John seeks a vandalistic hit and run motor-biker amongst the precinct colleagues, whom Kris Geysen just rejoined.

Recluse Gilbert Remmery reports having seen from his house-boat a car chasing a colored girl, but is initially disbelieved as a lonely weirdo and later retracts his statement, after his beloved dog was kidnapped. George Remmery, his more assertive brother, shoots at team recruit Ema, who violated orders by investigating on her own the neighborhood, controlled by a dodgy real estate investment firm. Both cases are linked by shady attorney Davina Lansknecht, hard porn baron Barracudan's ace, but the supervising judge refuse a search warrant against an 'amicus curiae' without solid proof.

Lawyer Lansknecht plays the rulebook masterly, yet an 'accidentally' dropped file opens to show pornographic pictures of the missing girls. Shelter director Piet Swinnen's meddling seems to prevent the only recovered one from collaborating, while abducted Céleste dies. Raymond's poor record as Rick's father proves costly in his divorce.
