"Flight 222" presents the story of a Soviet dancer visiting New York who wishes to ask to defect from the USSR and ask for political asylum in America. However, his plans are affected when the Soviet authorities learn about his actions and they take his wife to a plane back to Moscow that gets stranded waiting for permission to take off.
