These people remind a brotherhood based in Florence, Italy, of their role in preventing the extinction of humanity. It is a part of their centuries-old agreement. Meanwhile in Paris, Paul, a police investigator, tries to solve the riddle of a young man who lost consciousness at the Louvre museum. According to witnesses, Cédric behaved strangely in front of 'LA BARQUE DE DANTE', a painting from the famous French painter Eugène Delacroix, inspired by the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri.

S1.E2 ∙ DID YOU SAY EUGENE DELACROIX ?

Cédric is still in a coma. Paul, the police investigator, discovers that the young man was in contact with the Djinn, supernatural beings released from Atlantis, a lost island in the Bermuda Triangle. These beings roam everywhere in the world. The investigation leads him to other discoveries, some as surprising as the others. Paul discovers that he looks exactly like Eugène Delacroix, the painter of 'DANTE'S BOAT'. He also discovers that his late wife, Linda, is one of the damned in this painting. In the City of Sefar in the depths of the great Sahara, the community of specters is worried about the imminent disappearance of their species. This will be followed by the demise of humanity, as they are the balance that governs the world. The members of the Italian brotherhood, disciples of Béatrice Portinari, are alert. They increase surveillance of the border between hell and the world of the living in Florence, in order to block the arrival of Lucifer.

So, they will obtain divine forgiveness, which will allow them to finally leave this prison island. In the wombs of a mountain in the Caucasus, Gog and Magog, a people from a bygone era known to be violent, continue to dig in order to leave the cave in which they have been imprisoned for millennials by Alexander the Great. Meanwhile in Paris, Cédric's body disappeared from the hospital. Paul suspects an organ trafficking network. The investigator prefers to find rational explanations for all these discoveries. In the studio where Cédric lives in the center of Paris, Paul notices the absence of a parchment that he had seen before during his investigations, it is the cartography of hell according to Dante Alighieri, the Florentine poet.

They are the guardians of the gate between hell and the living realm. Ennio explains to Paul that there is a connection between recent events and the story written by Dante. Later, Paul, guided by Ennio, discovers the secrets and the role of this brotherhood. Their headquarters is located in the basement of the city of Florence. Paul also discovers that it is the brotherhood which holds Cédric's body, connected to devices to keep him alive. Ennio Brotherhood watch Cedric's body, fearing that Lucifer will use it to return to the world of the living. The king of hell has already raged in the past, causing famines and plague. He plans to return to take revenge on human beings. The community of specters sends emissaries all over the world, it is necessary to awaken its former allies, who sleep for centuries. The specters fears the arrival of Lucifer, who could ally with the Atlanteans and Gog and Magog.

S1.E7 ∙ The Divine Comedy II

The people of Atlantis manage to find a solution to leave the Bermuda Triangle and enter the human world. But this solution is not without risk. They could lose a lot of members of their clan, when there are already not enough of them. Paul finally understands the issues, he was far from thinking that all this is real. Humanity is in great danger, occult forces plan to decimate it. In order to counter the arrival of Lucifer, the brotherhood thinks it is necessary to eliminate Cédric's body. They know that the king of hell waits patiently for the soul of a living being to enter hell, to possess its body. Paul asks them to think of another solution. But time is running out. Paul suggests them undertake astral travel himself and enter hell in order to bring Cédric. He thinks he knows how to accomplish this operation. The brotherhood accepts but under the responsibility of Ennio.

The people of Gog and Magog think they are close to their goal, the metal barrier that separates them from the surface of the earth will collapse in any minute.
