Grieving father Rick Harris is found by Roger and Dan behind the wheel of his car. They suspect he is drunk but have to release him when tests negative. June and Will get called to the local school when Principal Jessop finds Kyle Henderson breaking into the building causing damage. Manson leads a search when Rick takes an 11 year old boy. June gets called back to the school when Rod is a victim of a hit and run. The Hendersons house is set alight.

Jack briefs the team that the Henderson house fire was an arson attack and maybe linked to the recent hit and run. Jack wants Sam to apply for new DI position. When Rod gains consciousness June agrees to marry him. Kyle Henderson is questioned in hospital about the fire and driving the car that hit Rod Jessop. A link to other arson attacks leads Sam to another suspect.

CID is on the trail of a serial arsonist, while new DI Nixon figures out how to address her promotion to her co workers.

Inspector Gold and PC Valentine free a man from the boot/trunk of his car. He has also been assaulted. The man turns out to be a Probation Officer at the local gaol, and the husband of one of his charges is arrested for the assault. The husband claims the P.O. raped his wife in the gaol. However, all is not as it seems. Meanwhile PC Harding responds to an assult and robbery on an IC1 male by an IC3 male wearing a red hoodie. After hurting himself whilst arresting the robber, PC Harding finds the man's wallet full of cash.

The possible closure of Sun Hill station is front page news. A recovering drug addict is found dead of a heroin overdose with connections to an illegal money lending scheme. Meanwhile PCs Valentine and Casper deal with a robbery at a pub.

DCI Manson and DC Webb investigate a woman who is found unconscious in her home after being assaulted with a hammer. Meanwhile DC Nadir's undercover op steps up a gear after a confirmed shipment of drugs arriving in Sun Hill from Columbia.

The stakes are getting higher with Zain concerned about Kristen getting into business with Alvarez for a 3 million pound cocaine deal. Eva's brother jeopardizes the safe house where Honey is minding Eva. Alvarez believes Zain can't be trusted. Honey and Eva are taken hostage and Alvarez threatens Zain to admit he is undercover.

With Eva Garcia and PC Harman kidnapped by Alvarez's men, DC Nadir has to choose between love or his career and one of the biggest drug importations in Sun Hill comes to a dramatic end with disastrous consequences.

In an effort to keep Kristen Shaw safe, Zain lies about what happened the day before and continues to cover up the fact that PC Harmon is dead. PCs Keane and Lewis meanwhile investigate a burglary.

When Honey Harmon doesn't return from holiday she is classed as a missing person and CID start to investigate her last movements. A pregnant woman is robbed in her home but the stolen necklace has a connection to a previous robbery.

Zain fails to keep his story straight as the hunt for PC Honey Harmon's body continues and they come closer to learning the truth. Supt. Heaton's wife's watch turns up in among other stolen jewellery leading to tensions between the two.

A student at Rod Jessop's school is reluctant to talk about who wounded him with a knife on the way to school, but some dogged routine work by Reg and Diane searching through CCTV footage eventually gives the team a lead, linking the incident to the disappearance of paroled prisoner Jimmy Collins, last seen stealing bandages from a chemist's shop. The sight of Gina Gold in her glad rags prompts June to wish for early retirement - and an early wedding. Broadcast 8 February 2007.

It's Smithy's birthday but he's not that eager to celebrate. CID and uniform team up to end a car selling scam.

On the anniversary of Amy Tennant's disappearance, a memorial service leads to renewed hope she may still be alive.

Sgt June Ackland and PC Valentine investigate an accusation that corrupt council officials were bribed into allowing a housing estate to be demolished. Soon it's found that it's not only the Olburn estate at risk of the developers.

After discovering Sun Hill station is set for demolition, Gina and June team up to try and uncover if Supt Heaton is involved in the decision. June meets an unexpected face from her past.

On the day of June Ackland's retirement she teams up with her ex-husband Jim Carver on the hunt for a known criminal who's now operating in Sun Hill.

Sgt Ackland's last day and while they're preparing a party at the station, she and her ex are being held hostage by the son of the owner of a haulage company who has shot his father. June learns that the case was complicated by Jim's intention of getting her back. The gunman has been promised a share of the robbery.

Sam Nixon has been confirmed as the new inspector. Sam, Phil and Micky are trying to police the Jasmine Allen Estate. One house is run as a porn web chat site. A woman has been found beaten up and h her husband is suspect.

Ryan Jones goes on the run after the body of a woman is found in the boot of his car and uniform must pursue him before he hurts anyone else.

Heaton is on edge when a body is found from an arson attack and linked to ex copper turned criminal Ray Moore. Moore has a grudge against Heaton who has to send his family away for their protection. Jimmy a boy who witnessed the attack flees court when Ray subtly threatened him. It's up to Matt, Emma's husband to encourage him to face the court. Despite Matt helping both Jimmy and PC Will Fletcher during the day, Will still warns Emma he is trouble.

Heaton's wife and daughter are sent away for their own safety when his ex partner Ray Moore turns up in Sun Hill. P.C. Hardy risks his career as he tries to uncover if his cousin is involved in a crime.

A young girl is found with a gun threatening to shoot a teenager who stole her bike. Heaton continues to try and prove Ray Moore killed Paddy Morgan.

Gina Gold and Peter Harris affair comes to an end when Harris disappears from their hotel room and his wife turns up at the station with a ransom note and his wedding ring.

A man is found with injuries and his daughter is missing. Reunited there are questions around what happened that caused them to get separated and the man's connection with a security firm.

A decomposed found near a railway line isn't who they first think it is. A nail bar robbery investigation causes Phil and Stuart to come to blows.

After his previous bust up with Stuart, Phil finds himself back in uniform as punishment. An escaped convict with mental health issues is on the run in Sun Hill.

Thefts on trains and buses in Sun Hill are on the rise and are all linked to one gang. Mickey is confused why his girlfriend Mia is suddenly so distant with him.

The body of a teenage girl is found dead in a swimming pool the morning after a house party she wasn't invited to. Mickey discovers Mia's affair with Supt Houlton and Emma discovers just how violent her husband can be.

Uniform conduct a raid on a derelict pub where drug addicts are squatting. Emma is locked up for assaulting Matt whilst Gina and Jo investigate what happened and why.

A shipping business owner by the name of Naz Dewan gets caught up in a drugs smuggling operation. CID tries to connect the op to known drugs baron, Victor Stone.

A murder hunt is launched when Reshna's body is pulled out of the Thames and evidence emerges that she was having an affair with a fellow student. Meanwhile, Diane and Mickey are left in the dark when an eccentric mugging victim claims to be an undercover officer and Scotland Yard refuse to confirm or deny her story.

On PC Green's first day she and PC Keane arrest a struggling drug addict who claims her baby was stolen as part of a baby selling operation. Meadows and Nixon go undercover as a childless couple.

A distraught father attacks a social worker when his daughter is ordered by the courts to be put into care. An activist pickets a car showroom, locking the owner inside.

A priceless necklace goes missing from a sealed coffin. Jo and Stuart get caught up with the family drama's trying to work out the culprit. Elsewhere, Nikki Wright tries to talk Josh down from a tall tower when he threatens suicide. Terry goes undercover to break a paedophile ring to save a 12 year old boy.

Still working in uniform, Phil Hunter retrieves a snatched bag containing £15,000. The owner eventually admits that he is being blackmailed for a marital indiscretion. Phil sets up a sting to catch the blackmailer. Meanwhile, pressure is put on Martin Turnbull, a witness waiting to give evidence against his brother-in-law Ray Moore.

Phil Hunter returns to CID and with Stuart Turner investigate a joyrider who's part of an upcoming armed robbery. Heaton and CID continue to try and get Ray Moore brought down when a member of the Skens is shot dead in his car.

PC Hardy's girlfriend is assaulted and CID believe it's connected to the ongoing Ray Moore investigation.

Rudy Niles lies in hospital after being shot. Diana and Will attend a bad traffic accident. Lewis tries to comfort his girlfriend Tash as her brother's condition worsens. Lewis tells Heaton that Tash is still willing to give evidence against Ray Moore. Heaton and Ray taunt each other. Beth thinks there's something odd about the crash. Lewis vents his frustration at Heaton when no arrest is made on Ray Moore. Lewis attacks Ray.

After Ray Moore's body is found at the bottom of a multi-storey car park, a gun with PC Hardy's prints on is found and he turns himself in to tell his side. A woman swears she saw her missing son in a supermarket.

DCI Meadows teams up with former colleague DCI Roy Atherton to reopen a 20 year old rape investigation after the suspect in a recent rape allegation's fingerprints match up.

Jack's been working too many hours and Heaton orders him off duty to rest. Whilst driving home, Jack has an accident trying to avoid a camouflaged masked man. Emma has a hangover but need to join Will in checking out a burglar alarm at a warehouse. When a man escapes the smoking warehouse a large explosion occurs. Stuart is concerned when the owner of the warehouse has changed his name and thinks the contents of fertilizer in the factory is related to terrorist activities.

Cindy Statham, a celebrity model is found murdered in her luxury home. Lorna heading the forensic team tells Jo and Stuart that the body is posed and could be linked to anti fur activism. The case is further complicated by links to several disgruntled admirers as well as a young girl linked to underage porn.

A troubled fan, Larry Franks is taken in for questioning by Tony as CCTV footage shows him close to the crime scene. Cindy's half brother is also in the frame due to a filmed argument. Leela is attacked by a skinhead when opening her front door. When Smithy and Kezia attend the incident they find a bag of heroin in the flat.

Sun Hill and Barton Street stations team up to try and keep things calm on the day of a big football match. Tempers flare and Sgt. Wright's husband is stabbed during a pub brawl.

With Sgt. Doug Wright out of critical condition after the stabbing, his life may still be at risk. As suspects are being rounded up and questioned, Sgt. Nikki Wright is left puppy walking two new recruits.

Nikki blames herself when she's unable to save PC Billy Rowan. Tensions rise when she is unable to identify the suspected killer Greg Farnham in a line up. With the relief traumatized, Emma takes offense with Gina checks in on Sally's wellbeing but not hers and makes a complaint. Nikki is later held hostage by Greg who has a vendetta against the police for not protecting his daughter from being killed. Sally defies order in order to help Nikki escape.

Sgt. Gold and PC Keane team up when a woman comes into the station accusing her boss of rape, but she very quickly starts to back down. PC's Hardy and Valentine find a young boy collapsed with ecstasy pills in his pocket.

With PC Lewis Hardy suspended for possession of drugs, Roger is worried about him. The skens are believed to be buying explosives so Supt. Heaton sets up a sting operation.
