Hooligan Basti Schwarz, found around the bridge, and a mate abused Karl shortly before. Karl's cousin Ludwig Eders runs his outdated folkloric dress shop, but ran into gambling debts. Basti and Paula suddenly both confess, but Arthur believes neither and must deal with 'professional' false trails from a terminal third person.

His admiring roommate, art student Tobias Küppers, sketches a robot picture of a man who threatened Weller. Next morning, Tanja Föhrmann is found murdered in the park.

Team leader Arthur Bauer seeks at least Grossmann's murderer in his own court, zooming in on his now likely to be promoted assessor and old bailiff Roman Zenk.

The fresh widow Magdalena Franke and Nicole Müller have only each-other as alibi. Gunther remains in foreign rehab, but forces son in law Hanno to face the proof he spent time in hotel rooms with his secretary, yet claims nothing happened while feeling morally unfaithful.
