'Chair' is a stop-motion video of a child's school chair getting dressed in clothes for a sophisticated woman. The video starts with the chair putting on lace hosiery, and as the video progresses, the viewer realizes what is happening. What begins as confusing and strange, quickly becomes delightful, humorous and magical.

The unconventional and decidedly quirky narrative follows the lives of six foreigners in the small Turkish town of Goreme, where each winds his or her way in and out of the surrounding landscape and culture. Some of the foreigners find their way home, but for an unsuspecting few, Goreme becomes their place of destiny in the universe.

Taking his romantically challenged friend (Mitch) to a local club for his own selfish intentions, Jake soon finds that the tables have turned as he becomes the sexual interest of an appalling woman while Mitch attains the interest of a beautiful woman. In a desperate attempt to dodge the appalling woman's advances, Jake announces that he and Mitch are homosexual partners. The false claim echoes across the room and ruins Mitch's chances with the beautiful woman.
