A variation of the 'Overcoming the Monster/Rags to Riches' archetype where zombie protagonists resolve their oppression by taking over the world. A Brilliant doctor tries to save the world from death. His partner, a second rate scientist mad with power lust, turns brilliant doctor into the first prototype-zombie and fits him with a collar so that he can control him. He creates an army of zombies to serve him....and did I mention the twisted love triangle?
Reuben leads a dull lifestyle. His wife, Jill, leads an eccentric and outgoing one. In order for Reuben to come to terms with his dullness, he needs to meet a talking zombie that has more life in him that he does. But this relationship is constantly under the threat of local detective Langston Cochrane, who wants to expose the supposed undead apocalypse.
