Friends in happy San Luis Obispo are about to lose their jobs so they leap into action; a funny series of selfish lurches which lead to betrayal, an accident, several attempts at pregnancy, and some pithy California soul-searching.

Warlord Oda Nobunaga has lost the battle in sixteenth century Japan and is currently being pursued by Ujinori Kanbara who was Yoshimoto Imagawa's vassal. Yoshimoto was slayed by Nobunaga and the former vassal is burning with the fires of revenge. Yet, success is seemingly tripled when he captures not one but three Nobunagas. Each prisoner claims to be the warlord.

USKROEF NO SEXY is a saucy, fresh and sexy comedy from Johannesburg's burgeoning indie film scene. The film is set in Soweto, the apartheid-era township that today is characterized by social unrest and also lively cultural activity (the internationally popular Kwaito music style has its origins in Soweto). "Sexy" is a young dude from the ghetto who has set his sights on Sandton, a high-class "sistah" who treats Sexy like he's out of her league. Sexy's pal and gang mentor Skroef also thinks that Sexy's is biting off more than he can chew. So Skroef poses this challenge: if Sexy can convince Sandton to go on a first date, Skroef will bankroll all subsequent ones - no minor investment, as Sandton is accustomed to stepping out in style.

Zero, who, like many Hong Kong youngsters, has a handful of unsteady jobs. She takes a fancy to Chan Kwok Chan, whom she stalks. Chan in turn, has a job donning exotic costumes as a cyber papel doll for a porn website and a sex-worker lover who has a son and a separate husband on the mainland. Then there's Nicole, who gets her orgasmic intimacy watching Chan every night. All these games of chasing, rejecting and seducing are played out in an economically and spiritually depressed Hong kong, without much gusto. Awash with melancholy and disillusionment, it's a tall task to love Hong Kong.

Berlin, A Polterabend (i.e. a party on the eve of a marriage) is taking place in a café. An American has persuaded his German friend to marry him, after just one month of knowing each other. But while Anke has decided to create a family for her and her baby, Bruce has reservations. The party's member consist of various immigrants that happened to be there, each with his own problems and Anke's mother who objects to the marriage and is expelled by her own daughter.
