Set in 1950s Ireland, Playhouse is the story of a reclusive young woman living in an abandoned house, far away from civilization and reality. When her child is kidnapped by a masked figure, she must journey deep into her past to uncover why her child was taken and how to get him back. Her journey has many twists and turns however and she soon discovers that sometimes, the past is best forgotten.
Back in the 1200s, an evil man found a strange power, which he placed into an amulet and used the power to reek havoc. A man named Chris was able to thwart the evil wizard using his faith in God. Chris than brought it upon himself to hide the amulet and make sure it wouldn't fall into evil hands. In the present day, Chris' ancestor Don, has the amulet passed down to him. But he's having a crisis of faith and is not sure he can take on the task of hiding the amulet. However things go wrong when a dark figure comes looking for the amulet.
