Strawberry goes to the field to pick strawberries and sunflower seeds. She notices a strange thing: the flowers, fruit and vegetables are smaller than usual. Berrykin Bloom tells her it is his latest invention. The problem is that now there are so much fruit and vegetables, that there is not enough room to store them in Orange Mart. Soon it turns to be a mess that spreads all over the village. Strawberry comes up with the idea to open a market for selling the fruit and vegetables.

Strawberry's friends volunteer to decorate and furnish her unfinished upstairs room. Unfortunately, each of them does her share according to her own taste, and perfumes the room with her favorite scent. The outcome is a mixture of styles, colors and scents. Strawberry is dissatisfied but pretends happy, because she does not want to sound ungrateful and hurt her friends' feelings. Later, Strawberry offers Princess Berrykin a piece of pineapple cake, but the princess declines graciously. The princess explains that she does not care for pineapple, but thanks Strawberry for her thoughtful offer. Then Strawberry realizes she was wrong for not being honest with her friends about her room. She explains them what is the problem, and they get to work again excitedly and ungrudgingly, since they want Strawberry to be happy. The new outcome is exactly what Strawberry wishes, including her favorite perfume scent.

The girls invite their favorite singer Cherry Jam to Berry Bitty City. They do their best to make her stay pleasant as possible. Cherry, however, finds the quiet and modest Berry Bitty City much better place to be than the Big City, where is always committed to a busy schedule, surrounded by fans and has no privacy. She reveals that she wishes the girls to treat her as her friends rather than fans.

Cherry grows so fond of the quiet and friendly Berry Bitty City and its nice inhabitants, that she decides to stay more and become the music teacher. All her students progress well, and she puts on a recital at the weekend. Plum becomes nervous because the drumsticks keep slipping from her hands when she plays, and makes up excuses to postpone the recital. Strawberry understands that Plum has a stage-fright, and helps her to gain confidence.

The girls hold a talent show.

Raspberry receives a job offer from the Fashion Design Department in Berry Big City. Her friends are excited and happy at the news, except Cherry who acts strangely reserved. Raspberry is unsure whether Cherry is jealous of her. Soon after Raspberry travels to the Big City, she informs her friends that she will have a studio of her own, and that they want her to move to the City. The girls are saddened but decide to be supportive and throw a goodbye party for Raspberry. Raspberry arrives to pack her belongings with the Ladybug Miss Mavis Maraschino. The girls are shocked to see how Raspberry has changed, and they do not like how the snobbish Miss Maraschino bosses everyone around. Cherry reveals to Strawberry why she is not excited about Raspberry's success: she is not jealous of Raspberry but concerned about her, since she knows from her own experience that the glamorous life in the Big City has a cost: when you are a star, sometimes it is hard to be yourself. Next day, Raspberry hears there is a boat race - her favorite event, and she happily joins in despite Miss Maraschino's protests. Miss Maraschino leaves, and no one is upset to see her go away. The girls are overjoyed that both Raspberry and Cherry decide to stay at the Berry Bitty City.

Blueberry overhears Strawberry speaking while writing an essay for a magazine contest, incorrectly thinks that she plans to take all the girls to a vacation on a tropical island, and tells that to the other girls. When Blueberry discovers her mistake, she cannot bring herself to disappoint the other girls, and makes up excuses for canceling the vacation, but for no avail. Finally Blueberry reveals the truth, but as things turn to be, the girls win a vacation after all.

The girls are excited of the vacation they are going to spend at Berry Breezy Bay Hotel, unfortunately the resort is closed for bad weather. Orange comes up with the idea of making their own resort in their city. The other girls think the project is overly ambitious, but they assist Orange. The girls enjoy the work, but Orange keeps insisting that their resort should be exactly like the Berry Breezy Bay Resort, and this takes the fun out of the project and upsets the other girls. Strawberry explains Orange that the important thing is that they have fun. Orange admits she was wrong with her demands, and the girls go back to work. Once the work is completed, the girls have a great vacation at their own new resort.

The girls are preparing for the vacation, when Miss Mavis Maraschino suddenly shows up to interview Cherry. Soon Mavis gets on everyone's nerves with her rude and noisy behavior, and they devise a plan to make her leave.

Spring comes early, and everyone is disappointed that winter has gone too soon. To cheer her friends up, Strawberry suggests to play "Capture the snowman's nose", using the snow cone machine to make snow. Suddenly winter returns. The people of Berry Bitty City vote whether or not to share their food with the wildlife.

Blueberry is waiting impatiently for the book she ordered, but the post is delayed due to the bad weather. She improvises "Icy Skites" that are steered by butterflies, and gets the desired book despite the weather. Soon she receives a call from a sports store, offering her to manufacture the Icy Skites, and also want her to make a commercial. Blueberry's friends help her with ideas for the commercial.

Raspberry and Berrykin Bruce are planning a spring fashion show and a water show, but the preparations of each event interrupt the other. Strawberry suggests they combine the shows, and they agree. However, winter suddenly is back, freezing the water and foiling both shows. Berrykin Earl suggests to have a winter ice-skating fashion show.

The girls form a musical band and decide to go on a concert tour to Berry Big City. They are all excited, except Orange who has misgivings about leaving their town and finds excuses to return, till Strawberry convinces her that the tour will be fun and they will soon return.
