For Love of Ivy

Scattergood Baines, Coldriver's most popular citizen, neighborly counselor and sly old fox, entices a Broadway producer to Coldriver to see the gay musical extravaganza Baines is staging for the benefit of the U.S.O. He is also promoting the singing career of his latest local protégé, Betty Palmer. There are a few problems but the Sage of Coldriver manages to keep pulling the right strings.

1912. The steamer sails for Europe. At night, two men meet in the shadow of the side. A frank conversation takes place between them, in which one of them, imbued with confidence in the other, tries to pour out his soul to him and tells an incident that recently happened to him. He talks about how, having signed a long-term contract, he leaves Holland and goes to a remote tropical village to practice medicine. Being in a foreign land for a long time, he falls into despair. One day a certain noble lady comes to him and asks him to secretly terminate her pregnancy, while offering a large sum of money. However, in a fit of overwhelming feelings, he refuses money and demands another meeting with her after hours. Being humiliated, the woman runs out of the room. Repenting of his act, the doctor rushes after her, but does not have time to catch up with her. Later he learns that she is the wife of a major merchant and comes from a noble English family. The husband has been in America for a long time and should return soon. For a long time he remains in a state of obsession, pursues her everywhere, trying to correct his mistake and help her hide her infidelity to her husband.

Fifty Fifty is a comedy that takes place in Tel Aviv during the early 70's. Grossman is a bakery owner who wins the lottery, however, he holds only half of the winning ticket. The other half is in the possession of his partner Levi, who dies unexpectedly. The plot gets complicated when two crooks break and settle in Levi's apartment.

After Anastasio convinces a suicidal woman she has everything to live for, he is visited the next day by a mysterious man wanting to know the whereabouts of the troubled woman. Meanwhile, just having lost her job, Anastasio's girlfriend Fiona is hired to watch Chelsea, a woman haunted by traumatic memories involving her parents. Both Anastasio and Fiona experience a day-long odyssey of mystery and self-discovery.

The story takes place in a parallel world during a tour of the musician Daniel Melingo in Europe. What looks like real not always is. With elements of surrealism, the 1930s and the 21st century, the plot accompanies him always focused on the intermediate times, when he downs the stage, away from the show.
