Después de muchos años de trabajar en una agencia de publicidad con presencia mundial y ganarse varios premios, Maria José es despedida y reemplazada por tres publicistas junior. Luego de siete meses de desempleo se va a trabajar con su amigo Felipe Jaramillo en su pequeña agencia "Experimento Naranja", enfocada exclusivamente en jóvenes y creada bajo el concepto de "economía naranja / economía colaborativa". Felipe la convence con el argumento de que los jóvenes tienen altísimo poder de compra, independiente, original y que no tragan entero. Al contratarla, Jaramillo le promete una nueva aventura llena de nuevos conocimientos y "approaches". Pero María José se sentirá a diario perdida, en un mundo que al parecer no está hecho para los mayores de treinta, y en el que tratará de entender al equipo de publicistas veinteañeros con los que trabaja. Como mecanismo de supervivencia tratará de convencerse de que los treinta son los nuevos veinte.
