A five-part story detailing women and sex. In "The Housewife", a door-to-door salesman makes love to a lonely housewife. In "The Roomates" a woman and her date have sex, they awaken the woman's roomate who joins them. In "The Sensualist" two women make love to each other. In "The Fasion Model" a young model discovers more then posing in the nude for her attractive photographer. In "The Hippie" a woman smokes pot and makes love to an older man who wants to take her away from her bohemian life.

Two writers must face a dilemma that is common to anyone who has ever had an artistic friend: what happens when you have to give feedback, and the news isn't good? Sam, an aspiring screenwriter, and David, a successful magazine editor, have been pals for years. When David doesn't appreciate Sam's latest attempt, it opens a fissure in their friendship, one that spreads through the rest of their lives. Ultimately, both men must reevaluate their motivations to write, their need for praise and validation, and what it means to see yourself as you actually are.

The embarrassment begins when Magda, tired of living in hiding, decides to follow her heart, setting off an avalanche of new events. Asia breaks up with Tomek, Grandpa disappears, and Arek has a problem with re-gluing reality. When crises, conflicts, and desires which have been suppressed for years finally explode, everyone begins to live on their own. Or at least he thinks so. Will each of the family members find his or her own way to be happy?
