A commune built around the pursuit of spiritual perfection through the occult begins to see its prophecies come true.

George Phillips, a middle-aged Londoner, works as an estate agent for the firm of Frobisher, Rendell and Ross. His home life is soured by clashes with his wife over whether their teenage son's girlfriend should be allowed to sleep over at their house, a situation the timid, melancholic George dislikes but hasn't the guts to forbid. His professional life is dominated by his attempts to find a buyer for Sunley House, a once-fashionable 1960s office block which has lain unoccupied for over a year. When his wife leaves for Colchester to look after her elderly father, George avoids conflict with his son by sleeping over at Sunley House. Meanwhile, his workplace rival, a younger man called Rycroft, is also trying to find a buyer for Sunley House (and thereby usurp George's place in the firm). One morning George finds himself locked in and has to crash through a window to escape. When Rycroft finds the broken window, he sets out to find the culprit.

A bitter-sweet comedy about the problems which come with the avoidance of saying uncomfortable truths. An assistant professor gets lost in his lies as he attempts to postpone writing a negative review of an amateur fine arts essay.

One of the key factors in Italian unification was the overthrow in 1860 of Francesco, the King of Naples and the two Sicilies, who went into elegant but impoverished exile in Rome with his Queen, Maria Sofia. This seriocomic drama follows the deposed royals as they adapt to their new lives. The former king has recognized the political finality of his deposition, but his queen has taken to traveling in men's clothing all over Italy trying to foment an uprising to restore them to the throne. She is also frantic to have a baby, an heir, but the king has become celibate as a kind of homage to his beloved mother; he spends all his time lobbying the Vatican to get her declared a saint.

Young black man Fred struggles to find freedom in modern Britain. Set against the backdrop of Brexit and its impending doom! Interwoven with this is a LGBTQ tale of a love triangle of three matriarchal characters - both stories dealing with slavery, gentrification, art, love, race, mental health and politics.

The movie is about a love story between a young man and a girl that goes under a difficult test when her lover become blind and they must proof to each other their love.
