Laszlo Balogh aka Clown Lala is a clown doctor who made a hundred thousand of sick people smile in the past twelve years. He was known and loved by a nation thanks to the successful television series Cartwheel thirty years ago, that he left behind for the sake of the circus. Finally he restarted everything, and ended up as a clown doctor. The entertaining and simultaneously touching creative documentary let us get to know Dr. Lala, the man of sarcastic humor, his fight for the maintenance of his foundation, and stories of numerous sick children, little everyday heroes through his vocation.

Billy Taylor gives a million-dollar party. It isn't worth the million, for it isn't much of a party, but the merrymakers mistake Billy's rich uncle for someone else and he cuts Billy off with $50 and leaves the rest to Sally Taylor. Sally promptly throws over her carpenter-sweetheart and goes into society. Billy falls in love with Babe, Sally's pretty young sister, and takes a job under Sam, Sally's ex-sweetheart. Then things happen that cause Sally to go out of society, a fortune-hunter to go to the hospital, and two pairs of sweethearts go to the minister.

Rosel, a girl in a village is head over heels in love with Martin, a soccer player who is quite the Casanova. Vera, a lady from the "big city" (Freiburg) is spending a lot of time with Martin, making Rosel very jealous. Rosel decides to try out for the "Miss Kirschwasser" competition, to win back Martin and to be able to see a bit of the world. A German-American businessman and his daughter come back to visit the homeland and they invite Rosel to America. Martin realizes he's going to lose the person who really means the most to him and....they all live happily ever after.
