Legend of the Shadowy Ninja: The Ninja Dragon

A ragtag bunch of children and teenagers must work together, using a squadron of giant robots and a training ship, to travel back to Earth after their colony is wiped out in an alien attack.

One day, a huge UFO spins over Japan and crashes into a rural farmland outside Nagaoka, disrupting Tsubasa Misudachi's ordinary life. As the Gatchaman, the legendary defenders of Tachikawa City, supervise the ordeal, a peaceful alien creature emerges from the spacecraft. In the ensuing chaos, Tsubasa is given a special high-tech notebook, or NOTE, from Gatchaman founder J.J. Robinson, signaling Tsubasa's sudden recruitment into their group. Under the tutelage of fellow hero Hajime Ichinose, Tsubasa slowly begins to adjust to life as a defender of justice. Meanwhile, the CROWDS technology, which enables users to manifest their consciousness' into a physical form, is spreading amongst the public, as well as being endorsed by Prime Minister Sugayama. However, a mysterious organization known as VAPE has gained notoriety by using unique red CROWDS to wreak havoc, shifting public opinion against the CROWDS technology. The Gatchaman, along with new recruit Tsubasa, must put a stop to their destructive activities before it's too late.

One day, A peaceful city is attacked by a colossal space monster. In a desperate moment, the protagonist, Kang Chan, is led by a mysterious power to summon the extinct giant Tyrannosaurus rex from 65 million years ago. With the ability to communicate with dinosaurs awakened, Kang Chan joins forces with the Tyrannosaurus rex to battle the monsters. As more powerful monsters emerge, Tyrannosaurus rex combines its strength with four other dinosaurs. They transform into mechas and combine to form a mighty weapon, creating the Supertrons. Will Kang Chan and his friends be able to fend off the monsters and protect the Earth?

In the far future, a human colony planet fights a desperate war against a formidable alien invasion force with its own tensions.

The story focuses on the Gatchaman, a group of superheroes, who protect earth. The series also focuses on the question on what it means to be a hero.

A high school student with amnesia finds himself embroiled in a fight against superheroes guarding his town from mysterious weapons. With a mentor and Ginko, he seeks to unravel his role, the answers lying within his lost memories.
