Tonio, who all believe dead, reaches Switzerland where he finds Olga and their son. Melina, meanwhile, threatened by the Mafia, leaves her home and her husband Santi, and returns to Sicily with their children. Sirenuse also comes back to Rodolfo, nephew of Fred of Venanzio, whose uncle entrusts the task of recovering the money hidden by Tonio Fortebracci. Olga is undergoing a major car accident, and before she dies, she entrusts to their son Tonio with the promise not to be raised as a mafioso.

While Tonio in prison refuses to cooperate with the judiciary, Santi was contacted by Maffei, a corrupt commissioner who, downloaded by Di Venanzio, decided to collaborate. Rodolfo, however, succeeds in killing the traitor, also injuring the judge. So Melina goes to her husband's bedside, while Rodolfo, morbidly tied to her sister Carmela, first kills her boyfriend and then gives her a bride to Dr. Fidemi, a man of dubious manhood, just to cover the drama he has been abused for years.

Saints, before leaving the magistrate, identifies with the help of Alma Vinci the assassin of Cantavalle and Maffei, is Rodolfo di Venanzio. This feeling hurt, and despite Fred's ban, he kills Judge Saints. Even the little Nicolas, Tonio's son, dies in the attack. Tonio agrees to collaborate with the new magistrate, Francesca De Santis, and returns to Sicily to find the killer of her son and brother.

While Tonio, according to the agreements with Francesca, attempts to regain the trust of the bosses of Sirenuse, Rodolfo, with the help of Assunta, kidnaps Dario with the intent of asking for a ransom to woman Rosangela: those money will serve him to buy the drug provided by Lebanese Karim. Rosangela, then, asks for help from Tonio. Unfortunately, the events precipitate: Dario and Assunta lose their lives overwhelmed by Rodolfo Di Venanzio's murderous folly.

Tonio, who, through Don Raffaele's intercession, cares for Carmela, falls in love, but when she discovers the identity of the girl, she runs away. Obtained the trust of Fred Di Venanzio, he can contact Rodolfo, setting a meeting through Karim. Donna Rosangela, meanwhile, destroyed by the loss of her children and even after the conversations with her confessor, pretends to be a freak, triggering the wrath of the bosses who order her death.

Tonio and Carmela find themselves and decide to marry with the blessing of Uncle Fred who designates Fortebracci as his successor. Tonio, however, persuaded by Fortunato, kills Rodolfo, thus losing the beloved who leaves Sicily. Francesca, meanwhile, learns from the Little Witch that the true assassin of Saints and Nicolas is Lucky and communicates it to Tonio. He tries to kill the last of Di Venanzio, but he shoots at Tonio faster.
