"The Week" tells the story of seven days. Each day has its own main character named after it, and there are seven different stories. Montag (Monday) is a young, hopeless, jobless man; one Monday he saves a woman from being raped. Dienstag (Tuesday) wants to run away from the hectic, commercial world and tries to find his way in the woods. Mittwoch (Wednesday) is a drug dealer who wants to do his last job. Donnerstag (Thursday) is homeless and lives on the street; all his hope is gone until a girl comes by. Freitag (Friday) works in a movie theater and secretly lover her co-worker Peter. Samstag (Saturday) is left by his girlfriend Gianna and now for the first time realizes how much he has loved her. Sonntag (Sunday) reveals what happened to the remaining characters and draws a conclusion.—Anonymous
