Fogelstadgruppen (The Fogelstad group) was formed in 1921 by Elisabeth Tamm, Ada Nilsson, Honorine Hermelin, Kerstin Hesselgren and Elin Wägner, and was politically engaged, but party-politically independent. The group's main practical contribution was the Women's Civic School at Fogelstad and the weekly magazine Tidevarvet. Kerstin Hesselgren became the first female member of the Swedish Parliament. Swedish artist Siri Derkert was an important part of Fogelstadgruppen.
