A Triplet Rarely Comes Alone

A Triplet Rarely Comes Alone

They live in completely different spheres, their view of the world could hardly be more contrasting - and now three babies bring them together in a miraculous way: On one side, the old-fashioned Latin teacher Dr. Jakob Buchmann, who detests nothing more than the superficiality's of the modern cell phone society. On the other hand, there is the smart Linda Rosenau, who has been managing a sophisticated women's magazine for many years as editor-in-chief. The profession means everything to the seasoned journalist. On the other hand, she feels less comfortable in her role as a grandmother - much to the chagrin of her adult daughter Leonie, who feels completely overwhelmed when looking after her one-year-old triplet sons. Leoni can no longer count on her partner, who has just left her because he has found out that the triplets do not come from him, but are the result of a one-night stand. The exhausted young woman promptly suffers a fit of weakness and is admitted to the hospital. Now Linda is faced with the challenge of having to look after three toddlers at once. Not an easy task, because the power woman knows her way around fashion and lifestyle topics, but she hardly knows anything about nappy changing and feeding. In desperation, she tries to get in touch with the boys' birth father - without success. Instead, she locates his father, the conservative Timpanist Jakob, and simply takes him on. The widower is actually about to leave for Canada, where he wants to spend his retirement years far away from the hectic city bustle. But he is powerless against Linda's determination. Inevitably, he postpones his flight and tries to be a grandpa - even if the stubborn granny at his side threatens to rob his last nerve at first. He has no idea how much he will grow fond of the triplets and that he feels more for Linda than he initially wants to admit.
