Andrea's father, Wolfgang Mahler, failed to get him accused, and be may in despair have resorted to 'an eye for an eye'. The team must also considers alternatives.

Playing in the front garden, Henry (six) is abducted. His stepfather Dr. Jürgen Simmering got rich publishing against vaccination. Henry's biological father, Nico Gerber, lost custody to the crook and Henry's mother, Greta Simmering, who refused to let the boy be vaccinated. The abductor makes demands to expose and spoil Jürgen of his dubiously gotten gains, which he's most reluctant to follow, even sabotages. The team frantically searches for the boy and a disgruntled victim of non-vaccination.

Publican Wiesnwirt Johann Beierlein lost his spot in the affair, as a mysterious mailbox-message shows. Odd waiter Xaver Spieß's hunting knife was used for the crime, but the team also suspects parts played by adjudication committee chair Johanna Pfeiffer and winning publican Nico Esswein, so they look for links, while footage and attire study proves interesting.

So the team looks into stylist Joel Meinhardt, who must compensate for low prices by cheating, recently recruited janitor Markus Meiser who fails to lock up the keys, regularly visiting GP Dr. Schuhmann, fellow resident Veronika Berger, even her lover Roland Schelling, whom commissioner failed to arrest despite persisting suspicion for a jewelry heist 25 years ago, which finally gets solved. The motive is the key.

The team learns about fraudulent practices from a disgruntled client and Erika's friend Karl Marsmann. Pet dissection also puts them on the trail of suspiciously frequent pet deaths by rat poison.

Theo's joy over a surprise visit from Italian godson Luca soon turns sour, as the knave comes with Theo's mother announcing she'll close down the family inn in Amalfi, while Luca, having driven the car and dumped it in a quarry after discovering the corpse in the booth, formally making him prime suspect. The team also finds trails to silver spoon brat Maximilian Weissenböck, who stages illegal car races, nice car mechanic Lutz Maier, who mentored Kilian like father, young painter Ralf Maier and victim's girl friend Annabelle Winkler, whose story doesn't hold up. Theo decides to quit and move to Italy.

Martin is the absent biological father of Leander Steinacher (18), who was happily raised by his adoptive father, contractor Dr. Andreas Steinacher, but recently sought contact. The latter engaged Eppstein for a development which would wipe out the camp site, several other secrets come to light.

The team question all pro-grilling villagers, including mayoress Veronika Vogler and bio butcher Josef Birnbacher, who hosted the latest mass barbecue. Hairdresser Anneliese Schulz has a strange rapport to him, while mayoral son Max Vogler always defended the couple, whose brave outspoken liberty he admired.

The team learns she was Mimeseo. Comics draftsman Farin Cetin maintains he and Leni were secret lovers, but seems to cover up a breakup. The team also looks into her employer, shop owner Martin Reindler, the crazy 'flamingo activist' customer Jonas Loibl and the lecture host, manager, Gitti Bartl, digging for surprising motives or alibis.

Professor Dr. Jacob, founding head of the Jacob-Augenklinik for eye treatment, was fatally shit in the clinics park. Blind witness and patient Sieglinde Eberty astounds the team with her sharp non-visual observations to render credibility to an unlikely-precise killer-profile, unlikely to hold up in court. Jacob's colleagues and other patients despised him as a haughty asshole, even fresh widow Ortrun Jacob duly doubted his fidelity, being 'loberal' with all woman. Deputy hospital chief Dr. Rainer Behm inherits his position and intended to legally contend his dismissal from their revolutionary surgery project for bionic eye repair, just before the authorities were to allow tests, which he started with already. Forensics concludes the shooter was a pro, the bullet trails to Lutz Ischinger, never convicted for suspected hits in other Geran states. Someone else is proven no less traitorous.

Commissioner Bauer initially ignores e-mails with stranger pictures, with a tile marked, until it turns out that's when they become victims of crimes like poisoning and abduction. The team races to identify the people and link them to him and the fiend, presumably after revenge for a conviction, but that's a long list, including paroled Andrej Sukow and Max Fleischhauer. Bauer checks on former childhood kidnap victim Adam Klein, who never recovered psychologically, reported dead by his elder brother Tom. Bauer's next mail says his missing detective Katharina Hahn is to die at noon.

Gruber's mailbox recorded Doc challenging him to a duel with Gruber, who repeatedly bothered Isi. While even honest doc desperately starts questioning his own sanity, forensics show he was drugged and he checks out his own theories.

Possible fathers are hyperactive, apologetic resident Cem and Karl, Steyer's sissy, chubby son, the kids stories prove incompatible. But the suspect list grows as staff -especially devoted educator Daniel Mehring- and comrades -especially shy A-student Maria- are investigated.

Suspects include friend and already successful fellow Start-up-founder Andreas Hauser, Julia Bartsch, claims she only met Novak for occasional coffee, and Christian Heibl, whose innovative bio-products firm is hiding serious allergenic problems.
