Nagasato Daisuke is a 39-year old bachelor with an extremely negative attitude towards marriage. However, he truly believes that he'd "rather be alone." Averse to taking the risk of bringing in other people into his living space, he protects it as if it was his castle, and is fully enjoying his idiosyncratic single life. Kumagai Hanako, on the other hand, is a 32-year old divorcee who works for a major trading firm. She has her own distinct thoughts about being single, doesn't want to get married again, and already planning for her life after retirement. When these two meet, they fight constantly, but they're actually similar in a lot ways.

Kim So Hyun (Kim Tae Hee) is an orphan who lost her father at a young age. Her father, who was a movie director, died in a fire while trying to save his original movie. Having been inspired at a young age, So Hyun took up writing with a desire to make a movie someday. When So Hyun becomes a young adult, she moves into a new apartment. Due to a communication error, she ends up sharing the apartment with a handsome young man named Kim Joon Pyo (Gong Yoo). Little does she know that Song Yoo Ra (Oh Seung Hyun), a childhood classmate, has a secret crush on Joon Pyo. Coincidentally, Yoo Ra and So Hyun work at the same place - So Hyun as the theater clean-up attendant, and Yoo-Ra as a staff in the production department. Park Tae-Young (Park Jung-Chul) is another staff in the production department of the theater that So Hyun and Yoo Ra work at. He meets So Hyun and is surprised to find himself eventually falling for her. As the drama progresses, the love triangle between So Hyun, Joon Pyo, Yoo Ra, and Tae Young becomes more severe. To make things even more interesting, So Hyun eventually finds out that the fire that killed her father, may not have been an accident.

It's a story of two gay high school seniors in a closeted relationship. When a photo is leaked to the entire school, connecting the pair, they must decide whether to love openly or to step further into the closet, creating a web of lies and deceit.
