Summary "The Week" tells the story of seven days. Each day has its own main character named after it, and there are seven different stories. Montag (Monday) is a young, hopeless, jobless man; one Monday he saves a woman from being raped. Dienstag (Tuesday) wants to run away from the hectic, commercial world and tries to find his way in the woods. Mittwoch (Wednesday) is a drug dealer who wants to do his last job. Donnerstag (Thursday) is homeless and lives on the street; all his hope is gone until a girl comes by. Freitag (Friday) works in a movie theater and secretly lover her co-worker Peter. Samstag (Saturday) is left by his girlfriend Gianna and now for the first time realizes how much he has loved her.
