Ken, Ryu and friends use their martial arts skills to fight criminals.

Based off of the video game, on an island off the coast of Japan, Ryu, a martial artist, was given an invitation and some American money from his friend Ken Masters, telling him to come to the United States. Ryu arrives in San Francisco and Ken picks him up from the airport. Only to find out that Ken is rich and a defined martial artist himself. One night both Ryu and Ken were out scouting San Francisco for bars. Then, Ken flirts with somebody's girlfriend and gets into a fight. Ken has defeated the person. Only to find out that it was a partner of Air force pilot Guile. Ryu fights him, but was defeated easily. Ken then finds Guile and was too defeated. Ken then realizes that guile was a fighter of thew likes that Ryu and Ken has not seen before, Guile was a Street Fighter. So, both Ryu and Ken decided to set out to the world to learn the ways of the street fighter. Then, they get tangled up into a conspiracy involving a criminal organization.—John Wiggins

After suffering a brutal defeat at the hands of air force military Sergeant Guile during a bar fight, seventeen years old Ken and Ryu, two brilliant martial artists, embark on a journey all around the world to improve their fighting skills. Grandly helped by Ken's wealth and connections as the unique son of a multi-billionnaire, their journey takes them to Hong-kong where they meet a fifteen years old tour guide named Chun-Li who they befriend immediately. Chun-Li's father happens to be a lead inspector for the Hong-kong police and Ken and Ryu soon willingly help him fight off a crime syndicate known as the Ashura, which eventually makes them targets of an even bigger crime syndicate known as Shadowlaw and led by the enigmatic General M.Bison. Along the way, they also meet other street fighters such as the martial arts movie star Fei Long, the Muay Thai champion Sagat, the indian monk Dhalsim, the Russian wrestler Zangief and the Spanish aristocrat Vega.—Ricky Lyon
