Amelie's goal is to impress the GB coaches and secure a place in the Olympic team. Meanwhile, Nile Wilson returns to Gym Stars for another challenge, determined to win after losing in Series 2. He sets a strength test for the Acro Squad to determine who has the strongest biceps. Lastly, Madi selects Alice Kinsella, the 2018 Commonwealth Games champion and 2019 European Champion on the beam, as her top gymnast for the Olympics.

Superstar gymnasts Joe Fraser and Dom Cunningham are back with a new 'tuck-back' challenge for the trampolinists which sends everyone's head spinning. Youngest member Codi must stay composed, and oldest Winston fights for his last chance in his current age group. Elite gymnasts Amelie and Phoebe pursue scholarships at American Universities, balancing their studies and gymnastic aspirations. They return to mainstream school to focus on grades, with Phoebe being scouted by coaches from her desired university. The Men's Four at the Acro gym are preparing for the British Acro Championships, with Coach Nikki bringing in Vegas Star Acrobatic Performer Barnaby for inspiration. Nile Wilson presents a challenge for Alice, and Kelly Simm is the top Gym Stars gymnast this week.

It's all change for synchro trampoline gymnastic pair Alannah and Morgan as they've had to split as a pair because they're jumping at different heights. Morgan has been given a lovely new partner Evie, but Alannah is still waiting for her new partner to be found. As the girls say, it's just what happens when you're a trampolinist, and they're determined not to let this affect their friendship so are busy making plans for life outside the gym. It's competition day for Birmingham Boys Tremaine, Zion, Winston and Codi at the Men's Artistic National Championships. The competition is at the boy's home gym so they're not short of supporters, and of course they have each other for encouragement and advice. How will Codi get on at his first national competition? And will Zion, Trumaine and Winston do well enough to get a place on the GB squad This week's Gym Stars Top 20 gymnast is world team champion trampoline gymnast Laura Gallagher, who trains at the same gym as Alannah and Morgan.

Harry and George are hoping to make a big impact and superstar choreographer Andrew has been called in to fine tune the boy's performance which Coach Nicky hopes will give them the edge. Up in Liverpool, it's not a great start for one of the team who's forgotten his training leotard, and the boys are hoping that the dramatic storm outside isn't a sign of Coach Nicky's fury. The Men's Four face some stiff competition, and Choreographer Andrew is confident his star duo Jordan and Ella are going to do him proud and show Nicky who the real winner is. But its Harry and George who have it all to play for as they go out on the floor hoping to do their team proud and take home a medal. Acrobatic gymnast Dove picks rhythmic gymnast Mimi-Isabella Cesar as her top 20 gymnast because of her grace and beautiful performances.

Despite jet lag, the boys explore Tokyo before the competition intensifies. In the UK, trampoline gymnast Corey faces a crucial day as he trains with the British Senior Squad for Olympic selection. Struggling with an injury, Corey visits the physio for an assessment that will determine if he can continue training or withdraw from Worlds, shattering his 2020 Olympic dream. Gymnast Codi selects Courtney Tulloch as his Top 20 Gymnast, revealing why Courtney earned the nickname 'Lord of the Rings.'

It's all change at the Acro gym. There's a surprise new partnership announced when coach Nikki decides to pair up Dylan and Nyree. This is a big challenge for Nyree as she's never been in a mixed pair before - and what's more, Nikki wants to get the pair ready for the Acro World Championships in just a few weeks' time. Meanwhile Finn, Kirsten and Dove have all made life changing decisions - and Dove is about to see what it's like being on the 'other side' when she becomes coach for some of the younger gymnasts. Meanwhile Amelie and Phoebe have been invited to Lillishall for an exclusive Olympic training camp - only eight female gymnasts have been invited, and it's likely the Olympic squad of four will be chosen from this group. The Birmingham boys take on Nile and Luke in the 'standing-long-jump' challenge ... and we all know who Chase is going to choose as his Gym Stars Top 20 gymnast - none other than his all-time hero Max Whitlock.

It's been an unforgettable season for our Gym Stars - we've seen them become National, British and Team Champions, and they've continued to make us so proud as they've shone in competitions around the world. But almost overnight everything has changed as the country has gone into lockdown, gyms have been closed, and all the competitions our Gym Stars have been training for so hard have been cancelled. But even a pandemic won't stop our Gym Stars from training - or having fun - and acro gymnasts Dylan and Nyree have come up with a very special 'Lock Down Competition' and all our Gym Stars are getting involved. Chase's sisters Tia and Alex chose our very own Amelie Morgan as the final Gym Stars Top 20 Gymnast, and Chase himself is set the last Gym Stars challenge of the series.
