Their relationship is further strained when Macklin blames Happy for taking Corry's space cruiser through a meteor belt causing a crash landing when he, in fact, disobeyed Happy's orders concerning their course.

Corey orders Happy to stow away on the spaceship and await developments, not realizing that the crooked captain has an informant working in Space Patrol's secret code section and passing along crucial information to the criminals.
