For children suffering from progressive, rare diseases, such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy, time is running out. Time is what they don't have. The saving grace is new drugs, which slow down the progression of the disease. They are expected in Serbia from 2018. Finally, in 2023, the drug was approved. However, only one boy remained on the list. The rest - they are no longer candidates.

However, it is little known that by renouncing the inheritance, in addition to economic security, some rights can also be lost - the right to social assistance. Women are still forced to go to their detriment, more or less, because of customs, traditions, gender stereotypes.
