Shanto's Arrival
Asha's nephew Shanto is going to go to the Sisimpur school. Phulbiju is a festival of the tribes of the hilly regions that marks the end of the year and the welcoming of the new year. Shanto is playing the game "What Flies and What Doesn't Fly' with his new friends of Sisimpur. Everyone's having fun. Friends have brought all sorts of presents for a birthday party and Mom and sister have decorated the room. Abdun Nur Tushar is a guest at "Shiku's Can You Tell" today. Today, he's going to play a game called "Guess What You're Eating" with Shiku. A song about the importance of washing fruits before eating them.

They hang it in the lichi tree to scare away birds. Construction men build a Bengali letter Aa. Detective Shiku waits at the station for a famous detective Feluda. But Feluda sent an assistant to bring Shiku to Kolkata to assist him to reveal a mystery. Ikri has made a rocket to count backwards from 10 to 1. She'll count backwards with Shiku. Tuktuki will visit the Jamdani Polli today to see how Saris (traditional women's clothing) are made.

Ikri will play music in a rhythm and Halum will recite a rhyme in rhythm. The different sounds of vehicles and water vessels: horn, bell, ring, siren, and engine sounds. Ikri talks with the donkey Shiku made. She keeps asking it questions until Shiku tells Ikri that he made it out of hay and he cannot answer. Urmi will go out with her parents. They all choose what clothing to wear. A lot of words can be formed with the letter "Tha." For example, Shoroth (autumn), furuth (in a snap), chamathkar (awesome), etc. A magician brings 12 van rickshaws, which are counted one by one. A letter drops at the music show out of nowhere and announces that the monster is to arrive at the show. Everyone hides. Once the monster arrives he tells them there's nothing to be afraid, he wants to be friends with everybody. Kids make flower garlands and gifts for their mom on her birthday. Mom is really happy.

It's quite cold today so Ikri makes the fish in the aquarium wear sweaters, socks, etc. Five worms start a race, but one by one they get tired, showing subtraction. The fisherman Shemai Ali will demonstrate how fishermen catch fish. Then we see different houses in the mountains and learn the Barnawali's letter "Chaw." The physically challenged Shopon wins a medal at the swimming competition. Halum and Shiku are friends and love each other. They have different ideas and perspectives, but they are still friends.

A flock of birds lay flowers in the shape of number 21 at the foot of the Shaheed Minar monument for National Language day. Making beautiful designs on cloth. Polash's mom makes a beautiful Kantha (quilt) for him. Priyobhashini, a famous artist, has made a nice sculpture for Halum, Tuktuki and the rest on her visit to Sisimpur. Lastly, cameraman Halum takes pictures of Bengali number 18.

Ikri is making fish with green leaves of different sizes and shapes. She draws a pond with little leaves. When finished, Halum wants to catch the fish. A little girl performs two puppets with her hands. She made them with paper, foam, cloth, wool and painted with colors with assistance from her parents. Ikri asks Halum to sit still while she draws a picture. Suddenly, a butterfly above Halum's head flies away. Ikri is done drawing. Halum understands that Ikri was drawing the butterfly. A petrol pump counts 13 cars in line waiting for gas. Dada Bhai redraws his lost painting for Shiku to exhibit. A girl brings the lost one that Dada Bhai sent for framing to display at his exhibition. Then we learn about the Bengali Letter "Maw." Lastly, we sing Tukukti's song about drawing butterflies.

Taking Care of My World
Halum will sit under the banyan tree to listen to a song, but keeps getting interrupted by unwanted sounds. Students attend a picnic with their teachers and learn that they should dispose of trash properly. Ludu and Budu need water. Ludu finds the Bengali letter TAW. Tubewell starts with Taw. A scuba diving sheep explores the ocean, but needs a password to get back into his submarine. The password is the number 50. Looking at the dirty water, the queen is very upset. So the king asks everyone to help work on cleaning the park. Seeing the newly neat and clean park, the queen wants to stay there rather than return to the castle. A boy helps his mother clean the school. After washing up, he has something to eat and then attends the school. He is proud of the work they did.

Children's Corner
Tuktuki, Halum, Ikri,and Shiku are reading in the library, but Halum frequently has to go outside to laugh. Tuktuki's story book is also so funny that she can't read it out loud to Ikri, so they too go outside. Rakibul goes to school for the first time. After entering the class, he starts reciting a poem with his classmates. When class ends, everyone plays a game. He is very happy and will go to school every day. Pencil writes a Bengali letter. An airplane flies above Shiku and Ikri's heads. Shiku makes an airplane out of paper and explains the difference between a real plane and a paper one. Later, we watch nine elephants come one by one to a circus tent and dance to music. Then we see how to make balloons out of rubber. The Barnawali's today's letter is "da". Dori (rope), doi (curd), etc. all begin with the letter "da." Golap and Akash are two friends. They will learn how to make dolls out of clay from the village's potter Ratan Da. Hearing the sound of a flute, Detective Shiku sets forth to find the origin. Later when he meets Halum, he finds it was him who was playing with a leaf. Shiku understands that what the sound was and where it was coming from. Cricketer Salma teaches Tuktuki how to play cricket through practice.

Disguised as masters, Shiku, Ikri, and Shobuj Kha are sitting with the King along with Tuktuki and others. Today they will sing a song to the King "O." A father named his son Lalon after the famous folk singer, Baul Lalon Shah. Today the boy visits Lalon Shah to sing him a song. After the song was over, everyone applauded. Film actress Moushumi is in Sisimpur today. Tuktuki, Halum, and Shiku, will sing and dance with Moushumi.

Halum has to practice for his dance, but the cassette player is out of order. Now what will he do? Tuktuki is consoling Halum when Shiku discovers that the plug to the player wasn't attached. A Rickshaw puller goes to Sisimpur with ten tigers, which are counted one by one. Then we sing a song about grandparents and family. Ikri tries to prevent Shiku from opening a box full of the letter "Ee." But out of curiosity when Shiku opens the box, the letter "E" flies away. A man is sitting underneath a tree in the jungle. He asks the tree for some fruit and the tree says, "You can eat my fruit, because you planted me and took care of me with water and clay. You can have fruits from my tree." A child's new baby sister was just issued a birth certificate. When she grows up, she will need it. Everyone needs to have a birth certificate. Lastly, Tuktuki sings a song called "Everyone loves me."

Kite Festival

The Sisimpur gang is invited to participate in the annual kite festival in Bakul Pur, which will be telecast. Only one can fly the Sisimpur kite. Shiku, Ikri, and Bahadur are encouraging Tuktuki. Getting the new kite and the wheel, Tuktuki is very happy. They all are practicing together. The game of letter recognition with letter Aa. Aa for aam (mango), anarosh (pineapple) etc. The kite festival is starting at Bakul Pur. The kite runner who will be able to fly the kite highest will be presented with books as a prize.

Ikri has a cold. Doctor Safdar tells her she must put on some warm clothes. A moment later Doctor Safdar starts sneezing. Ikri quickly reminds him of the advice he gave her. Then we sing a song about the importance of breakfast. Pencil writes a Bengali letter. Eraser wipes out the dot beneath it. This shows how to write the letter Murdannaya Sha from the letter JAW. Halum will eat the 19 fish in the bowl, one by one. Ikri will count from 1 to 19 in this way. Today on Parboti's Stage, Joga is going to make kichuri (traditional dish) out of vegetables. Ikri and Sumona will have frumenty together. Ikri first washes her hands and then the spoon. Then she remembers that the frumenty wasn't washed. Five worms start a race, but one by one they get tired, showing subtraction. Children play football and every once in a while take a break to rest. Some kids swing, lay on the ground, read, listen music etc. Then they play again. Tuktuki won't go to school today - but everyone's worried why she won't. Finally, Tuktuki tells everyone that school is closed today. Pegasus starts with the letter 'Pa.' The Pegasus takes a bath in the lake. Later, we learn about favorite foods. A rural girl and her brother love milk. Their friends like different foods, local fruits, eggs, small fishes, etc. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri and Shiku are going to spend the day with celebrity doctor Arup Ratan at Sisimpur and they'll sing with him.

Khoka Mia visits the photographer Halum's studio to get his picture in front of the sea shore. A rural girl accompanies her father, a ferry boatman to his job. They ferry people with different goods. Khoka Miah goes to the Saladia hotel to have Shorborno (alphabet) Halim (a dish made of beef, lentils and spices). As usual waiter Halum keeps him waiting and serves him cold Halim. Khoka Miah is infuriated by this. A Rickshaw puller goes to Sisimpur with ten tigers, which are counted one by one. A boy helps his mother clean the school. After washing up, he has something to eat and then attends the school. He is proud of the work they did. Finally, we sing a song about the importance of washing hands.

Let's Celebrate
Cricketer Habibul Bashar has come to Sisimpur. He'll spend the whole day with Tuktuki. A song about a colorful rural fair showing children and adults enjoying rides, a circus, puppet shows, toys, food etc. Nine elephants come one by one to a circus tent and dance to music. Bangla letter Chandrabindu is at Shiku's office. Shiku solves the mystery of why he can't sit. An airplane flies above Shiku and Ikri's heads. Shiku makes an airplane out of paper and explains the difference between a real plane and a paper one. Phulbiju is a festival of the tribes of the hilly regions that marks the end of the year and the welcoming of the new year. Polash has written a letter to Ikri. Everyone's reading that letter. They're really enjoying it.

What Do People Do?
Khoka Miah is thirsty and goes to the Saladia restaurant. Waiter Halum first brings cucumbers and watermelons. Khoka Miah gets annoyed and Halum says there are no glasses in the restaurant, but he sent someone to buy them. Tuktuki visits artist Mustafa Monowar and paints with him. Ikri will count till 24 with her favorite doll, Timtim. Next, we watch construction men build a Bengali letter Aa. Asha is seen catching fish one after another. Excited and full of enthusiasm, Halum helps to put the fish in the basket. On the way to school, Rahim tears his shoe. His friend Mimi takes him to his father, who is a cobbler.
