A group of people are looking for Hugo Albin, who has vanished in the woods, to finally find him dead by a blow on the back of his head with a branch. They were following a course to embrace nature, which Hugo, a former drug offender, was imparting, although the group was starting to suspect of his abilities as a instructor after Mr. Martineau became intoxicated with poisonous berries, which Hugo apparently told him he could eat.
