I Stand: The Guardians of the Water

synopsis: A short documentary about Wildlife Rehabilitation that focuses on 4 caretakers in Ohio. From the perspective of the caretakers, the struggle and story of the animals will be told. These animals are usually abandoned or injured and would normally die in the wild without human intervention. The ultimate goal is release but sometimes euthanizing or permanent captivity for educational purposes are the only options.

Questioning her role in the destruction of her homeland, a successful business consultant in the US goes on a journey that reveals the untold negative impact of modern development on rural communities in Southern India. These farming communities are fighting to save their lands, passed down for generations, from the rapidly increasing threat of government sponsored forced land acquisitions. Walls and the Tiger holds testament to the villagers courage and resilience to save their way of life in the face of severe hardships brought on by powerful global forces in this modern tale of David vs Goliath.

This is a one-hour event produced for television and hosted by Jane Pauley. From the New York studios of ABC and scheduled to be broadcast on RLTV on January 29th 2013 Boomer Town Hall begins with the question; Are the Baby Boomers relevant? This program is about the images of Boomers projected in advertising, film and television, and how they compare to the self-image Boomers have of themselves, and the reality of who Boomers are.
