. The mahogany yacht races right over the rubber dinghy. Anna manages to save herself, but Florian dies as a result of the attack. The driver of the boat deliberately headed for the rubber dinghy - Anna is quite sure of that. With a bit of luck, Paul Schott will find the owner of the outrageously expensive boat: the rich Swiss businessman Rene Balsiger, however, did not drive it himself - Nele, Julia and their Swiss colleague, Sergeant Dominik Stähli, quickly realize that. When the boat is to be overhauled at a shipyard, the investigators realize that danger is imminent. During the initial gathering of evidence, events take a dramatic turn. Samir Bin Habib, a friend of Balsiger's son Reto, initially flees, only to then confess in the presence of his lawyer. The case is thus closed. However, after talking to her son Niklas, Nele continues to doubt the course of events. Niklas knew Florian and knows that Reto Balsiger was in Florian's parallel class. His girlfriend Anna receives mysterious calls on Florian's number and agrees to a fateful meeting... Is the Bodan 1, the police boat, fast enough to save a life?
