Blueberry invites Huckleberry to write a detective story together. She tells him to write down her own ideas, and does not listen to his. The next days, Huckleberry evades Blueberry. She is sad and upset to find out that he spends much time with Cherry, and they write and compose a song together. Strawberry reveals to Blueberry that song is actually written for her, to show her that Huckleberry too can write well. Blueberry realizes she did wrong by not letting Huckleberry add his own ideas to the story. She apologizes to Huckleberry, and he apologizes for the misunderstanding about the song. Then they start writing a story together.

Blueberry and Huckleberry try to gather money for building a shelter for homeless dogs. They send a detective story to Berry Bitty Mysteries, but it is rejected. Strawberry suggests to hold a dog show to raise funds. Due to several misunderstandings, no one comes to the show. Huckleberry and the girls are disappointed when suddenly they are told by the editor of Berry Bitty Mysteries that their new story is accepted.

In order to decide which of the princesses will succeed them, they give them a task: to bring the royal golden berry. Each of the princesses chooses a Berrykin to escort her, Strawberrita chooses the smallest. The bratty Lemonella and Raspbelina act rudely and nastily to whoever they meet. The kind and gentle Strawberrita acts politely and generously, and follows the advices of her tiny escort.

The Berry Lucky Day
The puppies run around and cause a lot of damage and inconvenience to everyone. The girls decide to build a dog park, and ask Huckleberry to help the Berrykins build it. Huckleberry agrees hesitantly because his construction skills are poor, but he is too embarrassed to admit it. The work does not progress well. Huckleberry finds a lucky charm, which unknown to him belongs to Cherry. With the lucky charm in possession, Huckleberry's construction skills improve greatly. He also becomes successful at sport competitions. Meanwhile, heartbroken Cherry looks for her lost charm everywhere, thinking she cannot hit the high notes without it. When Huckleberry realizes the lucky charm belongs to Cherry, he is unsure what to do: he feels sorry for Cherry, but is afraid that without the charm he will be a clumsy klutz like before. Finally he returns Cherry the charm. Only then they discover that Strawberry was right about what she told them earlier: their skills do not depend on luck but on patience, practice and confidence, and they do not really need the charm.

The new dog park is open, but something scares the puppies and they refuse to enter. The girls try different solutions: to lure the puppies inside with treats; perfume the park; behave like dogs; paint the park with various colors; but everything fails. Finally the girls realize that the puppies are scared of their new hats designed by Raspberry. Once Raspberry changes the decorations of the girls' hats, the puppies delightfully enter the park.

Blueberry invites Huckleberry to the masquerade ball. Unfortunately, she becomes sick. Lemon and Raspberry, worrying that Huckleberry will be disappointed of Blueberry's absence, disguise themselves as Blueberry, without telling each other. Unknown to them, Blueberry recovers thanks to Strawberry's tea and comes to the ball. The presence of three Blueberries at the ball causes a lot of confusion to everyone. To add to the confusion, Berrykin Bruce overhears Huckleberry's new idea of detective thriller, and thinks incorrectly that he plans to steal Princess Berrykin's tiara.

The Berry, Biggest, Berry Baddest Bakeoff
Berrykin Bloom manages to grow a new fruit - a combination of watermelon, pineapple and strawberry. Princess Berrykin announces that as a reward for his achievement, a ceremony will be held for him. Strawberry suggests that the girls will bake special cupcakes for Berrykin Bloom, and they agree excitedly. Due to a misunderstanding, the girls get a bit carried away, each of them tries to outdo the others by baking a gigantic cake instead of a cupcake.
