Summaries

This documentary spans 30 years in the making, and only now can the public identify the issue at hand: a 7-year old boy accidentally is hit in the head by his cousin, also 7 years of age, and suffers a typical head contusion. After taken to the local neighborhood ER that day by family, the boy is given ice, anti-inflammatory medication, and the small laceration is sutured closed. After the boy was given two series of x-rays, both not showing any conclusive evidence of a serious fracture, the boy's mother instructs the hospital to transfer her son for more imaging tests, given in 1982/1983, that hospital only had x-ray technology. A continuously stable boy is transferred to Yale Hospital; they perform craniectomy - rest is history.—Anonymous
