The Falls

Byomkesh Bakshi becomes witness to a murder on the center stage when he attends a play at the theatre. As he digs deep into the case with his confidant Ajit, he gets involved in a story of love, betrayal and revenge.

Surya (Sagar) is a guy from a rich family, which has rivalry with a factionist family. His mother (Sana) sends him to Bangkok to end the feud between the two families. Surya changes his name to Siddhartha and falls in love with Sahasra (Ragini). But his mother asks him to come back to marry a girl (Sakshi Chowdary) from his enemy's family. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Shirley Jones plays an innocent young American abroad (Italy, specifically), assistant to the cynically sarcastic art historian Sanders. She becomes romantically involved with Sanders' current employer, the always charming Brazzi, unaware that he has a dark family secret.
