A young filmmaker is struggling to get his autobiographical screenplay made into a film.

Comedic portrait of middle-aged women in Rio de Janeiro, including overworked housewife Magali and her over-the-top twin sister Magda, psychoanalyst Paula and her troublesome daughter Melanie, and stage star in crisis Lise.

The course of a gay relationship on the cusp of its ending, as seen in retrospect by Jeremy a love addict who has become disenchanted with this his 45th relationship.

The Schneider's aren't a neurotypical family. A year after the death of their mother, Samantha "Sam" Schneider, a teenage girl with ADHD, and her twin autistic sister Jaclyn "Jack" Schneider must learn the rules if they wish to survive High School.

Meet Dick, 32, single, newly unemployed, and with just nothing happening on either front. Been in therapy for 2 years, finally starting to sort some stuff out, when bang!! His therapist, Dr Schnell, has a mental breakdown, leaving Dick to fend for himself. Feeling cheated and with no one to talk to, Dick decides that if his shrink's in the nuthouse then there's no reason why he can't start his own practice. So he does... in the garage. But Dick's best friend and house-mate, Reece, who had been posing as a blind beggar, is not impressed. And so, in rival response, decides to reinvent himself as a spiritual healer. Despite the direct competition, and Reece's deliberate attempts at sabotage, Dick's Clinic thrives. Dirt cheap mental health proves to be an unexpected hit to the bottom feeders of suburbia. Dick soon finds himself dealing with a clientèle whose problems not only test his skill as a therapist, but also his patience. And amid the disfunction of Dick's chosen course, he begins to find a sense of compassion and an ability to love again.

Set in Poland in the 1970s, the main character half-heartedly goes about his job as a censor at the state run television station, whilst conducting affairs with nurses, airline pilots, etc. Interesting scene where main character must illegally emigrate to his own country.
