Summary Widower Appasaheb Deshmukh lives a wealthy lifestyle in Kolhapur along with his married son, Vilas, his wife, Madhuri, and their son, Sachin; and a daughter, Nandini. Madhuri proposes that Nandini get married to her brother, Dr. Sagar, which is well received by both Vilas and his dad. When asked, Sagar also approves of this alliance. But Nandini refuses to get married to Sagar and wants to gets married to Milind Desai, who she has fallen in love with.
