Mayor Jeff calls a wood carver to make a foot-high statuette, but the wood carver mishears the order for twenty feet high. While selling unused stuff, Peanut and Jelly mistakenly sell a rare flower their mother plans to use for a hat.
Because Peanut somehow has lost a book he borrowed from a library, and only has minutes to return it, he goes on a frantic search. Pinch's father struggles to sleep, thus the raccoon girl's friends employ various methods to help.
When the Cranes' tree house falls over, they are invited to stay in the Otters' place until they find a new home. Flick proudly wears his soccer cap which he refuses to take off, even if it defies the dress code of the soccer game.
Flick receives the first edition of a comic book series still in cellophane which catches the attention of Ootsie and Bootsie's father. When the Snooties go on vacation, they invite the Otters to stay in their home until they return.
Munchy cringes upon learning that he speaks in his sleep, thus he does not want to attend another sleepover. When Munchy wishes he has a pet, his Otter friends tell him the story on how they got Bubbles.
PB&J meet Mayor Jeff's friend Otto who seems grumpy but actually has a nice warm character. When the Otter kids try to help their mother bake bread because she is slowed down by phone calls, they make mistakes which build up in the food.
When Jelly consumes a foreign fruit, her siblings and friends wish to eat one too, thus she plants the fruit's seed in her backyard despite the common belief that the fruit only grows in the tropics.
Flick goes to the Otter's home without informing his mother who begins to worry and ask the neighborhood to find him. While practicing for Peanut and Jelly's soccer team, Flick is invited to play for another one lead by a cynical player.

When Edward's boss plans to turn Lake Hoohaw into an amusement park, the residents are interested at first, but they have second thoughts upon learning the boss' plan involves draining the lake, and significantly changing the landscape.
