Ikri, Halum, Shiku, and Tuktuki go over to beautify Mukul and Sumona's house. They put the chair on the table, hang the carpet on the wall, and the painting of the sea on the ceiling. The whole idea would be very strange. It's Moumita's Annoprashon (When a baby eats rice for the first time) She's going to eat rice for the first time. All the relatives are reveling in celebration. Moumita has been dressed up really beautifully. They will name her today. Then we learn about Dolna ( swing ) with a 'Da'. Mukul and Sumona will be very surprised to see the house done like this. Then they explain to Tuktuki and the others about where all the stuff should be placed. They'll reorganize the things one by one. We also count to four with a family of four (father, mother, brother, sister). We get to see a happy chicken family including a rooster, hen and their chicks. All the neighbors come to visit Mukul and Sumona. They praise the beautified room. Later everyone will gather together for a meal but they figure out that the meal hasn't been cooked in the first place.

Halum will explain to Ikri that the butterfly that she made would not fly. That's because an artificial butterfly can't eat, can't move. But to Halum's surprise the butterfly flies away in the end. We work on problem solving with two ants who draw a picture with a pencil. Then some kids draw the number 15 on a large canvas. Detective Shiku will find out Tuktuki's lost friend, 'Dhai Shunnyo Rhaw'. Mukul writes a ' wet paint' signboard so that nobody touches the newly painted stuff. He tells Halum to keep watch and leaves. When he returns Mukul is surprised first and then laughs. Halum made a lot of signboards saying 'wet paint'. Tuktuki is amazed and excited to see different types of masks being made at artist Saidul Haq Juis' house. The artist gives her an 'owl mask' as a present. We end the day with Ikri's scribble picture song.

Dress-up

Everyone at Sisimpur have stood together to pose for a snap. Shiku is taking the picture. Everyone is brimming with anticipation for Shiku to capture that beautiful picture. At the end, Shiku disappoints everyone when after keeping them waiting for two hours he goes off to fetch paint, canvas and easel. Everybody is surprised to see Shiku disappear like this. We'll be introduced to the different clothes worn by the guests at the wedding party. A scare crow is fixed in a crop field so that the birds are scared away and can't eat the crops. Later the farmer himself is scared and runs off. Ikri will teach Shemai Ali how to wear a Fotua (a shirt-like garment). Shemai Ali will try hard and will be very happy to properly wear the Fotua eventually. Tuktuki and Halum will imagine swimming with the help of tubes and coconuts as they stand in front of Gunimoyra's shop. Now Gunimoyra comes in anticipation to swim but Halum and Tuktuki are done swimming by then. They'll leave - Gunimoyra will be left in surprise. Lastly, we count to seven with baby crocodiles and learn the letter 'Ka'.

We Love to Play

Halum and Tuktuki will enjoy playing the game "At the front and at the back" in turns. We play ball-in-the-hole, which teaches us about "inside and outside". Also, the children draw the number 17 on a canvas. Shiku faints to see the cut out crane written by Ikri fly. Later on, we get on a seesaw and learn about up and down. All the kids will play cricket at the village field today. There are a lot of arrangements going on for it. They've made bats, stumps, etc by themselves. At last the game starts and everybody really enjoys it. Today, Ikri is going to teach Shemai Ali how to skip. Shemai Ali has to try hard before he manages to skip. Shemai Ali becomes really happy. Bahadur sings as he looks for Ikri, Tuktuki and the others. On the other hand Tuktuki and the others go on playing hide and seek with Bahadur.

Flood 1

Hearing the forewarning of a flood on radio, everyone at Sisimpur are discussing about how to cope with the flood. Mukul and Asha tell Ikri, Halum, Tuktuki and Shiku what a flood is and what damages a flood can inflict. Later, we see a diverse range of boats in Bangladesh. Sampan, fishing boat, launch, speed boat, etc are among the many. The sampan, however, is unique. It's very beautiful. The sampan sails off in the wind with the help of two oars. TV reporter J.E Mamun has captured scenes of the flood preventive measures of Sisimpur on camera, and he is learning from everyone how the Sisimpurians are preparing themselves to face the flood this time. Halum is really worried about his house. Everyone is stacking up sand bags to form a wall against and control the flood waters. Efforts to conserve food and water is going on. They are carrying torch lights, candles etc. with them. And thus everybody is trying to prepare for the flood situation. Also, we learn about the letter 'Na' as well as the number 0. Human beings and animals all drink water when they are thirsty and when exhausted. People drink water in many ways. They drink water in glasses, bottles, and even straight from a tube well. We'll hear warnings of the flood on the radio. Everyone will be asked to take shelter in safe places. Here on this side Sisimpurians are all at a safe shelter. To have a fun time Bahadur is playing this game with everyone. On the other hand Gunimoyra will call Mukul to know about the latest updates on everybody's well being. Mukul informs that everyone is fine.

Flood 2

Everybody in Sisimpur work together to repair the damages brought to Halum's house and the trees by the flood. And later they get involved in collecting relief material for other flood afflicted people. On a rainy the village kid takes banana and puffed rice with him and goes cow herding with his father. Cow herding for the whole day was a lot of fun for them. The boy helps his father to herd the cows. They bring the cows back in the afternoon. Later, we learn the letter 'Ma' and count to 8. Lian's mother is expecting. A new member will join Lian's family. The baby's name is Lutuputu. Lian's making new toys for Lutuputu. Finally, Lian's mother embraces Lutuputu. They all get very happy to have Lutuputu. With whatever they manage to donate themselves and all the relief material they collected, all Sisimpurians set out to help the flood victims. With megaphones they ask everyone to come forward to help the flood victims.

Emotion

Here starts a thrilling game, 'Happy, sad'. This fascinating game of Bahadur, Sumona and Mukul's proceeds with Tuktuki's commentary. When kite strings snap in a kite fight it makes me angry. When I can't draw it makes me angry. When mom and dad scolds me it makes me angry. When my friends trick me it makes me angry . We get to know the different reasons for children's anger. Actor Bipasha sings a beautiful song with the letter 'Ba' for the Sisimpur friends. 'Ba' gives us a bat, ball, book and even Bipasha. The King's flower plants are wilting and dying out because of no light and water. The King is so so upset. What do I do. What do I do. The minister wisely calls up the sun and the clouds. They come and give light and water. The plant becomes fresh and grows up quickly. The King gets very happy. We cry when we are very happy and then again also when we are hurt. When we play and stumble over we cry. We cry when we can't find the ball. We cry when we are hurt and when others are hurt - Crying lifts the burden off our chest.

The seeds kept in the mud grew into seedlings after receiving light and rain water. And on the other hand Halum did not find his seeds and went to Detective Shiku for help. Detective Shiku heard the whole story from Halum and solved the case swiftly. Halum was taken by surprise. Halum sees a beautiful butterfly. Ikri comes to Halum and wants to count up to 11. Halum on the other hand is not interested to count. Ikri will cleverly make Halum count up to 11. Everyone is making nice designs with henna on their hands after plucking the henna leaves and crushing them on a stone slab. When the hand is washed after the henna has dried out we can see beautiful designs. Everybody gets very happy. On opening his window Gaanwala sees lightning flashing. He gets scared and calls Bhuto. Bhuto tries to climb up a ladder leading to the skies and patch up the sky with glue. But the lightning does not stop flashing. In the end Konka comes and suggests that they should call the sun. Bhuto calls up the sun. The lightning stops once the sun is up. Everyone dances in delight. Tribal girl will cut and take away fresh bamboo shoots. That's because they will cook a dried fish curry and eat that today. Vegetable song. There are numerous vegetables that grow above and below the soil. Tomatoes, Carrots, Pineapples, Potatoes, etc. Lastly, we learn about Phool (flower) with the letter 'Pha'.

Ikri is playing "above, below, all around, and inside" with Asha and Sumona today. She begins to come and go above, below, all around, and between the rope. She gets to know about 'above, below, all around and inside' from this game. The indigenous boys are playing this fun game of spinning a plate on their fingers. They teach the new boy to play the game. The boy gets very excited to learn the new game. The topic of Shiku's "Can you tell?" today is zero. Manik and Ratan empty (make zero) plates full of pears, naru, etc. The number zero asks Shiku to leave. The whole stage becomes empty(make zero) when Shiku leaves. Bhuto's spinning wheel doesn't spin. He blows into it. The wheel still doesn't spin. Finally, he applies oil to it as Konka suggested and the wheel spins with a whir. The kids are having a good time playing with the car they made out of four used CD's. The CD car runs and glitters in the sun. Shiku reaches Chandan island after making through towns, villages, and deserts. Shiku comes to listen to the princess' songs but he is disheartened because the performance had just finished. Lastly, we learn about 'La' with Latim (top) spins.

Shiku makes a doll's family. There's everyone in that family- father, mother, brothers, sisters. Ikri, Manik, Ratan, Sherali, Bijli, fish and all go to visit them one by one - Shiku is baffled at witnessing this. There are so many types of sounds in a bamboo bush. Sounds of bamboo leaves dropping, rustles of leaves, different bird calls. All the children are going into the bamboo bush today in search of these sounds. A nice rhyme about the fish Boal (a type of local fish ). Theirs is Miss 'U' celebration at Sisimpur today. Everybody has brought a lot of gifts for miss 'U'. Some bring an Unun (stove), some bring a song with 'U' and after the slogan Miss 'u' enters riding on the huge flying fish that Halum brought. Gaanwaala, Bhuto and Konkaboti wander about in the forest. In the meanwhile it starts raining heavily. They're all at odds about where to go. Right then a frog croaks - everyone panics. The frog says, "Don't be afraid, come under my umbrella (toadstool), we're all friends". Everyone gets under the umbrella - They start dancing after the rain stops. The cat is friends with the little kid. The cat's called Mimi. Mimi loves eating fish and milk. The little kid plays with Mimi. Mimi wags his tail when he caresses her. They sleep in the same bed. They have lots of fun together. Parboti sings about what she eats, what she does. Ikri asks her a lot of questions and wants to know more. Parboti teaches Ikri to make the 'hamba' (mooing) call.

Tuktuki will be going to school. Hearing this from Sumona Tuktuki is utterly delighted. Gunimoyra, Asha, Sherali and all are extremely happy about this. Ikri wants to go to school too. But Sumona said Ikri could only go to school when she is a little older. So Ikri wonders how to become bigger. On the other hand you need copies, pencils and a bag to go to go to school...Shuki and Sherali are busy figuring out how to manage all these. Sumona makes a list of everything Tuktuki needs for school. Everyone comes forward to help out Tuktuki with the list. Like we see Shiku giving a pencil, Gunimoyra giving a copy, Sherali hugging Tuktuki at dawn everyday, Paru giving milk, Bijli giving eggs, Manik Ratan making clothes for Tutkuki out of their fur, Mukul buying a shoe and Halum giving fish. Now Tuktuki has no problems going to school anymore. Ikri feels hungry now after hearing about all these food. She wants to eat up and get much much bigger. Ikri is exercising with a lot of healthy food spread out around her. Paru, Bijli and all are waiting with milk and eggs. Kuddus is measuring Ikri's height every few minutes. Mukul, noticing all this explains to Ikri that she could stay healthy if she ate all the healthy food but she needed time to grow up, and she couldn't grow bigger in a day. Then, Ikri goes back to her exercising. Hamim's father buys him a table to study. Hamim loves his table very much. He keeps is table beautiful and organized, he studies, and draws pictures. His sister studies at the table with him as well. They are pretty happy to have their new table.Tuktuki will go to school today. She has come to Asha with a new school uniform. Asha tells her about her going to school with her first school uniform. She wore her uniform inside out. Later, Asha's mom helped her wear her uniform. Here, Tuktuki wears her uniform inside out too. Then again Asha helps her wear it properly. Tuktuki is very happy. She's going with her new clothes to school for the first time. Lastly, we learn about bird (pakhi) 'P' and count to 19.

Tuktuki says bye to everyone and sets off to school with Sumona. Ikri looks for Tuktuki and ends up going in front of the school and finding them there. She starts nagging about going to school too . Then Asha will explain to her that she isn't old enough to go to school. She can play about and have fun for now and go to school when she's older. Ikri is convinced with that and comes back after wishing Tuktuki all the best. Tuktuki is very excited because she's going to school for the first time. At the school the teacher (Sumona) introduces herself first to the children. And then the students say their names one by one. Everyone will get to know one another. Once the introduction part is over everyone will be talking to each other. Tuktuki and Montu also talks about a lot of stuff with their friends. Tuktuki will tell Montu about Halum, Ikri, Shiku and others. And Montu will tell her about his best friend Jhontu. Sumona will ask everybody how many students there are in the class all together. They'll count and say twelve. Later Sumona is going to sing a song of 'twelve' with everybody. Everybody will count themselves in turn and will sing the song of 'twelve'. Maize field. Later there's a scene were maize grains are crushed. 'Bha' for Bhutta (maize). Once the counting song is over everybody will start to draw as they wish. Sumon is drawing a bird's picture, Pinki will draw the moon's picture, and Montu is drawing the cloud's picture. But Tuktuki sits there depressed. Her picture doesn't happen to be nice. Later, Sumona will see the picture and will say to Tuktuki that it's an amazing picture. In this picture Tuktuki draws a group picture of herself with Halum, Ikri and Shiku. Then Tuktuki will get very happy and show the picture to everyone. The Banyan Square hosts Professor Ikri's school. Bijli, Sherali, Parboti, Pineapple, Tomato, Carrot, Shiku, Halum and all has come to the school. Everybody's really happy to have come to the school. But nobody knows what people do at a school. Later Tuktuki comes and tells everyone what she has done at school the whole day. Everyone sings the counting 'twelve' song.

Animals

Halum discovers a box as he plays under the Banyan tree. He opens the box and finds an animal inside it. Halum doesn't recognize the animal. This bird doesn't have wings so it couldn't be a bird, and then again it's not a fish either. Halum gets very worried. The animal has got whiskers like Halum and four legs as well. Then suddenly Shiku arrives and says to Halum that it's a kitten. Someone must have definitely lost her. Shiku sets off to find out the owner of the kitten. In the meanwhile Halum caresses the kitten. When the kitten begins meowing Halum understands that she must be hungry. He then thinks of taking the kitten to Mukul since he would know what this kitten eats. Mukul explains to Halum how to take care of a cat. Mukul gives milk to the cat. Halum will dance and sing to entertain the kitten. Then he'll plan that he'll make a house for the cat. And he'll buy copies, colors, pencils, etc. Everyone has brought their pets to the school field today. There's a vet here. The pets will be vaccinated to prevent them from catching any diseases. Nodee is missing her dad who's off on a business trip. So the crocodile, tiger and parrot relays this message to the moon. Halum is at the Banyan Square, talking and showing the kitten the new stuff he got for it. In the meantime Shiku arrives at the Banyan Square with a small girl and her mom. The girl's name is Shely. Shely immediately recognizes that it's her lost kitten. Then Halum gives the kitten to Shely. But he'll feel really bad about it. Shelly promises Halum that she'd sometimes bring her kitten to Sisimpur and let Halum know on the phone before she comes. She'll become Halum's friend. Halum will be very happy to make a new friend. Lastly, we count to 10 and learn about gadha (donkey) with the letter 'Ga'.

Shapes Around Me
Detective Shiku sets out with his assistants to find Kuddus Miah's friend-The square. One by one they recover the round circle and the triangle with three corners. But after a lot of trouble they manage to find the square with four sides and four corner. Khoka Miah goes to the Saladia hotel in the morning for breakfast. But Halum-the waiter, starts showing him sparkling new spoons, plates, bowls, towels,etc. Khoka Miah doesn't get a chance to say anything. And finally it's closing time for the hotel by the time Khoka Miah asks about breakfast. The washing up and cleaning up begins. Halum asks Khoka Miah to wait for the next morning - Khoka Miah faints on hearing that. The king wishes to eat a house made of shondesh (a type of Bangladeshi sweet). One by one Bhuto brings square shaped, triangular and circular shondesh with his magic. Then finally they make a house out of the square-shaped, triangular and circular shondesh. The house of shondesh is ready. The King becomes very happy. A song about how new toys can be made out of stuff that are usually not known to be worthy. Wrist watches and flutes can be made from coconut leaves. Balls can be made from straw and bits of dried grass. Toy cars can be made using twigs and leaves. Boats can me made out of paper or straw. This is a song of making many such new things out of otherwise useless stuff. There are different type of hats set nicely on the table. Tuktuki was describing the type of hats one wears. Like...cricketers' caps, girls' caps, ordinary caps, farmers' straw hats, etc. The hat-like bowl that we use to keep food. Ikri like the bowl. She loves wearing a bowl on her head. Lastly, we count to 9 and learn bout mango (Aam) with the letter 'A'.

A game of ' telling from guessing '. Detective Shiku is playing the game with his assistants Manik and Ratan. A type of thing that you can feel but can't see, that which blows away clothes. When it comes it brings a lot of things that comes flying and lands on the roof. After guessing hard Shiku's assistants figure out that when a huge storm blows them away. It's Sha's day today. Shiku and Ikri are playing with 'Sha' today. With 'Sha' we have Shirt, Sharath ( name of a season), Shari ( Sari), etc. But we have 'brishti' (rain) with 'Sha'. Shiku had no idea about that. Taking Shiku by surprise the skies pour brishti (rain) with 'Sha' as Ikri like Ikri asked. Shong is feeling cold so he wears five jackets one on top of another. Tuktuki is helping Halum in a lot of ways today. Like - baiting Halum's fishing hook, handing him the fishing basket, picking up the umbrella for Halum. Then we sing a song of the six seasons.

Musical Instruments
Songs along with the meal is the new addition at Hotel Saladia. Halum will introduce Khoka Miah with this new concept. When you eat fish the renowned singer Salauddin will sing a fish song. When you have fried gourd curry you'll hear the famous singer Chumki Rani singing the gourd song. We have a special song as well when you drink water. But Khoka Miah doesn't like any of these songs. He likes classical music. Halum assures Khoka Miah that it would be added too after a few months. Our singers will practice with famous music instructors and then only we could offer classical music to you. Khoka Miah is astonished, faints and falls over. In this segment, we see how the tabla (a drum like musical instrument) is made. Bhuto arrives in fantasy land with a flute. Does no one no how to dance here? Gunwaala, Konka and Hatim waltz's towards Bhuto as they hear the flute's tune. They just keep dancing non stop. Later, Bhuto stops playing the flute and they stop dancing as well. They have loads of fun with the tune of the magic flute. In this segment, we see how beautifully you can make a whistle out of mango seeds and how nice it sounds. Ikri is singing a classical song with 'tta', and Tuktuki is playing the Sitaar. Shiku is playing the tabla. Everyone is singing praise songs for 'tta'. Lastly, we count to 20 and learn about the gramophone.

Helping

Tuktuki looks for Sumona who can help her do braids. But Sumona isn't at home. Tuktuki's beat. Won't she get to braid her hair then? Mukul tries to help her. He wants to help her braid her hair. Tuktuki is really surprised. Mukul does the braid perfectly. Tuktuki becomes very happy. An ant tries desperately to get inside a sugar pot to eat sugar but doesn't manage to. Another ant comes and they think and bring a spoon. Then they climb the pot with the help of the spoon and get inside the pot and eat sugar. They have a lot of fun. Halum wants to sleep but Ikri wants to count to 13. So Ikri wants to know how long Halum would sleep. Ikri will count 1,2,3 up to 13 in this way. Halum would not be sleepy anymore. Now Halum wants to count. But Ikri's done counting by then. Ikri goes off cheerfully(saying hoi hoi). Halum stares in surprise. "Basket-like traps for catching fish are made using thin strips of bamboo. This is called 'Bom'. One end of the 'Bom' is closed with plants and weed and kept immersed under water. Fishes sneak in from the other side but can't get out. This segment has stories about catching fish with the 'Bom'. Parboti sings today with Halum's encouragement and help. She's very happy and amazed to be able to sing. They both sing together later. Lastly, we learn the letter A.

Books

The artist, Hashem Khan is reading the illustrated rhyme book that he himself drew. He's in Sisimpur today. Halum, Ikri, Tuktuki, Shiku and a lot of children have come to chat with him and have fun. They are looking at the pictures in the book and reading out the rhymes, and having a lot of fun. After sketching a picture on a computer, it's printed and then printing plates are made with the picture in a press machine. The plates are then used in a printing press to print pages after pages. The pages then go into binding with the help of needles and string. These books are then sold in bookstores. Mukul is putting up a name plate at his house. It says, "road no.7, house no.8". Shiku explains to Ikri, Halum and Tuktuki why we need a name plate. We use it so that anyone looking for the house can find it quickly.Now everyone gets busy writing name plates for themselves. A while later everyone returns with name plates. But everyone's name plate says, " road no.7, house no.8". Mukul finds that very amusing. Later Mukul explains to them that everyone needs to have different addresses. Halum wants to write a rhyme on the computer. Asha tells her about computers. Halum learns about keyboard, mouse, and the monitor. Finally Halum has an idea. He asks Asha to tell the computer to write a rhyme for him. Asha is surprised to hear that. Musings over pictures. An ox cart, a pigeon flying away, a cockatoo, boys swimming and a many other pictures come to mind. Halum has a wonderful song about reading books. Lastly, we learn about Chagol (goat) with the letter 'Cha'.

Festivals

Reporter Shahnaz Munni has come to Sisimpur since Inventor Shiku has a speech due. Shiku gives a groundbreaking speech about transforming old junk to new things. As for instance, his inventions include a toy car made out of a pack of biscuits by attaching wheels , a flower vase made out of a broken mug and such other things.After Shiku's declaration, everyone in Sisimpur rushes and gets various sorts of junk that are to be transformed into new things. A wonderful song about local festivals like Eid, Christmas, Durga Puja, Buddha Purnima, etc. Today's foundation day at the library. Due to this occasion, the renowned librarian Palan Sarkar will visit the Sisimpur Library today. Everyone's very busy. Halum wants to give his book ' Fish and trees' as a present to Palan Sarkar and Ikri wants to give a bouquet of flowers. After sometime, when the chief guest arrives, everyone gets even busier. They are all exuberant. The Sisimpur Band performs a song at the foundation day program. The song mentions several books that can be found in the library. Lastly, we learn about "Pho"(bengali letter) for Phool (Flowers) and count to 6 with 3 boys and 3 girls.

Problem Solving
Water expert Halum is researching on different types of water. Then the exhausted and thirsty Shobuj Miah asks Halum for water. Halum tells him about river-water, sea-water, water from waterfalls, water from ditches,etc. Shobuj Miah gets desperate for water. At last Halum suggests that he drink water from the tube well marked green because water from the tube well marked green is clean and safe. Today's letter is 'Ha'. Everyone's busy trying to find things that starts with a 'Ha'. No one finds a thing and they return disappointed and empty handed, and sneezing on their way back. Amidst this Tuktuki finds out the 'Ha'. Well, that's because there's 'ha' in hachi (sneeze), in haath (hand), and in hotash (disappointed). Everybody is delighted to find out things starting with a 'ha'. Kawsar and his sister lives in a slum. They make a television from a used box. Their friends from the other parts of the slum get really happy to see their television. Then later they all have a great deal of fun with this television. The King craves for comfort. Some stay quiet, some sing songs for him, but nothing brings him comfort. Finally, Hatim reads a story book to the King and the comfort makes Hatim himself doze off to sleep. The King takes the book from Hatim and continues reading it pleasurably. "Ikri sings questions and wants to know the answer to a lot of things: "Why Sherali crows, how she crows, why the pole keeps falling, why the hat flies away, Why hair moves? What you do with a pen?" When you ask questions you can learn a lot of things. That's why Ikri asks a lot of questions to learn new stuff.

Sound Pattern & Rhythm
The renown director Tuktuki is ready with her shooting unit. Horbola Shimlu is ready too. 'horbola' is someone who mimic different animal sounds. Horbola Shimlu is going to moo like a cow today. But he can't moo no matter what today. Tuktuki is not happy about this. Finally Parboti comes and teaches the 'mooing' to Shimlu. "Today's play-Khoyer Khan'. written and directed by: Parboti."Khani(treasure) means the place where there're a lot of things hidden under the ground . Khoyer Khan will dig and bring out 'Kha' from the ground. Khalil, is ready as the assistant..They find and bring khuloy (basket), khaja one at a time.And finally they find the much waited for 'Kha'. Vegetable champion Halum comes up to help Akkas Miah cross the street. But Akkas Miah knows how to cross the street. First you have to wait when you see the zebra crossing. Then when the traffic light goes red, and when rickshaws and cars stop moving first you have to look to your right then to the left. Then you have to cross the road over the zebra crossing. Adults can cross the streets by themselves but children need to hold the hand of elders when they cross the road. With no other choices left the vegetable champion Halum thanks Akkas Miah and leaves. The tribal children are practicing bamboo dance for the show at kumta. They are stepping and dancing in sync with the rhythm.

Do you get it?" . It appears that Halum understood it all and saying, " That's not a problem at all", he starts dressing Khoka Miah. Now Khoka Miah got really mad. Eventually Khoka Miah does look like Baker bhai, but when he hears from Halum that he has to wait for another week for the film to arrive and thus for the picture to be taken, he faints. Tuktuki arrives at a flute makers house on today's expedition. Today she's going to see how flutes are made and is going to learn how to make one. Flute-maker, Dulal, shows her how to make a flute and shows her how to play it nicely. He gives Tuktuki a flute as a present. All favorite things that Thandu Miah has starts with the letter 'Tha'. That's why he loves 'Tha' so much. His name itself starts with a 'tha'. Thandu Miah loves to say poems that starts with a 'Tha'. We end the day singing about different kinds of gamcha.

But Tomato is jogging, so he doesn't need any help.Tomato explains to Halum that jogging keeps us healthy therefore he prefers jogging slowly rather than flying. Madrasa boys make a football out of hay and rope. They have a lot of fun playing with that ball. Later, we watch them play tug of war: Two teams are playing a game of Tug of war. After noticing the handkerchief Mukul was holding, Tuktuki starts making several guesses without letting Mukul talk. Finally, Tuktuki is blown away by the strength of the sneeze delivered by Mukul. After she returns, she proudly says, "I knew from before that you were carrying that handkerchief cause you wanted to sneeze." People drink water due to thirst caused by various reasons. Some people drink water because they're exhausted after playing a game of cricket, some drink water because they have hiccups, cows, soil, hens and cocks, even plants need water.

Playing the role of the bird is the stage breaking actors, Sherali and Bijli. They're savoring the taste of the papaya. Suddenly, the letter 'Paw' pops out of the papaya. Halum is going to have 3 fishes today. He'll eat them one by one. After having one of the 3 fishes, 2 fishes are left - and after having one of the 2 fishes, one fish is left. This is how Halum, through eating the fish, demonstrates the method of subtraction. The tribal people make 'Dainna Pitha'. Sunned rice, coconut and cocoa are needed to make this pie. Later, we learn the difference between heavy and light. Then we sing a song about milk and its benefits.

Safi lives in a forest. She is going to buy books, with her father. On her way she sees different types of people doing different types of jobs. This is how she becomes acquainted with the concept of neighbors. Tuktuki can't find her 54,321 friends, which is why she has come to detective Shiku. Detective Shiku with the help of his crew, finds Tuktuki's friends. The king wants to see his own nose, mouth and eyes. The ministers can't figure how to fulfill the king's wish. Finally Konka appears with a huge mirror. The king is delighted to see his own nose, mouth and eyes. Bahadur searches every nook and cranny for his friends but can't find anyone. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri, Shiku- where did everyone go? Meanwhile, they're all playing hide and seek with Bahadur. In the end, they all come out. Bahadur is glad to have found everyone. Now its Bahadur's turn to hide. - everyone else is going to look for him. Lastly, we learn the Bengali letter 'Maw'.

Halum's newspaper sales center. There's a variety of news found in the paper. Shiku, Tuktuki, Asha all visit Halum's shop to read different types of fascinating news. On the last page of the newspaper there's a small article. - Fishing Festival today at Sisimpur River. Halum leaves the shop visitor, Gunimoyra in charge of the shop and rush out to go fishing. Gunimoyra looks on, amazed. 6 year old Shammo has gone to see the dense sal forests, along with his father. He notices really tall palm trees and several tiny huts. He learns from his father that Buddhist monks used to meditate inside these huts during ancient times. He really enjoys his trip to the sal forest. This is a palanquin that requires six bearers. Six people have to carry it on their shoulders. The bearers are the ones who carry it on their shoulders. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri, Shiku, Manik, Ratan- these six friends are going to play the palanquin game today. A song about staying healthy and fit. It is possible to stay healthy and fit by brushing your teeth regularly, eating different types of fruits and vegetables. Lastly, we learn Sha' (bengali letter) for 'Shaar' (bull).

Halum is drawing a picture. Date tree, people wearing gloves trying to light a fire. Misty atmosphere. A beautiful picture. Halum thinks the picture is portraying summer. Shiku explains to Halum that it's a picture of winter because its misty in winter and that's also when people wearing gloves try to light fire. Date fruits ripen during winter as well. Foreign birds, from distant lands, have migrated to our country. They'll return to their homelands once winter is over. The lake is filled with guest birds. How beautiful it is to behold them. Two letters are needed to write 'Bok'( crane). Ikri talks to the crane and asks it to fly to her. But Shiku explains to Ikri that it isn't a real crane therefore it can't fly. Badshah is plucking lilies from the pond along with his mother. He sells these flowers in the market and with the money earned, his mother buys him a pen and a copy ad some chocolates. Bhuto and Ganwala want to fly a kite but even after several attempts they fail to fly it. They call Konka. Konka says that there is no wind. The wind has to blow in order for the kite to fly. They try to create a wind with a hand fan but the kite doesn't fly. Finally, Bhuto blows a wind through magic and due to this wind, the kite flies, hair blows and saris fly. Halum is singing a song about the six seasons. Every season has a distinctive feature but the most fascinating thing is that fish is available during all the six seasons. Hence Halum is appeased after having fish.

Asha makes a paper bird for Halum and Ikri, then she puts a band aid on Halum's bruised arm and finally talks to Polash over the phone.This is how Asha does a lot of things as a mother, she looks after everyone, takes care of them,plays with them. Thus Halum, Ikri and Shiku, all want to be ideal mothers like Asha. The 'matawala' and his wife are sweating due to the heat, while making 'mata. Their pet cat notices this and arrives with a hand fan. They relax in the breeze created by the hand fan.Then they get back to work. Halum is watching a pretty little butterfly. Ikri has come to Halum since she wants to count till eleven with him. On the other hand, Halum doesn't feel like counting. Ikri tricks Halum into counting. Rubber plantation. This segment illustrates how the juice is extracted from the rubber trees and is then taken to the factory where it is converted to different sorts of things with the help of the machine. Bhuto's sewing machine isn't spinning. He blows air into it. But it still doesn't spin. Finally, after listening to Konka's advice, she oils the machine and the machine starts spinning almost immediately. Shiku, Ikri, Tuktuki, Halum, Gunimoyra and Asha are all different from each other, but they're all friends. They're singing the song of diversity. Lastly, we learn Paw' for ' Pathor' (stone).

Health is Wealth
Bahadur enters the bathroom carrying soap, towel, a rubber duck and cricket gloves. When Tuktuki asks about the gloves, he explains that what if someone is playing cricket and that ball happens to fly in through the bathroom window? He'll have to catch it then so that it doesn't hit his rubber duck. Tuktuki is amazed and tells Bahadur that no ball is going to hit his duck. You can be sure. Bahadur re enters the bathroom but a ball flies through his window after sometime. Tuktuki is truly taken aback. Prapti visits the clinic along with her mother, in order to get vaccinated. The doctor examines her and injects her arms with vaccines . Now Prapti is safe. She can no longer be affected by diseases. She and her mother are very happy. Halum and Shiku are two friends thus whatever they do from now on will be in pairs. They sit on two seats. They have two glasses in front of them. Two plates with two fish. Everything's in two. Today they'll have everything in two. Today Ikri's going to help Shemai Ali learn how to wash hands. Anuva gains a lot of energy after having fruits. She stays fit. A song about drinking mineral water. Water quenches fatigue.Gets rid of hiccups. Water is need to stay healthy and fit. Water is needed if to play sports as well.

Shiku and Ikri are playing the ' Heavy and Light' game.They lift both heavy and light stuff, one by one like boxes, ping pong balls, harmonium, feathers, etc. Shiku, thinking that the balloon is light, gets carried away with it. Shiku is flabbergasted. Rahman sir builds a Shahid Minar along with his students from the class using bamboos, colorful papers and glue. They take a bouquet of flowers to the Shahid Minar on the 21st of February. Today's letter is 'Haw'. Everyone is busy looking for things in "Haw". But when the search fails, some people sneeze (Hacchi), some return with empty hands( Haat) and some feel hopeless (Hotash). Tuktuki finds 'Haw' within these because Hacchi, Hotash and Haat all contain the letter 'Haw'. Everyone figures that it's a duck from the footprints, wings, beaks and the quack. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri and Shiku makes up a rhyme.

The kids have to guess who Bahadur is thinking of.After seeing a postbox, the kids guess that Bahadur is thinking of a postman. After seeing a Rickshaw, the kids guess that he is thinking of a rickshaw puller.After seeing a fire station, they say a fire fighter. But Halum, who has been accompanying them all along think that Bahadur was thinking of a fire fighter all along. Because Halum himself is a fire fighter. A rail track borders the village. A train travels through it everyday. Seeing this, the village kids make their own toy train by joining their wooden toy cars together. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri, Shiku, Manik, Ratan-these six are going to play the game of six palanquiners. They all appear one by one. The game starts however after sometime, the palanquin breaks into two. Everyone is blown off in different directions. Everyone enjoys the game immensely. Today Tuktuki has gone out on a train journey. She talks to the ticket man, the train operator and figures out how the train works. Bahadur the peddler is touring the entire Sisimpur while singing. Lastly, we learn "Naw" for "Nouka"(boat) and hear a rhyme regarding the catfish (boal mach).

Bahadur is carrying his cart full of vegetables....noticing him from above, vegetable Halum thinks that Bahadur is not being able to sell the vegetables. Thus Halum carries the vegetables while singing a nice song. Mukul, Asha Tuktuki come and buy all the vegetables .Bahadur is dumbfounded since he didn't want to sell the vegetables he wanted to have it himself. Numerous animals inhabit our vicinity, such as dogs, cats, goats, ducks and hens. They call out in various manners. This song is made up of their calls. Ikri has come to Gunimoyra's shop with a paper box since she wants to buy eight eggs. However, eights eggs do not fit into the box. Ikri then brings an enormous box in which she could place the eggs. Gunimoyra stares at Ikri in amazement. A 'table' is made out of the root and skin of the neem tree. At first, the body is made out of the root of the neem tree. Then the body is opened up so that a hollow is created on the inside. Ikri gains a lot of knowledge from asking questions to Sherali, Mukul and Gunimoyra. He asks questions through a song. Today, Ikri will help Shemai Ali learn how to smell as well as learn "Paw" for Pakhi.

Halum is looking forward to a good sleep due to the beautiful weather. However his sleep is being interrupted all the time by either Ikri or Shiku or sometimes even Bahadur. Halum is sleeping but Ikri wants his help so that she can count till 13. Ikri cautiously counts till 13 with the help of Halum. On the other hand, Halum is no longer sleepy. After getting out of the bed in the morning, breakfast is served immediately and then there is a lot of studying, playing and showering to do and then back to the bed at night. This is how we start and end our day with the bed every day and night. The king needs to relax. Some ask to stay shut while others sing. But the king finds nothing relaxing. Finally, Hatim , while reading out a story to the king, falls asleep himself. Then the King takes the book away from Hatim and starts reading it himself. Dogs, cats, goats, ducks and hens, horses, rabbits- all sleep differently. Some sleep while standing, while some sleep leaning and some lie down. This segment shows various animals sleeping. Tuktuki is singing a song on how to stay fit and healthy and learn "Bhaw" for "Bhera"(Sheep).

Everyone is participating in the "Do as you can competition". Halum is going to sing, Tuktuki will recite a poem, Shiku will dance and Ikri is going to act. But who is she going to act like, that's what Ikri is wondering about. Ikri is watching everyone practice. Everyone is practicing with great concentration. But Ikri can't figure who she's going to act like. Halum asks Ikri to act like a stage actor, Tuktuki tells her to act like a novel reader,and Shiku tells her to act like him and therefore dance. Who should Ikri act like? She keeps thinking. Halum sang a song, Tuktuki recited a poem, Shiku danced, now it's Ikris turn.What's she going to act like? She acts out how Halum, Tuktuki, Shiku helped her. But she still can't figure who she's actually going to act like. But she realizes that she has already acted out only when the audience starts clapping. Ikri is both delighted and surprised. Then we learn the letter "dhaw".

Me & My Friends
Ikri is going to write a letter to Polash and Asha is helping her. Ikri has a lot to to know from Polash. Is there a Banyan Tree at Polash's school, is there a field? What does he do in the evenings? Can he see the moon in the sky at night? Can he hear Sherali's calls, etc.? After being done writing the letter, Asha puts it in an envelope, writes down the address, seals it then hands it to Ikri. Then they go to the postbox and Ikri slips the letter in. The schoolchildren are going to draw graffiti with brushes, color and paint. They're drawing rivers, fields and vibrant kites. All of Thandu Mia's favorite things start with the Bengali letter "Thha". That's why he is in love with "Thha". Even his name starts with the letter "Thha". He even loves reciting poems with a lot of "Thha". Tribal children are having a lot of fun playing the game of spinning plates on fingers. They teach the new boy how to play the game. After several attempts, when the new boy finally gets the hang of the game, he is really happy.

Once again Khokamia has run into waiter Halum at the Saladia Hotel. This time he wants to have frumenty with raisins and nuts. Seven days time is needed to prepare this dish. After listening to Halum say this, Khokamia passes out. Tumpa brushes her teeth. Go up and then go down. That's how you brush your teeth. Ikri will help Shemai Ali learn how to comb his hair today. The village kids make stumps,flags,etc. so that they could play at the cricket tournament held at the next village field.They're exhilarated to be able to play with the equipment they made themselves. Halum and Shiku are two friend. Today, they'll do everything in pairs.They sit on two chairs.Two glasses are placed in front of them.Two plates with two fish are placed in front of them.Everything's double.Today everything they do is double. A song on drinking milk. This song talks about the nutrition value of milk. Lastly, we learn "Chhaw" for Chhagol (Goat).

Natural Arts & Performance
Sisimpur's artist Kanakchapa has come to watch Tuktuki and gang draw pictures. Tuktuki is painting with a brush, Shiku is using color pencils while Ikri is using crayons to draw pictures. After seeing them draw, Kanakchapa also joins in. However, she draws using seeds from this vegetable. Tuktuki can't find her friend "Rhha", which is why she has come to seek help from Detective Shiku.With the help of the artist Mr. Leonardo, Detective Shiku and his gang retrieve Ikri's friend "Rhha". A bunch of kids are drawing the number 19 on a huge white canvas with the help of a paintbrush. Today, Ikri is going to teach Shemai Ali how to jump rope. After several failed attempts, Shemai Ali finally learns how to jump ropes. Tuktuki is learning how to build a rickshaw from the Rickshaw maker and she is very excited about her newly acquired knowledge.

Tuktuki and her rooster Sherali are the guests of the day for 'Shiku's Can You Tell'.Today they're going to play the game of matching letters. Shiku names a letter and the rooster almost immediately names another letter that matches. Shiku is stunned. Then we sing a song regarding the different sorts of sports and gaming activities in Bangladesh and learn Maw' for Mathal (Hat). Ganwala opens the window to see flashes in the sky. He calls Bhuto out of fear. Once Bhuto arrives, he takes a ladder up to the sky and tries to glue it together. But the flashes don't stop. Finally Konka arrives and asks them to call The Sun. Bhuto telephones The Sun. Once the Sun comes up, the lightning stops. Everyone dances in joy. The village houses are made out of clay. They look really nice. They look even nicer when you draw designs on them. That's why the little boy , along with his parents, is painting multicolored designs on the clay house. Designs of fish, flowers and fruits and handprints adorn the clay house. Lastly, a group of twenty is headed towards the Sisimpur Bengali New Year Festival 'Baishakhi Mela'. They count in sync with Tuktuki's song.

Khokamia is at the Saladia restaurant for breakfast. He is determined to not get mad today. Waiter Halum arrives at the table and tries his best not to upset Khokamia. In order to calm him, Halum brings a book and a cassette player so that Khokamia can keep himself distracted by reading the book and listening to the music. This segment is about the tribal people and their different professions. People from various professional backgrounds such as-farmers, boatmen, doctors,taxi drivers, school teachers, lawyers, fishermen, 'Tatis',etc. Today's show is Khayer Kha, which is directed and produced by Parboti. A 'khoni' is a place from where hidden artifacts are found during an excavation.Khayer Kha digs out the Khoni to find the letter "Khaw". His sidekick, Khalil is ready and they find lots of other things as well such as baskets (Kholui) and dates (Khaja). Finally, they find the much sought after letter, "khaw". The little bird is sitting on the branch of the tree and singing out in joy: "Oh the air and the skies are filled with joy". The crow sitting beside the little bird is upset because he can't sing. The little bird encourages the crow to try singing and after a few attempts the crow is able to sing. Leanne's family is about to have a new family member. The baby is still hidden inside the mom's belly which is why he is called Hiddybiddy. Leanne and her dad are making new toys for the baby. After a few days, Leanna has a a baby brother. Leanne is very happy to have a baby brother.

It might be something that is found in one picture but not in the other. At the nick of time, Halum spots that one of the pictures has a fish while the other doesn't. Shiku is stunned by Halum's observational powers. Making bubbles from foaming soaps. The boys and girls are making bubbles at the village pond. The bubbles dribble across the pond before bursting. They all find this very amusing. Tuktuki goes on a trip to the Lalbagh fort. She is mesmerized by the monuments there and also gets to see the family graveyard. Today, Ikri is going to help Shemai Ali learn how to wear sandals. After a few attempts, Shemai Ali learns how to wear sandals. Bipasha, the actress, is visiting Sisimpur today. She sings a song about the Bengali letter "Baw" to Tuktuki, Ikri, Halum and Shiku. "Baw" for bat, ball, books, borsha (Monsoon) and such. As a matter of fact, even 'Bipasha' starts with the letter "Baw".

Today's play at Parboti's Theatre is called 'The Tiger and The Fox Drink from The Same River.' The tiger is waiting for his friend , The Fox, to come to the river so that they could drink together, but it doesn't seem like The Fox is anywhere near. After waiting for a long while, The Fox finally arrives and they drink together. The handicapped artist, Bari has come to Sisimpur today to sing with Tuktuki. Tuktuki Dances while he sings. Different types of flashy hairdos. The boys and girls look fabulous with their new hairstyles. Mukul is putting up a number plate at his residence. It says, " Road 7, House 8". Mukul explains toIkri, Halum, Shiku and Tuktuki why a number plate is important. It helps others find the house easily. Then everyone gets busy preparing their own number plates. After sometime, they all return with their number plates. However, they all say " Road 7, House 8". This cracks Mukul up. Finally, Mukul explains to everyone that each of their house numbers is different from the others. Sushantika has gone uphill with her grandpa to collect Jharu flowers. They dry these flowers and make brooms(Jharu) from them.Then they sell it in the market. We end the day with a song about Gamcchas (a type of towel). The song talks about the different uses of a Gamchha. We also learn "Daw" for Dolna (Swing).

He has taken care of everything including how she'd brush her teeth, what she'd eat, how she'd relax, take care of her hare, etc.But the Queen is not satisfied. How is she going to live without her ministers and the castle? That's why Gopal Bhar plant trees and plants near the castle. The little girl from the hills has gone uphill with her mother to collect water from the waterfall.She collects the water with the help of this special bamboo stick. Holes are made in the bamboo stick. Pure water drips from these holes This method of purification is called 'Tuglok'. Today, we play the game of drawing things that start with the letter "Ghaw", at Parboti's Theatre. Shiku drew a clock (Ghori), Tuktuki drew a kite (Ghuri), Halum drew a house (ghor) and Ikri drew a dog (Kukur) but Kukur doesn't start with the letter "ghaw". But a dog's bark sounds like a "Gheo Gheo". A story regarding sunrises and sunsets. People get busy as soon as the sun is up and darkness sets in along with sundown. Then you have to work with the lights on. The flower has wilted due to water deficiency. However, two intelligent ants find ways to revive it. We end the day with Sherali and Bijli's song. A song about their families.

Today's lesson is to call someone by that person's name. It's a lesson on how we can call a person by different names. Ikri calls out her name a couple of times and each time, it sounds different. Almost immediately, Manik, Ratan, Bijli, Sherali and Ikri repeat her name. The village kids are playing with a new type of flute. They're making the flute themselves. They make this flute out of mango seeds. Miss 'U' is visiting Sisimpur today. Therefore everyone has come to see her and they've all brought different types of presents for her. Asha has brought an oven (Unun), Parboti wrote a song for U, Ikri along with Manik Ratan make tag lines for her and Halum's flying fish flies her to Sisimpur. Tuktuki wants braid her hair but Shumona's not home. Who's going to braid her hair? She gets upset. Mukul wants to braid her hair. Tuktuki is a little taken aback. However Mukul braids her hair really nicely. Tuktuki is very happy. A villager is making Shitol Pati using the skin of a Mutra Tree. The children are helping their mother. A beautiful Shitol Pati is made once the designs, painted red, are completed. Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri and Shiku are going to play the family game today. One of them is going to be the mother, while one will be the father and the others, the son and the daughter. The game is a lot of fun. They play this game while singing.

Halum can't find the flower plant seeds, that is why he has some to Detective Shiku. Detective Shiku interrogate him and finally figures where the seeds are. Halum leave the plants on the soil so that they dry in the sunlight. He then leaves for a two day long vacation at his Uncle's place. Since it rains for the next two days, the plant starts growing. That's why Halum couldn't find his seeds. Halum is amazed by Shiku's skills. The boys and girls are trying out different animal costumes. Some are dressed as kangaroos while some are as elephants, etc. Through much hard work, Shemai Ali is going to learn to button his shirt. Ikri helps him with this. Sherali is upset. Her calls don't sound right. Bijli tries to cheer her up. After being encouraged by Bijli she practices her calls and significantly improves. She is very happy. Ikri is singing a folk song about the letter "Thaw". Shiku is playing the tabla while Tuktuki is playing the tanpura. Both tabla and tanpura start with the letter 'Thaw'.
