Tønnes Martin Dyrskog grew up on an isolated farm with no road access in the south west of Norway, however, after an accident he decided to move to another isolated farm situated at the end of a perilous tractor road where the fields are so steep he needs to resort to the scythe in order to cut grass for his animals.

Arne Bakke Mælen was set to take over his parent's isolated small holding. The houses were in dire need of renovation and the fields were steep and not ideal for farming. Arne re-modeled the barn as an art gallery showcasing his amazing art-work made from local wood.
