Valerio first meets Frank, a cheerful adolescent who suffers from incurable spasms, most of the day involuntarily contracting muscles, less when he's quiet and alone, yet seeks a normal, social life, including ride by tricycle to standard high-school, where he uses a feet-controlled computer keyboard. Valerio tries having breakfast while suffering spasms simulated by mild electrocution. The knaves set out to try blow-carting. Alma (29) suffers from generalized dystonia, an incurable neurological disease she incurred at 17, causing her to be mostly immobilized, occasionally weird cramps reducing her to a fetal position. She can't inject herself with a muscle relaxer but has a wheelchair-mounted bed. Valerio accompanies her to a beauty salon and a concert.
