The corpse of Kilian, in a jeep, seems mysterious. Theo's joy over a surprise visit from Italian godson Luca soon turns sour, as the knave comes with Theo's mother announcing she'll close down the family inn in Amalfi, while Luca, having driven the car and dumped it in a quarry after discovering the corpse in the booth, formally making him prime suspect. The team also finds trails to silver spoon brat Maximilian Weissenböck, who stages illegal car races, nice car mechanic Lutz Maier, who mentored Kilian like father, young painter Ralf Maier and victim's girl friend Annabelle Winkler, whose story doesn't hold up. Theo decides to quit and move to Italy.
