Beginning of the journey in Cape Town: on a hill near Cape Town Ismaël meets Siviwe Mbinda, they look around and see the Table Mountain, the Robben Island and also the Cape Town Stadium at Green Point (built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup), then they cross the famous neighborhood of Bo-Kaap with the colorful houses: in the butchery Armand Viljoen proposes them the "bilton", dried meat of beef, kudu or springbok.Then Siviwe and Ismaël speak about the apartheid and they go to the township of Longa where Siviwe is born: They meet Isabella Nordenfjord, the companion of Siviwe and visit the township: in a container a family has installed a Beauty Hair Salon, then they go to the Happy Feet center where young boys and girls of the township learn traditional dances.In the other great township of Khayelitsha the violinist Maria Botha, who has lived in France and returned to South Africa, helps the young boys and girls to learn playing violin and the Ziz Zap Association is helping young boys and girls to become circus acrobats.Later Ismaël and Siviwe have a paragliding flight over Cape Town.Then Ismaël travels by airplane to Port Elizabeth and by car to Kirkwood where he meets Laurence Armand who manages the "Molo Lolo" guesthouse which is also a cooking school.At the butchery of Kirwood they buy Kudu meat and Laurence shows Ismaël the traditional Xhosa huts for the guests.On the next day Ismaël goes to the Addo National Park with Emmanuel Paradaza, a ranger and guide: they see in the savanna elephants, kudus, lions , buffaloes and zebras.Back to the guesthouse Ismaël and the young cook Cindy Madini harvest lettuce and coriander and prepare the supper, eland meat with millet paste, vegetables and sauces.Then Ismaël returns to Cape Town: in Boulders (Table Mountain National Park) he sees the African penguins at the seaside and then with Peter Van der Linde he visits the Penguin rescue center.Finally Ismaël travels to Stellenbosch and meets there Viviane Kleynhans, who manages with her sisters a vineyard and produces wine: the government helped African people to enter in the wine industry: Ismaël and Viviane taste a Chardonnay wine. Besides we see zooms about the former yacht of Jacqueline Onassis who has been transformed into a luxury hotel, about the "Pride of Africa" a luxury train traveling from Cape Town to Tanzania, about the Inverdoorn animal rescue center managed by Damien Vergnaud in which they protect the white rhinoceros and cheetahs (two endangered species of animal), about the sports in Cape Town (soon in the morning the people enjoy practicing yoga, aerobics, paddle board, surfing and kite surfing and about the great white shark (shark spotters are observing every day the sea near Muizenberg and publish advice for the swimmers and surfers) and the cage diving business.

Beginning of the journey in Syracuse (Sicily): Tiga goes to the market where she meets Marco Cappuccio, the fishmonger and guitarist who is singing.Then Tiga and Marco walk through Ortygia, the old town of Syracuse: they see the Apollo's temple (built in 4th century before Christus) and arrive at a terrace where they enjoy the sight on the the Porto Grande of Syracuse.Then they see Artemisia's Fountain .They arrive at the Piazza del Duomo and visit the cathedral ( former temple of the goddess Athena), later they go to the shop of Alfredo Mauceri , a puppeteer who makes puppets and they visit the puppet theater . finally they go to a restaurant and eat a tuna tuna sandwich. Then Tiga travels to Toarmina: she goes to the shop of Roberto, the king of the "cannoli" and tastes a cannolo filled with ricotta , almonds, orange and lemon.After that she goes to the the shop "Don Corleone" where she meets Antonio Forlin, the potter who makes pottery heads ( a Sicilian tradition), they walk through the town and look at the heads in the buildings and they go to the Greek-Roman Theater of Taormina.Then Tiga invites Antonio to a helicopter flight over the Etna Volcano.Later Tiga is in Ragusa where she meets Heloïse Hascoët and they walk through the town looking at the Baroque architecture of the buildings: they see the Duomo of San Giorgio (many rich Silicians have built there own churches),then they meet Damiano Rotello, the painter of the famous Silician Charriots,They meet also Corrado Arrezzo who invites them to visit his castle.,Later they go to the restaurant where they meet Salvatore Puglisi, the husband of Heloïse, they eat mackerels and prawns prepared with butter.Later they Tiga and Heloïse visit the castle of the Arrezzo family.After that Tiga travels to Enna where she meets Maurizio Stellino (Mandorleto Estate): they make a horseback riding through the countryside and Tiga tastes almonds.In the night the family shares with Tiga a margherita pizza and a dish of eggplants. Beginning of the journey in Cape Town: on a hill near Cape Town Ismaël meets Siviwe Mbinda, they look around and see the Table Mountain, the Robben Island and also the Cape Town Stadium at Green Point (built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup), then they cross the famous neighborhood of Bo-Kaap with the colorful houses: in the butchery Armand Viljoen proposes them the "bilton", dried meat of beef, kudu or springbok.Then Siviwe and Ismaël speak about the apartheid and they go to the township of Longa where Siviwe is born: They meet Isabella Nordenfjord, the companion of Siviwe and visit the township: in a container a family has installed a Beauty Hair Salon, then they go to the Happy Feet center where young boys and girls of the township learn traditional dances.In the other great township of Khayelitsha the violinist Maria Botha, who has lived in France and returned to South Africa, helps the young boys and girls to learn playing violin and the Ziz Zap Association is helping young boys and girls to become circus acrobats.Later Ismaël and Siviwe have a paragliding flight over Cape Town.Then Ismaël travels by airplane to Port Elizabeth and by car to Kirkwood where he meets Laurence Armand who manages the "Molo Lolo" guesthouse which is also a cooking school.At the butchery of Kirwood they buy Kudu meat and Laurence shows Ismaël the traditional Xhosa huts for the guests.On the next day Ismaël goes to the Addo National Park with Emmanuel Paradaza, a ranger and guide: they see in the savanna elephants, kudus, lions , buffaloes and zebras.Back to the guesthouse Ismaël and the young cook Cindy Madini harvest lettuce and coriander and prepare the supper, eland meat with millet paste, vegetables and sauces.Then Ismaël returns to Cape Town: in Boulders (Table Mountain National Park) he sees the African penguins at the seaside and then with Peter Van der Linde he visits the Penguin rescue center.Finally Ismaël travels to Stellenbosch and meets there Viviane Kleynhans, who manages with her sisters a vineyard and produces wine: the government helped African people to enter in the wine industry: Ismaël and Viviane taste a Chardonnay wine. Besides we see zooms about the former yacht of Jacqueline Onassis who has been transformed into a luxury hotel, about the "Pride of Africa" a luxury train traveling from Cape Town to Tanzania, about the Inverdoorn animal rescue center managed by Damien Vergnaud in which they protect the white rhinoceros and cheetahs (two endangered species of animal), about the sports in Cape Town (soon in the morning the people enjoy practicing yoga, aerobics, paddle board, surfing and kite surfing and about the great white shark (shark spotters are observing every day the sea near Muizenberg and publish advice for the swimmers and surfers) and the cage diving business.

Savoureux Mexique
Beginning of the journey in the desert of Baja California: Ismaël and Rodrigo are on a horseback riding through the cactus of the desert and meet a French couple; Jean-Christophe Arbonne and Marjorie Benneton who manage a room for tourists.In La Paz Rodrigo , a marine biologist and Ismaël take a boat, they go near the island of Espiritu Santo (a volcanic island and an Unesco world heritage site) and are snorkeling among the California sea lions.After this excursion they eat clams in a restaurant in La Paz.The next day Ismaël goes with Jean-Christophe in the desert to look for sour pitayas and later they have supper in the house of Jean-Christophe and Marjorie: beef empanadas and beef burrito with a tomato and chili sauce.In Puebla Ismaël meet Noemi Merab Ensisco Meza in a candies shop (there are many candies shops in this town): they go to the gallery of potteries and see the pottery workshop.Later they travel to San Pedro de Choluca: they visit the church build upon an Aztec pyramid: from there they can see the Popocatepetl volcano and Noemi tells the Aztec legend about this volcano.Then they go to the market where they buy "chile Mulato", plantain bananas.Ismaël meets then Doña Catalina, Noemi' mother who will prepare the mole poblano: a sauce prepared with peanuts, almonds, the chili, tomatoes, garlic and onions.As a tradition a group of musicians has arrived at the house (the food is better when prepared with the sound of music) and Ismaël enjoys an excellent mole poblano.Now Ismaël is in Mexico City, he meets Fernando Martinez Zavala, owner of the "Yuban" restaurant: on the Zocalo they can see how people receive the smoke of herbs as a cleansing ritual, they see also traditional Aztec dances, a group of men and woman practices aerobics and they take part to the aerobics.Fernando has a surprise for Ismaël: the go to a market and visit a shop selling insects: they eat two types of insects.Finally Fernando prepares for Ismaël squid with a sauce of corn and tomatoes and a topping ant's eggs. Besides we can see a reporting about Mexican food: Rocio Vazquez, a culinary guide shows to the tourists the best street foods of Mexico City (tacos for example).In San José de Cabo the chef Enrique Silva shows to his guests his garden and then the guests prepares with him dishes with fresh vegetables. We visit also the Sea of Cortez; there we meet Juan Higuera , a fisherman who takes care for the environment and Thierry Lannoy , a diving coach who leads the tourists to dive among a shoal of fishes. Later we visit Todos Santos where Elizabeth Ibarra has a farm and grows strawberries, green beans and herbs and where Henry Morgan, an American Citizen lives now and paints the landscapes of this place.There is also an interesting zoom about the mezcal, a beverage made with agave : Carlos Moreno, a barman explains to his students the different types of mezcal and they taste this beverage: in the countryside Adriano and Lucio , two agave farmers harvest the agave and show how they distillate into mezcal.And last visit,the "Central de Abasto" a huge center in Mexico City where about 90.000 people are working receiving agricultural products from all Mexico and also selling them to wholesalers and restaurants: we meet there Ernesto Oswaldo Oliva Rica , owner of the restaurant "Lorea" who shows the huitlacoche, a fungus which grows in the corncobs and it's part of the traditional Mexican food.
