World War II veteran, Captain Frank DeLand traveled 16,000 miles to fight in the least known theatre of the war: China, Burma, and India. He traveled through the war torn waters of the Pacific and aided Chinese forces during Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek's reign. He survived many perilous flights through the Himalayan mountains, and risked his life on many occasions.
